About me!
I'm a 24-year-old cis-female, who's possibly lesbian or bi or asexual
So long as you treat me with respect and kindness, I'll return the favor. If you don't, well, let's not go down that road. . .
I joined the PH community on10/01/2019 with my starter as Chikorita!

Fun facts:
Despite having many favorite colors in the past, I love the color Cyan.
Never beat Minecraft's Enderdragon, Jean.
My first Pokemon game starter was Chimchar on a friend's Pokemon Pearl Ds copy, but the true starter was Squirtle from Pokemon Leaf Green.
Eevee/Eeveeloutions, Gardavoir, Emologa, Scorbunny, and Piplup are a few of my top favorite pokemon!
That being said, I hate Pikachu and Skwovet with a burning passion. . .both for personal reasons. . .
I have a Gmax Charizard on Pokemon Sword named after a friend of mine named Kaila, who unfortunately passed away December 31, 2019 due to a motorcycle accident.
Have you ever. . .
Gotten an injury? Yes, I have a loooooooong list too, and not all of the injuries are cat/dog scratches.
Suffered motion sickness? Nope, but I think my sister does.
Lemon? Nope.
Been to different states? Yes, Texas (to visit aunt), Florida (a few times to visit my aunt then once for band/choir trip to Disney), and Kentucky (FFA trip)
Been outside of the USA? Nope, but I have always wanted to visit Japan though
Been to a Concert? Yes, during an FFA trip.
Done a Pokemon Nuzlock? No, but I've been thinking of starting one once I get things set up.

Ocs I make. I started with my strengths and weaknesses, then I
stripped her of all the qualities I didn't want for her and kept
the ones I thought would best suit her. Then I started on what I
believed her ideals would be.
One thing I wanted for sure with Faith was to be a fighter but still have motherly tenderness. Similar to me, she believes in the goodness of other people and that even in the worst of situations there is still hope no matter how slim it is. While she doesn't believe in violence for solving problems, she will fightand
she's one helluva fighter too I might add when she or her loved
ones are in danger.

Nova
Katsunaki Clan (by Uzumaki) (2019)
With Nova, I wanted to try a different angle of character concepts. I gave her a somewhat cold and emotionless demeanor that eventually melted away into a more serious but caring demeanor. She's a natural fighter at heart.

Coraline Cyan Splatterhawk
MineGames (2021)
Oh boy, where do I start with her. Coraline was created after I finally got Splatoon 2 for my Switch lite, and admittedly I wasn't sure at first how I felt about the game, but as you see, I loved the gamethough I mostly enjoy splatting my ink everywhere
even if I don't have too- and eventually Coraline was
created.
Coraline is part inkling and part human, and being part inkling means that she's bi-lingual as she's fluent in Inkling/Octoling, but her english is a bit broken. Her most used weapon is the splat dualies, her sub is the Burst Bombs with the special being Tenta Missiles. Like other Inklings she can change into a squid at will (which she was able to do once she hit 14), however, unlike other Inklings/Octolings, she has bones (because she's part human).
She was born like other Inklings/Octolings are: From his/her parent splitting their ink everywhere that they can for a week (yes, that's how Inklings/Octolings are born I even looked it up) and protect the area with their life in hopes at least one offspring will survive. Coraline's mother (an Inkling) used this method and when Coraline almost died shortly after being formed, her father (a human) spread some of his DNA on the ink, it gave Coraline the strength she needed to survive. Coraline has a younger twin sister whose part Octoling and part human.
Coraline is naive and is generally a bit of a goofball. Even if her intentions to do good aren't perceived as such, her heart is often in the right place. She's active and loves sports, mainly to participate in Splatfest in hopes that one day she'll win and be champion of a Splatfest.

* One encounter per route, even if it faints
* You MUST name every Pokemon you receive (catching, breeding, or gifting)
* If a pokemon faints, it's dead and must be released OR put in a PC

Whiteout/blackout = Loss.
You may restart from last save point if you want
to try again, but party MUST be cleared. THIS ALSO COUNTS AS A
LOSS!
*Specific nature is locked: Neutral natures only (Bashful/Docile/Hardy/Quirky/Serious). If the pokemon you catch doesn't have it, you can either keep it but not use it (counts as first encounter) OR optional soft reset but you can only catch that pokemon, anything else either grind or flee. The starter you'd just soft reset until you get it
Running out of usable Neutral nature Pokemon counts as a Game Over. If this happens, the game must be hard reset.
*Wild encounters: Tallgrass and fishing both count as an encounter for the route/town! Pokemon gifted by NPCs in-game, event gift Pokemon, breeding, and trade Pokemon from others, count as their own encounter and can be treated as seen fit. HOWEVER, Duplicates of Pokemon can be caught BUT ONLY IF YOU ARLEADY HAVE 1st ENCOUNTER ON THAT ROUTE!
In this case:
Trades: Can be used for anything but the nuzlock itself! (Trading, breeding, Dynamax raid battles, etc.) The only exception is trading to evolve a pokemon, but then you need to get the pokemon back.
NPC Gifted Pokemon: Can be used so long as it's a neutral nature
Event Gift Pokemon: Can be received but not used and must be Perma PCed.
Breeding: No limit
Dynamax raid den: No limit
*Shiny Clause: Shiny Pokémon ignores the nature lock, do not need to be released if they faint, can be caught regardless if a pokemon was caught on the same route or not. If a shiny Pokemon is used and faints in battle, it can be used once again, but if it faints a second time it must be put in PC and considered dead.

* Received Female Lvl 5 Scorbunny
(Babs) from Leon!
* Babs criti hit Hop's Garoky with Ember and burned it, almost a KO!
* Beat Hop! Babs lvled up to seven and learned ember
After the battle, I was about to head back to the house when Hop and I both heard the crash, and guess what? That Wooloo tackling the fence was gone.thought you took care of that Hop- So we
went after in the "forbidden forest" of Slumbering Weald.
Naturally, there's a fog and we can't find it, but we do find a
ghost Pokemon Zacian operation? Illusion? It's a ghost- and
Hop being scared out of his wits leaves me to fight it. Surprise,
can't land a hit. We both blackout and wake up sometime later with
Leon who somehow not only managed to find us but also that darned
Wooloo that got away. Hop accidentally spills the beans about the
incident and Leon mentions about ledges of strong pokemon then
mentions that maybe we'd be the ones to discover the truth once we
were stronger.
Eventually, we return home and tell mom that we're off on a journey and mom gives us some money and tells Babs to look after usthanks mom!
* Received Singing Pikachu gift (not to use, but just to have for the Pokedex. He's staying in the PC because I never caught him myself.)
Anyway, time to head to Route 1!
* Found a potion and Two paralyze heals!
* Caught a Male lvl 4 Caterpie (Cater)! (1st encounter, soft rest 3 times and fled 20 times)
And we have now entered Wedgehurst! Time to get our Pokedex!
3/17/2021:
Leon meets me at the Professor's building then we go inside. As he complements Prof. Magnolia's workspace a Yamper comes and greets us, and his trainer Sonia, who is Magnolia's granddaughter/assistant/ Leon's childhood friend. We talk for a bit about Rotom phones and Leon then are finally given our Pokedex which was from her grandmother.
And now to explore!
*received a potion from a random dude who loves to give people things!great!
Oh yeah, then Hop basically tells us things we already know.thanks Hop. . . We then headed inside the Pokemon center and
deposited the singing Pikachu as well as took care of the other PC
basics.
I then browsed along in the boutique for awhile and finally settled on a white zip hoodie and blue denim pants. I then went to the changing room and removed my parka and hat. There! Now I'm looking fresh!that was a Splatoon joke please laugh- I waste the
rest of my money on 89 Oran, Pecha, and Cheri berries because
we're going to need them later for Curry. As I neared Route 2
Hop again encounters me again and asks if since now I'm a trainer
if I'm going to take on the gym challenge Uh duh, of course, I
am, which is basically an annual competition where trainers
battle to challenge the Champion. However, in order to compete, you
need to be endorsed by someone. So because Leon donesn't think Hop
is up to it he's going to as the professor to see if she can help.
nice one And apparently he wants me to join as well because
every trainer needs a good rival to get stronger.
