Been a fan of the games since Pokemon Yellow Version. I did end up
getting Red and Blue Versions for Christmas that same year and
still own the original carts. Shame the internal batteries are
pretty well dried up... They can still save but it might. not
retain it for long.
I do understand that there are a lot of guides to replace those
batteries but I've been swamped with a busy schedule to really
think about trying... 😅

First Pokemon game that I can remember... probably Pokemon Stadium
on the N64. I had also bought a strategy guide once since my young
self had no idea what types and basic strategy were. If I had
played it now, I'd definitely be able to beat it by myself.
The first games I ever played were Leaf Green and Sapphire, but I
didn't really understand them. They were my older sisters games and
I was just learning how to read. But the first game I played that I
truly understood and knew what to do was Diamond. It was the first
game I actually owned and it holds a special place in my heart. I
am very excited to be able to relive those memories with Brilliant
Diamond.
