Like preventing people from spamming our feeds. A cooldown would be a great implement.
5-10 minutes would do?
I remember some people I had to remove due to this. They posted every minute...

When would this cooldown kick in? Do you mean there should be a 5-10 min. cooldown after every feed you post? Because I think that might be a bit excessive. Sometimes you might post feeds really close to each other very innocently. (For example, you complain about a bad shiny chain in one feed and then your next egg hatches shiny three minutes later and you wanna post a new feed about it.)

I think there being a threshold of feeds you have to cross to activate the cooldown would be better. For example, after posting three feeds in close succession (within that 5-10 min.?), you trigger the 5-10 min. cooldown.

Agreed. I myself strongly dislike close feeds, but sometimes I just want to say or share something without waiting the extra 10-30 mins for worry of irritating my friends with close feeds. I think, if this was implemented, we should be allowed to have those moments.

That being said, I'm kinda eh on this. On one hand, it would stop people from spamming my notif wall, which I find annoying. On the other, as I mentioned, sometimes I have my moments when 'close feeds' may be justified. Not to mention that there are users who don't mind close feeds either, and I feel like having a cooldown might be kind of annoying. What if I wanted to post something else, but couldn't because I had to wait 10 minutes? What if I forget what I wanted to say by that time?

There already is a cooldown, it's been there for years. I think you can only post 3-4 feeds per hour or something.

I thought they were talking about users posting a reply to a feed, not posting a feed themselves.

That 3-4 feeds per hour isn't there

I have a friend who posts 8 feeds per hour
Out of 20 notifications, like 12 of them would be theirs