*Found a revive!that I'm probably never going to use-
And now we finally enter Route 2!
*Insert conversation about catching Pokemon that we don't really need to discuss* But Leon gave us 20 Pokeballs too, so that's awesome!
* Caught a Male lvl 7 Yamper (Bolt)! (1st encounter, soft rest 4 times and fled 5 times)
* Babs lvled up and learned Quick Attack!
I did some grinding because Cater was still lvl four while the other two were near lvl 10, eventually I got Cater to evolve into a Metapodso woo-. we also had our first trainer battle with
Youngseter Jake, who sent out a Skwovet. Surprise, surrpise, Cater
and Bolt teamed up and beat the hell out of it.
*Found 2 potions and some pokeballsI think-
And another trainer battle with Lass Lauren, who sends out Chewtle. Crater just tackles the thing to death and just outside of the professor's house we encounter Youngster Benjamin who sends out Blipbug. And like before, Cater tackles it to death. He sends out Nicket and I send Babs out to do the job, and she gets it done.
*Found a repel!
I finally reach the professor's house and with Hop next me we proceed to meet not only the professor but also Leon. We head inside and talk about the phenomenon Dyanmaxing/Gigantamaxing, which basically makes pokemon bigger and the later can even change your pokemon's appearance. Hope then asks the professor to have Leon endorse both me and him, and after some nudging from Prof. Magnoila he does. However, he need to prove to him that we're capable by showing him an amazing battle outside.
*Found the TM Payback behind Magnoila's house!
*Found a great ball in Magnoila's garden!
And so the battle with Hop starts!
Hop sends out his Wooloo and I send out Cater. It was a constant back and forth between Cater and Wooloo as they tackled each other up until Cater landed a last-minute critical hit and knocked out Hop's Wooloo. Hop then sends out Rookidee and I send out Bolt and makes quick work of it. Finally Hop sends out Grookey and I send out Babs. She burns the living hell out of Grookey. So that's a win!
So in the end we both get endorsed and then we get wishing stars. These Magnolia makes into dyanamax band for us to wear and some more talk about the pokemon Hop and I encountered in Slumbering Weild. Hope and I then return to Wedgehurst station and our parents give us some camping geardefinitely going to use that for
grinding ALOT.
*Received Female lvl 10 Eevee (Cream) from boy in Wild area Station!
I purposely traveled back to the Wedgehurst station to catch the Galarian Slowpoke that was blocking the way. This battle was a bit rougher since it was lvl 12 and the two strongest Pokemon I had were Cream and Babs at lvl 10 while Bolt and Cater were lvl 9. I started with Cater and focused on lowering the speed for the sake of my team, but can we mention how annoying Yawn is due to constant switching to avoid falling asleep? Anyway, I switched between Cater and Bolt at first, Cater both tackling and string shotting it while Bolt paralyzed it with Nuzzle then spamming SwiftHop gave me
that TM. However Cater barely managed to survive a confusion
and was sitting at a not-so-chill 6 HP, so then it was Bolt and
Cream, the latter spamming Sand attack and growl because goddamn
that Glaraian Slowpoke loves spamming Yawn.
*Caught a Male lvl 12 Galarian Slowpoke (Salmon)! (1st encounter, soft rest 3 times and fled 0 times)
Bolt learned Bite and Cater also evolved into a Butterfree and learned Gust, so that was cool. I bought some potions as well because I only had one left.
*received 5 Pokedolls from hiker lady.

Also challenged Breeder Chole who used all three starters. Grookey vs Crater, Sobble Vs Bolt/Cream, and Scorbunny Vs Salmon. I won, thanks for the Exp and cash! Babs also evolved into a Raboot after fighting her a second time. We also met the curry master/camping dude who gave us some stuff.
AND WE FINALLY MAKE IT TO MOTOSTOKE!I'm pooped-
And then Sonia shows up just as I'm about to explorewhat do you
mean my pokemon are ragged? We're fine. . .oh wait, the battle with
that breeder. I have no shame in admitting that I messed with
my league card for a few minutes either. Oh hey look a
Nugget. After freshening up my appearance again, another
Splatoon 2 joke- I received TR13 Focus energy and after more
exploring I sign up for the Gym challenge (with the number 48)
but I was thinking about 69 for meme wise-!
3/22/2021:
We head inside to find Sonyia looking at a stature of a guy holding asword and shield, though she claims to be doing research for the pokemon that are said to be Slumber Weald and teh legends surrounding Galarstory time!.
"Long ago. . .a great black storm covered the Galar region. People called it "the Darkest Day." The land was assaulted by gigantic Pokemon. . . .but they were defeated by a single young hero bearing a sword and shield."
The Statue in the hotel is meant to depict the young hero of the legend, they don't understand the kind of Sword and Sheild the hero was wielding and the "black storm" was another mystery. The black storm had blotted out all the skies around Galar. Cue Hop saying that the hero must've bene as strong as Leon, dude, not
everything is about your bro.
Afterwards Hop and I check into the Budew in for the night, or try to be cause there's these people in the way, Team Yell someone calls them. Their excuse is they want to cheer on the Gym challengers, or more so one in particular. In order to get them to back off we have to fight them. So we dobecause they're weak!
And Babs keeps one-shotting them with Double kick.. And we win
thanks to Hop helping, eventually. Evntually the challenger that
Team Yell was supposed to be cheering on, Marine, arives and
basilcy tells them to screw off and aplogises to us for them
getting in the way. With that we finally check-in.
The next morning, Hop is already down in the lobby practicing his throwokay? makes a comment about filling another page in
his legend before running off to Motostoke's gym for the gym
challenge ceremony. And we do too, eventually. Afterwards we meet
Chairmen Rose for the first time, who seems very excited for us and
the Gym Challenge in general. After we head back outside to head to
route 3 I'm given access to Flying Taxis, which allows me to Fly to
any location I've already been to. As we're about to head to Route
3 Hop challenges us to another battle.
Hop sends out Wooloo but Babs knocks it out with a Double Kick. When Hop sent out Grookey I was a bit hesitant but I sent out Zella, she's fine, she's got this, nothing Air Slash can't handle. Hop sent out Rookidee and I sent Kaila with faith she could do the job, it was a bit scary, she landed a not-so-chill 7 HP but we go it done. Just put the bird to sleep and spammed confusion. It's fine, she's fine, we're fine.
Hop gives me one of his leave cards and then heads out.
3/23/2021:
Time to explore!
Heading out to Route 3 we have a few trainer battles, found some items, explored a camp made by NPC Biccna, and caught a Rolycoly. We also ran into Sonia who rambled a bit about Chairmen Rose and gave me a an escape rope.
Galar Mines!
Inside we had a few more battles, and during a fight with a miner's Timbur, I nearly lost Cater to Rock throw. Twice. But we got through it. We're okay, we're fine. Afterward, I found a few items and a TM, and camped a bit more for grinding purposes. I was thinking of catching a Timbur, but someone in the Pokemon Challenges Discord Server recommended Drilbur instead, so I'll have to hunt for that later.Found one! His name is Moley fight
me.
During a fight with Worker Russel, Kaila nailed a critical hit with Confusion and knocked out his RolycolyShe's growing up so
fast- and I'm so proud of her.
Then we got this butthole- (insert video clip of Bede encounter here)
So In case yall didn't know Bede solely uses psychic type Pokemon. I started with Kaila using Double team in an attempt to give Kaila a little more wiggle room to attack/ This. . .didn't work so well, and because Bede was having his Soloisis spam confusion I had to pull her when she got confused and put Cater in her place. Cater put Bede's pokemon to sleep which gave me time to hit it with Swift twice which led to a knockout. When Bede pulled out his Gotica I pulled Zella because she's the only one with a bug-type move, Leech Life. Needless to say Zella made quick work of his last two Pokemon, though she did give me a mini heart attack and early died to Hattrenia's Confusion surviving on 3 HP, but she hung in there and turned the tide with Leech Life.
Still think your hot ish now, Draco Malfoy rip off?
On to Route 4!
After healing up my team with the nice sisters that were on either side of Galar Mine I walked out and raided a berry tree. Then I went and caught myself a Diglett with the ability Arena Trap. I also caught another Female Eevee and promptly named her snowflake, then turned her into a Glaceon. Now I had an extra team member for Milo.
While training some of my other Pokemon to lvl 20, Ace evolved into a Corvisquire and Posidon evolved into a Quagusire.
Arriving finally at Turffeild. . .
The first thing we do is get encountered by Hop, not for a battle but rather to deliver a message from Sonia. We need to meet her at the historical Geoglyph on the hillside. Of course, her Yamper shows us the way. She asks for our opinion on it, which in my personal opinion is reflecting Darkest Day. After some back and forth I'm allowed to go on my way.
After a bit more grinding I ended up finding a shiny Galarina Meowth (that I'm perma PCing) and. . . (insert video here) Snowflake ended up killing it instead.God damn it-
THAT'S IT! I'M DONE FOR TODAY!
3/24/2021
After much grinding Kaila evolved into a Kirlatounge twister
much? and then emptied my party aside from Snowflake to grind
her up to lvl 20 in the Galar Mine. killed so many Rolycolys
it's not even funny.
On to the Turffeild Gym for our first gym badge against Milo's grass types!
In my party (all lvl 20) I had (in order) Cater the Butterfree leading us, then Snowflake the Glaceon, Zella the Zubat, Ace the now Corvisquire, Kaila the Kirla, and Babs the Raboot. Hop gives us some encouragement before he heads off to the next gym.
Alright, first Nuzlock gym fight. Deep breath in, out. Let's go.
Each gym has a challenge for the challengers to complete before they can fight the gym leader, not to mention we still need to fight the gym trainers as well. This one we need to guide a herd of Wooloo to the goal where they'll then break down the straw bale blockades. Alright, sounds easy enough.
(insert video(s) here.)
The first one was easy enough, the second one and onward had a Yamper running along and scaring the Wooloo away from the goal. How do you get rid of the Yamper? Fight the trainer(s) of course.
The 1st trainer had a Glossifer, which Cater knocked out with Gust. One down and I don't know how many to go. The next one sends out a Buddew which Cater knocks out with Pysbeam. I then send out Zella to Air slash the opposing Oddish and she knocks it out with a Critical hit.A little op but other than that nice work
Zella! On we go!
The last gym trainer as two Yamper running along, so naturally I knock her team out no problem. Cater knocks out the Bonsweet and Ace takes care of the Oddish. NO issues, not on to the Milo.
After proper conversation is exchanged Milo sends out Glossifleur and I send Cater out and he makes short work of it. Now for his Eldgoss. I swap Cater with Snowflake and we both dyamnax our pokemon. Snowflake uses Max Hailstorm which nearly knocks it out and also causes a hailstorm to ensue. He uses Max Strike which dose a bit of damage, but then uses max Overgrowth, but even with the circical hit she's still standing tall. We wipe him with another Max Hailstorm and the gym badge is ours!
Our next stop is Hulbury to face Nessa, whose specialty is water types. I have only two Pokemon at the moment to use against her, Kaila with the new TM Magical Leaf I used on her and Bolt, who I was training/playing with viva Pokeball Plus (insert short exclamation about that). Wait, what do you mean Pokemon from Sword/Shield don't get EXP from the Pokeball Plus!?shiiiiiiiiiiiii-
On Route 5 we encounter a newscasting duo that Bolt and Poisidon take out without much trouble. I also got our Magikarp encounter since we ended up killing one in the Wild area. After a battle with a breeder Zella evolved into a Golbatone step close to
Crobat.
As we make our way to Hulbery we encounter a doctorI think
who is being harassed about handing over a bike by Team Yell.
Great. Time to take them down! Bolt was able to scrape by the first
pokemon while Babs easily killed the other one. I nearly lost Bolt
to the second Team Yell's Sableye so I quickly swapped over to
Poisidon and won the fight. We got a bike out of it so I'm
happy!
Crossing half way the bridge Hop is waiting for me again to fight."Wait, before we fight I just need to do something" *sets up
camp* "What are you-" "I'M CAMPING! I NEED TO HEAL AND I DONT HAVE
ENOUGH POTIONS TO DO IT."
Okay, let's go.
Hop sends out how Wooloo that Bolt eventually takes out with a bit of difucluty, but only because Hop was spaming growl and defense curl, good thing I got Swift! Hop then sends out his starter which as finally solved into a Thwacky, but Zella makes quick work of it. Hop then sends out his final Pokemon Corvisquire and I send out Kaila to do the job and she does it with ease. Nice work team!
Zella also evolved into the much-needed Crobat for, later on, heck yeah!
3/25/2021
Finally arriving in Hulbery we see this go down. (insert two videos)
Once everything went down I decided to go out and grind. I also traded some Pokemon not necessarily to use, but just to have. But finally, I got Bolt to Evolve into a Boltund. Cheers to progress being made. Also, Stuffel and Wobefet are a**holes.
3/26/2021
After everyone in my party was lvl 26, I decided to at least see how strong the gym trainers were, that way I knew if I needed to grind more for Nessa or not. I was a bit nervous as I only had Bolt and Kaila for this fight, Bolt had Spark and Kaila had Magical Leaf for super effective moves. Welp here goes nothing.
So this time the gym's puzzle is to clear a maze that's infested with water pipes spilling water in random locations, pushing a button will turn off some pipes but turn others on. So in other words, lots of backtracking and button-pushing.
effing finally.
So since Kaila and Bolt were able to sweep the gym trainers no problem I decided that okay, I'll try to take on Nessa and hopefully don't lose anyone.
Well, guess who discovered that Bolt was an absolute wrecking ball on Nessa's Goldeen and Arowana? Yep, he just shocked the hell out of them.Do I smell seafood? When Nessa sends out her
Drednaw and Dynamaxes it, I pull out Kaila and Dynamax her as well.
Kaila nearly knocked out the Drednaw with Max Overgrowth, almost.
Then I got a big jumpscare. I forgot the Nessa's Drednaw could
learn Bite and I nearly lost my Kirla to Max Darkness. Thankfully
she survived on 4 HP and finished it off. Alright. From now on
we're going into a gym without our team at least a decent lvl
difference, I don't care how long it takes for us to grind to get
there!
The chairman's secretary reminds us of the dinner *date*date
being used lightly here and gives us his league card so we can
recognize his face. There's some ideal chit-chat before he finally
gets to us, only for them to leave. And the worst part? We never
got our food!
Next route! Galar Mine 2.
Hop and I explore Galar Mine 2and when I say that I mean I'm
left to wander around and train while Hop goes on his own. and
I catch myself a nice Shellos East Sea versionwait, I already
have a water ground type. . .guess you're my back up and named
him Cobalt (fight me). I also went back to the Wild area's Bridge
Feild and caught myself a Noibat that I named Musa (after several
soft resets because they won't stop spamming whirlwind!).
I also bred my Eevee with another that I got from my other Sword File for the sole purpose of breeding for Eeveelotions in case something happens to my team and I need a quick replacement. . .and so I was able to live out my dream- (insert video camp full of Eevees here) I have no regrets. I evolved most of my Eevees into their respective Eeveelotions, they are the following. *Takes deep breath* Leaf into Leafeon, Jolt into Jolteon, Marriland into Vaporeon, Ash into Flareon, Reaper into Umbreon, and Spencer into Espeon. I think a camp full of Eeveelotions is my lucky charm- (insert video of perfect curry here.)
3/27/2021 - 3/28/2021
After some personal grinding with Reaper I reorganized my team to the following: Reaper, Snowflake, Cater, Poseidon, Zella, and Babs and we continued our hunt for Kabu- (insert Bede's battle here) oh great, you're here too. After another battle with Bede (Reaper and Zella sweeping him and his team), we continue to grind our team as we search for Kabu.
During one of our camping sessions, we get a Barroach to join us and after teaching her Bulldoze she was a monster, she ended up murdering both of Team Yell's pokemon despite being two levels lower. And Hop's Wooloo.Whoops-
Anyway, Hop and I find Kabu dealing with Team Yell Grunts, (bet they were the same ones that I beat), chastizing them on not getting in Pokemon's way when they're working. Kabu advises us to rest up at the Budew Hotel and we head out to Monostoke outskirts where we have a few more battles and catch a Noctowl that I named G.O., short for Great Owl.
After a bit of training, we head to the Budew Hotel and have a battle with Marine. and we win with Babs and Zella respectively. In the morning Marine is waiting for us in the lobby and gives us Kabu's card and two burn heals before we head out to Kabu. Once we get to Monostoke gym we encounter Hop who informs us that he already got his badge. Now it's our turn.
MONOSTOKE GYM!
The gym challenge is this: Catching pokemon to earn the most points, we need at least five to pass, one point for knocking out a pokemon, and two for catching. The Gym trainers are also going to be there to hinder us in the competition by either knocking the pokemon out or by hitting our own Pokemon. Yes, they actually stoop that low.
I set my sights on the Vulpix for my encounter and send out Poseidon to take out the gym challenger's Rolycoly and Growthlie then swap for Kaila to carefully widdle down its health with Magical Leaf and throw a Great ball. . .and Ashley the Vulpix is mine! I also caught the Litwack and Sizzlipede.
3/29/2021
On to the fight with Kabu! It was a fierce showdown between Reaper and Kabu's Ninetails as it continuously spammed ember and Will-O-Wisp, but he pulled through and we won. You've earned the rest buddy. Next, I had Poseidon face his Arcanine, and Poseidon knocked it out with Aqua tail. Then came his Gmaxable Centiskorch. Both of us dynamaxed our Pokemon (or in Kabu's case Gmax). IT took Zella two Max Airstreams but she pulled through and the third badge is ours.
After the fight, Hop and I are about to head out to the Wild area again when Milo, Kabu, and Nessa come to see us off as not many make it this far and give up at Kabu, but since we got this far they come to see us off for support (insert video here). After a meme reference rip off of sorts, Hop and I are about to head to Hammerlocke, which is our next targeted location, only for Bede to show up and after a few snide remarks Hop challenges Bede to a fight and the two head their own way to have at each other.
Along the way, I raided more berry trees and caught a male Gastly (Gaster) at the hallowed ruins, a Bronzor (Belle) at Gaint's Seat, a Machop (Chuck Norris) at South Lake Miloch, and a Vanillite (Frosty) at Mirror's Edge. I also caught a few Dynamax den pokemon (Vileplume, Baltoy, Nuzleaf, Comfey). Eventually, I make it, soaking wet from the rain but I make it regardless.
3/30/2021 - 3/31/2021
Bede shows up and Hop is. . .no where to be seen. Bede brags that he beat him no problem. After healing up our team we browse the shops for a bit before- (insert video here). We bump into Leon and chat a bit about Hop's losing to Bede. Leon decides to head out, but not before telling me to go talk to Raihan and check out the vault.
Okay but first! I traded this one lady for Togpi and helped a guy woo his girlfriend with an Applin that took forever to find.
GRINDING TIME!
Then I almost had a death on my hands. While I was napping because I felt like crap, my cousin used my recently caught Chrerib (Cheri) to fight a wild Greedant. . .and she killed it. When I woke up a half-hour later she had nearly gotten Reaper killed as well, but he hung in there on 4 HP. What a trooper. I was a bit panicked because I thought that this counted, but in the wise words of Sketchy101 | EK For Fun:
"Your run, your rules. I would not count the death if you didn’t give the switch to them, but it counts if you did give it to them."
So because she had taken my switch off the charger and played with it despite me telling her not to the death didn't count so Cheri gets a free pass.
Lots of friendship grinding ensues with the Togepi to evolve it so it can breed with the Ditto (thanks to the other Sword File) and got a baby Togepi that I can hold on to in case I need him/her later. I also realized that I need more electric types in case. . .you know. Bolt dies on me. Which I don't want!
So finally I got a baby Togepi (Lucky) and reorganized my team to prepare for my next gym challenge, Bea, who's a master at fighting type. But first, the vault and Raihan.
We arrive and he seems pretty excited to eventually battle me (NOT looking forward to that. . .) then we explore the vault and its contents inside. Not much on the first floor. However, up a few flights of stairs, we see four tapestries and the legend of Darkest Day. And Sonia's there as well examining them:
Two youths watching a wishing star, then disaster unfolds before the two youths. The sword and shield stopping disaster with the two youths looking on, then finally the youths being crowned.
4/1/2021
DAY OFF! Gotta take care of mental health! Also, prepare images for the video.
4/2/2021
Thanks to a user named Charbar on Discord I was able to catch the shiny Azumarill den event for Easter and I do plan on using it at some point.probbably- Then I proceeded to waste more time
camping and exploring more wild areas because why not.
Oh yeah, Kiala and Lucky evolved.
Heading out to route 6 there's two Yell Grunts monitoring a sleeping Silicobracan I have it? and we can't get by
because "Kids are noisy." Okay, first off I'm a 24 female
Pokemon fan so step off, and second I'm only noisy when I'm talking
about things I enjoy, do you REALLY want to go there!? Hop
rolls in and basically tells me to handle it. Poseidon and Babs
handle the first grunt while Kaila handles the last one.
After the two Yell grunts flee for fear of the Silacobra waking up and attacking, Hop finally explains his slump. Bede basically kicked his behind the battle and even though Hop admits he can take a loss, but it was the comment about dragging Leon's name down being as bad as Hop was that really got to him. He leaves to clear his head and the Silicobra goes on its merry way.
After the somewhat tender conversation, Opal shows up randomly, and apparently, she watched our fight and wants to see me go full out. . .alright, not creepy at all.
4/3/2021 - 4/5/2021
[spoiler]Caught a Helioptile (PrickSunny), nearly cost me
Musa and Lucky just to catch her. Then I spent time personally
grind up Musa, Orb, and Lucky. During that time we fought a hiker
which caused both Cheri to evolve into a Cherrim, Barbra to evolve
into a Whiscrash. We barely scraped by that fight as Orb, who was
exactly ten levels lower, nearly died on us nailing it with
paralysis and that Throh is notorious for using Circle Throw. . .
and my team was under-leveled. But we won, barely.
Later on, I nearly lost Kaila to a Dugtrio's Final Gambit, she merceily survived on 15 HP.
*Insert Dugtrio using Final Gambit here*
In case you don't know, Final Gambit is a HP based move. Final Gambit causes the user to faint, and the target receives damage equal to the user's remaining HP before using Final Gambit. So if the enemy has like 100 HP it deals 100 damage. Alright, math time. My Gardevoir and the Dugtrio were both lvl 33. My Gardevoir has 91 HP at full health. The Dugtrio used Final Gambit at the start of the fight and Kaila had 15 HP when it was done. So. . . that means that the Dugtrio had 76 HP at full health.
4/6/2021
We arrive at Stow and Slide finally after many team swapping and grinding. Hop's there already and we win against another fight, we also detour around to the mural. . . *insert clips of SAS Mural* Alright. Now for the gym itself. Wait, what do you mean "the gym challenge makes you dizzy??" *Insert clip of gym challenge* Oh shi-
Lucky and Spencer were able to team up and take out the gym challengers with no issues. Then it was time for Bea.
Lucky quickly dispatched the Hitmontop with Fly, Cater took care of the Pangoro with no issues as well. So far so good. Two down, two to go. Musa and Zella co-oped to aced the Sirfectch'd. I almost lost my Noibat/Musa to Bea's Sirfecth'd's Sword Danced Brutal Swing. My little girl survived on 1 HP. What a trooper.
Kaila to dispatch of the Gmaxed Machamp. Alright, Kaila, it's all up to you now. And wouldn't you know it, after enduring two Gmax Strikes Kaia pulled through and won the match for us on 5 HP. That's my girl. *Insert clips here of Bea battle here*
Leaving the gym with badge number four in hand we're greeted by Sonia's Yamper and Sonia and - *Insert clip here* God d*mn it. Now what?! You know what, screw it, I'm going to go grind then I'll check it out.
After a bit of grinding Babs Evolved into a CinderanceShe's
grown so fast~
Alright, now what's the problem- *insert Clip with Bede at Stow-and-Slide* God d*mn it, not you again! Didn't you learn your lesson the last time!? Reaper, you ready to throw down again. *Excited Umbreon noises in the background* Alright, let's go.
I send Reaper out Reaper is a stone-cold killer, wiping Bede's party with little issues. Hell yeah!
After Bede's fight Ace evolved into the much-needed Corvknight I needed to face Opal alongside Zella. Bede has a little hissy fit when I beat him (again, no big shocker) then everything hits the fan. Chairman Rose, his secretary, and two league members show up and after a somewhat heated argument along with Bede being moron of the month he's pulled from the gym challenge, Rose's secretary takes the wishing stars that Bede has collected thus far and he's taken away. Charimen Rose says his piece about playing fair and what not then leaves (I admitdely wan't paying attention).
Sonia and I are left behind and Sonia mentions that Bede has no family and was fighting fo rRose's sakeand I really don't care,
he's still a butthole so- and she hopes the Mural survived
when- *insert clip of Mural here* Secrets. Sonia and I bounce ideas
off of each other that it wasn't two people that saved Galar as we
had originally thought, but two Pokemon wielding a sword and shield
just like people. Wait, so are we saying that a pokemon IS the
sword and the other is the shield? I guess so.
4/7/2021
On to Ballonlea, but first through Glimmwood Tangle!
Zella and Ace went on a murder spree, annihilating all of the fairy types we encountered as we ground for lvls (after catching a Passimian (Thanks Bolt for not killing it with Bite) and getting a Sinitea viva curry encounter)
We finally arrive in Ballonlea, now it's time to explore.
4/8/2021
After exploring some houses we head straight into the fairy gym. Opal's gym challenge is much different than the others, hers doubles as an audition for her replacement, so we'll be asked questions. Every right answer gives out pokemon a random boost while a wrong answer reduces a stat a little. I had Zella and Ace on my team so we should be able to sweep Opal's fairy gym. Easy enough, right?
The three gym trainers come one right after the other without any breaks, and Zella lives up to everything I expected of her and more, she snipes everyone one of the gym trainers' pokemon taking no damage. What a pro! We take out Opal's first two Pokemon no sweat but then her Mawile came out, Mawile is a fairy/steel type, which means that Zella's Cross Poison won't even make dent in it. Alright, new plan, we're just spamming fly.
We do decent damage up until Opal's Mawile crunches Zella a tad bit too hard and lands her in the red. Okay Ace, you need to tank some damage until I can safely switch Zella back in, thanks. After healing Zella Ace manages to finish off the Mawile with Air Slash. Switching back to Zella to take care of Opal's Gmax Alcream and Zella slices through it with a KO, just like I expected her to, and badge number 5 is ours! Good girl!
After switching Kaila for Cheri we make our way out of the gym and Opal follows us out, asking if we want to accompany her to Hammerlocke (I mean we have to go that way but okay-). And guess who we run into? That's right, Bede. Serves you right for being a douche to the Stow-and-Slide mural you- *insert video clips of Bede on Hammerlocke here*
Wait, what duck just happened?? . . . As we start to process what just happened with Bede there's an explosion near the power plant but we can't go investigate because Sonia and Leon got that covered. I guess we're going to route 7 to fight Hop again now.
Zella two shots Hop's Treevant, Bolt two shots his double with Crunch. When the Snorlax comes in I send Cheri out just to get a feel of her move set, then the snorlax starts to stockpile. I counter with Sunny day, Leech Seed, and Petal Blizard. After a bit of work Cheri's able to finally knock out the Snorlax with Leech Seed. Nice work! Reaper two shots Hop's Heatmore with Dark pulse. Then finally the starters come out to play. Babs thanks to Cheri's Sunny Day one shots Hop's Rillaboom with Pyro ball. (ya love to see it~)
As a thanks for battling, Hop heals up our team and off we go! I battle a few trainers and caught me a Contrary Inkay (Meggy). Route 8 is next and we catch a female Pawniward(Slash).
On route 8 we catch a female Pawniward (Slash).
4/9/2021
Cheri and Ace get to take down some trainers for much-needed grinding on Cheri's behafe. But it's okay as Cheri was able to cancel out a Hipodown's sand stream with Sunny day and win the day. We got this.
Cheri and I also visit and Eevee/Eeveelotion camp *insert clip here* and I am in heaven! we stay for a while enjoying the downtime as we play with the Eeveelotions and Cheri, make some curry and then head out again to our destination.
This time to route 8 Steamdrift Way.
Now, this was a bit tricky as it was a new area but it was still labeled as Route 8 with Steamdrift Way being titled below it. Thanks to the user Calum I was able to sort some things out. The only two Pokemon that I could see at the moment were Snom and Snorunt. Alright, to be fair I know a bit about Snorunt from Platinum but not much on Snom. Random grass encounter it is! *Insert clip here* Alright, I guess I'll take a Snover, now get in the box Winter.
We finally arrive in Circhester and the first thing I do is go heal my team and then explore. While inside the restaurant I notice something vaguely familiar hiding in the back *insert clip here.* Wait, isn't that. . .never mind.
We go and check out the Ionia hotels because some of the people in there have stuff to give out, but more are just chilling. Then there's this guy named Howses who's trying to investigate missing berries and he's holding three people hostage and accused the dancer because she needs the energy from dancing so much, but turns out its just this boy's skevowet being typical berry horder. We did get a Wide lens out of it so that was fun. And- oh god. *insert room full of Pikachus here* eyetwich WHY?
I also stop at the boutique and update my look and headed to route 9 where I caught Mary the Mareanie and trained with my team a bit more, mainly Leaf the Leafeon, Cheri the Cherrib, and Poiesdion the Quagsire.
After some final preparations, I felt that it was finally time to face off against Gordie. Going inside I run into Hop, who lost to Gordie. He does blame his own plans as he's followed what Lee did, but everyone knows what works for one person might not work for another. He goes off to train and this is it. Here we go.
*Insert video about the gym challenge here* Oh boy. On the plus side once you make it they show you where the pitfalls were if you didn't uncover them yourself. Patience is literally a virtue for this gym if you don't want to fall into any holes. Actually, Patience is a virtue for life in general.
Gordie starts with his Barbaracle, which Leaf KOs with Magical Leaf. One down, three left. When Gordie sends out his Shuckle I legit froze trying to figure out the best way to counter this pest. Uhhh, Poisdeon you got this? *Determined Quagsire noises* Alright, go get him. I put the Shuckle to sleep with Yawn to prevent any serious damage being done to Poseidon, then quickly healed him while Gordie was trying and failing on waking his shuckle, then Killed it with Muddy Water. Alright, in the clear. What's next, Stonjourner? Go get him, Cheri! Cheri two shots it with Petal Blizzard but it's okay, she's not dead so we can deal with the stealth rock.
When Gordie's Coalossal came out I send Poseidon back in to deal with it. Gmax Coalossal is scary as shiz, so I dyanamaxed Poseidon and used Max Gazer to hopefully deal a decent amount of damage if not KO it. And he did it, I don't know how but he managed to KO Gordie's Gmax Coalossal. 6th gym badge is ours!
4/10/2021
Heading out of the gym we run into Sonia who invites us over to the restaurant "Bobs's Your Uncle" where we meet up with Hop again, discuss the last tapestry that we found earlier, and after our meal we head over to the Hero's Bath where Hop and I have a battle which I win.
Now we're off to Route 9.
And Team Yell is harassing a poor Drednaw. Welp, here we go again. We win, no big surprise, but they grow half a brain cell and ride off on Drednaw before I can. This leaves the guy from earlier to help and give us a bike update for "water mode" which allows us to ride on the water. See ya Team Yell! I also caught myself Agent 8 the Clobbopus on Route 9 and Davy Jones the Dhelmise on Route 9 Circhester bay. I also caught Perry the Perrserker on Route 9 Outer Spikemuth.
After some training against wild Pokemon outside of Circhester and a bit of camping Agent, 8 evolved into a Grapploct. Aww, look at you, so cool and tough-looking- *gets slapped* ow.
4/11/2021
We finally arrive in Spikemulth and. . .it's been blocked off, someone had closed it off so we can't just go straight in. I'm susing Team Yell. Marine though calls out to us and shows us another way in, that is, she will if we can beat her. Lucky and Cater take out most of her team pretty easily while Agent 8 came in and finished off the Morpeko. Hurrah for teamwork! Walking into Spikemulth I heal up my team and finally make my way to take on Piers, the gym leader and the head honcho of Team Yell.
I had Cater leading the pack with Lucky and Agent 8 on deck in case I need to switch or if things got super dicey. Poseidon was there to help me take out Piers' Skuntank in case Cater, Lucky or Agent 8 couldn't take it out. Ace and Babs weren't as vital, but if things got scary they were there, Babs to hopefully outspeed and Ace to tank hits if needed.
I had a general plan as well: I'd start with Cater and spam Quiver Dance unit it was maxed out to take out Piers' Scrafty and Malmar, then swap for Poseidon when the Skuntank came out, and have Lucky finish off the Obstagoon.
Cater is a stone-cold killer, KOing Team Yells' pokemon with Bug Buzz. All of them.that's my boy There's also a Detective
Pikachu reference- *insert clip here* At the end o the "Gym" Cater
and Agent 8 carry their weight and wipe out Team Yell's pokemon
with no issues. Alright, time for Piers.
Piers starts off with his Scrafty, I change from my plan last moment and send Poseidon out and put it to sleep with a yawn followed by Icy Wind to slow it some. Once it's sleeping I swap for Cater, who gets in one Quiver dance before Scrafty wakes up and hits hard with Payback. Cater is faster and hits it with Air slash, killing it. Piers sends in Malmar, which quickly dies to Cater's Bug Buzz. When Piers sends out is Obstagoon I swap for Agent 8, who kills it with Brick break. The last Pokemon is his Skuntank, hey Ace, I know you're not a ground type, but you wanna do me a favor and stall while I heal up Poseidon? *Corvknight noises* Alright, got get it. Ace stalls until I get Poseidon healed up. I put the Skuntank to sleep as well before spamming Bulldoze, and badge number seven is ours!
Something bad, really bad then happens on route 9, even Leon got involved.Being forced out- Heading out there's an explosion
or something. We do try to help Leon but he's got it covered and
reminds us to win the Gym Challange, and speaking of which we only
have one gym left, Raihan the Dragon gym. *instant feeling of
dread* After insisting that he'll keep us safe he heads towards the
danger and we go to heal our team-oh wait, they're already healed.
Never mind I guess we're going into the thick of it.
As we weave through the crowd we overhear something about a wild Pokemon dynamaxing? *insert clip here* Oh boy, that can't be good. After exiting the tunnel we run into Hop on Route 7 and he expresses his concerns and explains the situation. *Insert the clip here*
We eventually arrive in Hammerlocke where Hop waves us over to Sonia prasing Leon for taking down the dyanamax Pokemon.
4/12/2021 - 4/13/2021
Spent the day grinding to get my team higher.
4/14/2021
My planned team was Alright: this is my planned Team for Riahan:
(Shelly) Lapras: Confuse Ray, Water Pulse, Ice Shard, Mist
(Ribbon) Sylveon: Draining Kiss, Disarming Voice, Quick Attack, Helping Hand
(Harmonia) Altaria: Fly, Ice Beam, Dragon Breath, Perish Song
(Marriland) Vaporeon: Ice beam, Water Pulse, Acid Armor, Aqua Ring
(Dray) Flygon: Earthquake, Rock Slide, Bug Buzz, Dragon Claw
(Poseidon) Quagsire: Muddy Water, Ice Beam, Earthquake, Yawn.
Deep breath in, out. Okay, here we go.
Raihan's gym challenge isn't really much of a challenge aside from the fact it's a double battle. The first trainer within the gym challenge was easy, Ribbon stole the show and killed them with Disarming Voice while Shelly confused them. One down and two to go.
The next gym trainer has a Nintails and a Tur. . Turtonator. . .the f*ck is that? Oh. . . a fire/dargon. Okay? Again Ribbon spams Disarming voice and halfway through the fight I swap Shelly for Dray just for the sake of standing in. I swap Ribbon for Harmonia when Dray finishes off the Nintails with Earthquake. Two down, one left.
The last trainer has Abomasnow and Hakamo-o. Sh*t I didn't plan for the Abombasnow's Snow warning. Okay. . .uh. . .Marriland, you got the goggles get out here! Marriland and Shelly team up to take out the Hakamo-o with Ice shard and Ice Beam respectively, but the Abomasnow hit hard. It nearly killed Shelly with Razor leaf while Marriland was shielded by Shelly. Quickly taking that stroke of luck I swapped Shelly for Harmonia and had her fly up to hit it as hard as she could, and she Koed it. What a girl!
Now it was Raihan's turn. He also hosts a double battle and uses weather to his advantage. I send Poseidon and Marriland to take out his Flygon and Gigalith. Poseidon 2 shots the Flygon with Ice beam while Marriland is able to endure a thunder punch from the Flygon and confuses the Gigalith with water pulse. And then it knocks itself out. Easy two wins. Now comes the big hurdle; his Silacobra and Duraludon that he Gmaxes. I immediately have Poseidon use yawn on this Duraludon to minimize the damage and focus on taking out the Silicobra. Then I dynamax Marriland and killed the Silicobra with max Gyser. Because Marriland took a pretty hard Gmax Depeltion from Raihan's Duraloudon I had to sacrifice Poseidon's turn to heal Marriland to keep him alive, because Marriland was set on Ice beaming him (Also Mairriland is faster the Poseidon so-).
But is Duraloudon was persistent and hit Marriland with Gmax Rockfall, which again knocked Marriland in the yellow, he then fell asleep. So AGAIN I had to sacrifice Poseidon's turn to heal Marriland to keep him alive, but we're fine. Becuase Marriland killed it. And gym badge number 8 is mine! No deaths thus far, let's keep this good luck streak rolling!
Sonia and her grandmother meet me outside the gym and the three of us have a good discussion about the incident of the dynamaxing wild pokemon. (Welcome to Game theroy-) Acroding to Magnoila, the
wishing stars that fall are the main reason Pokemon can dynamax and
gigantamax, despite this there hasn't been a way to fully control
that power and no one is sure how the two heroes, whatever they
were, managed to do so. There's then a touching moment where
Magnoila give Sonia her lab coat and it's off to Wyndon with
me!
Hop meets up with me at the station having already beaten Raihan (somehow) which the latter confirms. (insert clips of train here)
On Route 10 I catch myself a Klang (Gearlo) and camp for a while because I realized that I had sent Babs on a Pokejob for EXP purposes while I was battling Raihan. . .and I wasn't going to get her back until 2:45ish the next afternoon. Great.
4/15/2021
Got Babs back! After exploring Wyndon for a bit we charge straight into teh thick of the semi finals. First up is Marine Zella snipes both the Lipard and Scrafty with Leach Life and Fly respsectvly, Posideon sniped her Toxicroak, but her Morpecko caused a bit of an issue. . . (insert clip here) but he survived and killed it with Earthquake. Zella makes short work of Marine's Gmaxed Grimsnarl and we win.
Then it's down to the fight everyone was waiting for: Hop and me. Where everything began, both of us are gunning to make it to the top, and one of the few hurdles in the way is the other. I was confident in my team, we can do this. Hop sends out his Dubwool but Zella crit kills it with Fly even after it uses Cotton guard and Poseidon KOs his Pincurchin with Earthquake.
I was a bit nervous when Hop sent out his Snorlax to take on Reaper, but Reaper was a mad lad. Despite the back and forth pace and Hop using a full restore, he kills Hop's Snorlax with Dark pulse and kept avoiding Hammer arm. I was half waiting for him to get hit but he never did! Hop's Snorlax kept spamming Heavy Slam and Hammer arm, but in the end, the Snorlax killed itself on Reaper's Rocky Helmet. Needless to say, I'm so proud and gave him all the cuddles after the fight. What a pro!
Bolt's Thunder Fang makes quick work of Hop's Corvknight, then it's down to Babs and Rillaboom. The two starters where our journey began. After we both Dynamax Babs one-shots it with Max fire and it's over. . .we won the semi-finals.
Hop and I leave the stadium pitch to find a bunch o people waiting for us in the lobby, including Leon. He goes on singing praises for the both of us and mentions about how the match left him in tears and how he's going to have to throw everything at us to win. Leon then offers to take us out to get some food - wait? DID HE SAY FOOD! LET'S GO!
Hop and I return to the hotel first to rest a bit but then I get bombarded by the news crew and they're like vultures and swarming me for answers. *insert clip here* Hop steps in and basically tells them to step off, and they leave. Several hours later we're still waiting for him and he hasn't shown up. Huh, strange. It's not like him to show us up like this. Hop gets the feeling that something isn't right as Leon's never this late and always does what he says he'll do. Piers then sulks in making a comment about how noisy Hop is. Hop counters that he's really worried and makes a smart comment about Piers' appearance (I wan't fully paying attention.), Piers counters that by saying that it's no wonder he lost to me. He then mentions that Leon was headed to Rose Tower, he knows because he ran into Leon a the monorail platform, why is Leon there? Because he had to do something and he would be late.
After some confusion looking at each other as we try to figure out why he'd be there this late, Hop asks Piers to take us there. And Piers does for more then one reason, then says he'll invite Team yell. Okay. . . cool I guess? Marine also gets dragged along with us which I really don't mind. Then Oleanna shows up explaining that Leon's in a "very important business meeting" with Rose and she isn't letting anyone get in the way. She even points out at only authorized personnel with the proper key can ride the monorail to the Rose tower, so no one can bother him. To ensure this she selected a few league staff members and gave them a key. The guys runs off somewhere and we have to chase him down three times and fight him each time in order to get the key. But also each time at the end of the first turn of each battle, Babs and Poseidon get a two-stage boost in its Speed; Defense and Special Defense; and Attack and Special Attack, respectively.
Needless to say, Babs and Poseidon makes quick work of him.
In the end, he does run away again but this time we corner him at the monorail station where Piers puts on a show which fits as a distraction and draws in a large crowd, using this distraction Marine gets the key needed to ride the Monorail to the Rose tower. Marine stays behind to help Piers which leaves Hop and I to take on getting to Leon. We enter only for one of Marco Csomos' members to again get in the way. Ace makes short work of him and his Durant. We make it inside the elevator, only now comes the hard part, we have to fight our way to the top. We wicked never rest I guess.
But hey, at least Hop is nice enough to heal our team after every battle. I forgot how real Sword and Sheild gets at times. I'm at Rose's tower ane the one Marcos worker's like "You're now 500 ft above the ground" and the other's like "I'm from MC Insurance! Do you have a life insurance policy?" (insert screenshot) STOP GETTING REAL ON ME!
We finally make it to the top and Oleana's waiting for us. And she is piiiiiiiiiiiiiissed. Like really pissed. (insert clip) And she's coming after me. Welp. Hop, you make a break for it and I'll distract her. Go! Wanna go b*tch? Let's f*cking go!
She first sends out her Frostlass, which Babs kills after missing it the first time with Pyro ball, but it's fine we're okay. She then sends out her Miltic, which Bolt just electrocutes with Thunder Fang. Next up is Slazzle, which Poseidon kills with Earthquake. Next is. . .Tsareena. . .oh yeah I know that one, the tsundere grass type right? Zella two shots it with Cross poison. Finally, it's Gabaoar (wait, YOU'RE TELLING ME THIS GARBAGE POKEMON MADE IT IN AND NOWT MAGNIMITE OR CASTFORM?!?) and It's Gmax time. The moron AI uses Gmax Rockfall which to be fair is super effective against dynamaxed Ace, but when the Sandstrom starts up the jokes on Oleana because Ace is immune as she's Flying/Steel. Ace spams Max Steelspike and the sand storm knocks out the Gaboar. Who's the moron now?
Its now that she spills the beans about all the wishing stars they need are collected so there's nothing we can do. . .I'm sorry what? Neither of us said anything about wishing stars, and Hop gives us some praise. We find Rose and Leon in the middle of a discussion about. . .something big enough that the tournament might have to be canceled to solve the issue that's a thousand years away. Rose explains that all the energy being used to power Galar is running out and within a millennium from now it'll be completely gone,(How about solar power? They did that in Sinnoh's Sunny Shore
City.) and how what Galar wants now doesn't even matter
considering how the "people of Galar today" won't even exist
without the energy and how the future is so important we need to
act asap because it's more important than just one day. "We must
take action in order to avert tragedy! So that all can look forward
to a better future!" Okay drama king, if it's that important
just move over to solar power! Leon is basically done with Rose
at this point and promises to help after tomorrow's match is
over.
Hop and I interrupt and Hop expresses his worry about Leon due to his delay. Rose does apologize and says sometimes adults just can't have an honest discussion with each other because of pride. Leon assures us that it's not a big deal and he insists that we head back to the hotel to get food, his treat. (Now you're talking Leon!) But yet. . .why do I get the feeling that something worse is brewing? (insert clip here)
The next evening we prepare and Hop nearly sicks his Rillaboom on a Leauge member for trying to escort me when Hop is having a conversation with me, oh wait no, he thinks she's one of Oleana's members. But thankfully she's not, she's legit. So on we go to the stadium.
4/16/2021
Now's the final test, in order to get to Leon we have to face the gym leaders once again which consist of three rounds in a single-elimination tournament. I completely forgot who's first, it's Nessa, right?
After Leon gives the opening speech, our long pulled Rival Bede decked in the Fairy gym's clothing shows up and demands one last fight in an attempt to even the score after pouring his heart out about everything he's been through. Alright, fine.
Out comes his Mawlie and I swap Ace for Babs, and she snipes it with crit Pyro ball. Ace snipes his Gardevoir and Galarian Rapidash with Steel Wing. Zella gets to dynamax to take out Bede's Gmaxed Hatterene with Max Ooze, almost one-shotting it, but a second one finishes it off. And Bede's done, but at least he's more chill now. The crowd cheers on Bede to not cancel his career, just rather restart.
Now to Nessa! Bolt wipes out Nessa's with Glissopod, Barasakewda, Seaking, and Pelipper Thunder Fang. When it comes down to her Gmaxed Drednaw, my Dynamaxed Leaf one-shots it with Max Overgrowth. My god, she was one level lower but she still pulled it off, that's my girl.
*insert screenshot here* According to the charts, we now have to go up against Bea. Bea sends out her Hawlucha and Ace knocks it out with Fly after it misses the second Hi Jump kick.serves it
right- When she sends out her Falinks gives Ace a bit of
trouble including almost killing her with a rock slide followed by
Close combat, *insert clip here* but Ace hangs in there and knocks
it out with Fly. Good girl, now get back in your ball and stop
scaring me like that. I swap for Zella and she gets her revenge for
her best friend Ace by killing Bea's Grapploct and Sirfetch'd with
Fly, absolutely slaughters them. Kaila gets a taste of Dynamaxing
to take out Bea's Gmaxed Machamp (even after Bea used a full
restore when we had her cornered). Another one down.
*Insert screenshot here* Alright, who's next? . . .fuck it's Raihan. This might be the end of the line if I don't come up with a good counter team and start playing aggressively. After doing some final preparations I step out and get ready to face Raihan. This is going to be a doozy.
Raihan sends out a Torkoal, which I counter with Poseidon. I nearly lost Poseidon to his Torkoal's sun-powered critical hit SolarBeam. He held on to that last HP for me so it could lull it to sleep with Yawn. Effing respect for him. Using that string of luck I swap for Ace who endures the last Solar Beam from it before it falls asleep. I used the boughten time to heal Poseidon back to full health and swap back, use earthquake. The Torkoal's still sleeping when the sun fades by this point so I finish it off with Muddy Water even though Raihan does try to save it with a full restore. If that's not a win from behind, then I don't know what is. I also put his Flygon to sleep after it summons a sandstorm then swap to Ace to avoid the Flygon's Earthquake (Called it!) then swap back to Poseidon to Ice Beam it. Poseidon Icebeams his Goodra then yawns. You fool, you think a little rain is going to hurt Poseidon? Ha! What a joke. Poseidon Ice beams it to death, two left. Poseidon nearly Kos the Turtonator with Muddy water, but a second one does the trick. Screw your Shell trap, Muddy water isn't a physical move.
Now here comes the scary Gmaxed Duraludon, Posiddon puts it to sleep then endures the next turn. Then out comes Harmonia, and she uses Perish Song to make Raihan sweat a little then swap for Babs and Dynamax her for her to use Max Knuckle then Max guard to counter Stone Edge. Victory is mine!
*Insert screenshot here* Now for the match everyone's waiting for: Leon. Hop comes by backstage (I guess?) to wish me luck and to beat him for the both of us. You bet I will do my best. I walk out, ready to end this Nuzlock, preferably on a high note. We lock eyes, but before we can start-
*Insert clips here*
So with everything being said and done, Hop meets up with Leon and I within the little walkway within the Wyndon stadium and remarks that the video feed was from Hammerlocke's stadium, which Leon admits to being unsure of that as well as yesterday's conversation leading up today's stunt to solve a problem that's to occur a thousand years from now. Leon then proclaims that he needs to check it out all the while feeling slightly guilty about not realizing that this would happen before it did, and because of that he's going to take responsibility and fix it.
Hop insists that we need to help Leon somehow stopping Darkest Day, the then recalls Darkest Day which we also heard about in Motostoke with the statue, and the heroes had stopped Darkest Day with a sword and shield (which made or may not be a Pokemon). We both are to start our search where it all started: Slumbering Weald, the same place where we encountered the illusion pokemon while searching for the Wooloo.
So that's where we go. Sonia's there, and as she questions why Hop and I are here, my mother shows up and fills her in that the tournament's off because of Darkest Day being started up due to Rose, she then hopes that Leon will take care of it. . .right? Mom then asks why I'm here, "I'm here to stop Darkest Day!" Sonia then questions if she means that I'm finding the Sword and Sheild Pokemon and promises to catch up with us after she looks into something. Off Hop and I go. *Insert clip here*
As we make our way Hop recalls the day we were searching for the Wooloo and wonders if that was the start of our "legendary beginning" as he calls it. (Side note I quick balled a Grubbin (Grubbo) in the first part of Slumbering Weald)
The fog only gets worse as we go but our perseverance pulls off and we do see them again. It almost consumes us just after we meet them and when it backs off they're gone. Sonia meets up with us and when hop asks if Sonia saw what had just happened she didn't. Hop does question if they were illusion again and Sonia has some interesting tidbits from history of other religions: The Sword Pokemon is Zacian and the Shield Pokemon is Zamazenta, both were born somewhere past Slumbering Weald a long a$$ time ago. That being said we keep going.
Sure enough, just after crossing a bridge, we stumble upon a ruined shrine of sorts. *Insert clip here* Honestly it looks like something of a fairy tail of sorts or something, just amazing and beautiful with a side of mystery. And sure enough, a sword and a shield are there, they're rusted and old, but after all these years. . .these have to be it right? I take the sword and Hop after making a remark about how old and worn they are takes the shield, now it's time to help Leon. And now it's off to Hammerlocke's Stadium.
After crawling out of Slumbering Weald we fly to Hammerlocke where Raihan is already outsideI mean this is his gym so- Raihan
is a bit upset for us but is also clueless as to how Rose's plan is
going to work trust me, we all are, I still say Solar power is
best. Hop runs off to help Leon leaving Raihan and myself
behind. Raihan explained that he as well as the other Gym leaders
along with the city's pokemon have gotten everyone else to safety.
And where does that leave me? Going to save Galar or lose trying.
Raihan cracks a light joke almost feeling sorry for Darkest Day as
three threats are going to stop it.
We get inside and. . .oh great, Oleana's here, but she seems antsy. when she sees us she begs us for our help with her pokemon which dynamaxed and started running around making chaos in the gym. Raihan did take care of it but she's more concerned about other pokemon following suit, this also means the the the underground power plant would collapse which would be really bad as Rose is still inside. And you know you could've prevented this? BY NOT
HELPING ROSE IN HIS PLAN!! She begs me to stop Rose, who woke
up Eternatus, this is bad as the energy from its body is allowing
Pokemon to Dynamax which will make them go berserk.
Alright, stand aside, I got this.
After taking the lift we get a full view of the aftermath Rose made of his machines while trying to create Darkest Day. He does question what I'm doing and when I tell him I'm going to stop Darkest Day, he kinda just laughs in my face insisting that I'm much too late. He tryies to right his actions by explaining that he's doing this for Galra's future by giving it everlasting energy to preserve its future which is his destiny, which in my eyes looks really badI'll say it again, SOLAR POWER!
Oh no. Rose went and poked the big dragon, and I say that I mean we woke Eternatus early from his nap viva the wishing stars Bede collected and p*ssed it off. And all that red light that caused the wild pokemon to Dynamax was just an experiment on his behave to awaken Eternatus and how he can't let me interfere. Congrats Rose, you get the biggest moron of the world award.
(Quick note, can we just admit how cool Rose's fight theme is?) Rose sends out his Escaliver, which I swap Reaper for Ace and take it out with Fly. Babs makes short work of his Klinglang, Ferrothron, Perrserker, and his Gmaxed Copperjaja.
Afterwards Rose commerates us for beating him, clearly slightly nostalgic about battling, and while he does seem slightly regretful for what he's doing, he still stands by his actions to save Galar's future. SOLAR POWER! USE SOLAR POWER YOU MORON-
With that out of the way we go up and Leon's dealing with Enternaus, after attempting to catch Enternuas in a Pokeball and failing miserably, it breaks out and comes straight to me. Thankfully Poseidon puts it to sleep and then earhtqueakes it. But we ain't done yet. We did beat it, but it suddenly Eternamax which is much worse the Gmaxing. Hop joins in and we make an attempt to take it down, but we cant move at all *insert clips here* Suddenly, Hop recalls the Sword and Sheild, and seeing no other way out we hold them high. . .
*insert clips here*
The battle was hard foughten and Hop's Dubwool ends up dying to do so, but finally in the end we caught Enternuas in a Luxery ball (garuenteed catch) and I named him Big boy.fight me-
Three (in game time skip) days later, the final match starts up again and I had taken those three days to bond with Big boy, he's not al that bad, it was just pissed off that Rose woke it up form his nap. I can relate. I over hear that Rose turned himself in to the proper athourites for his actions and Leon's still itching for our battle. And who am I to disappoint.
We meet Leon on the Wyndon stateium field, and this time there are no distractions to interrupt. It's time to end this. *Insert clips here*
4/17/2021
Leon sends out his Aegislash and Reaper spams Sand attack and Dark Pulse until we knock it out. I counter Leon's Haxorus with Poseidon's Ice Beam, nearly dying to OUtrage, which I call out Reaper to finish the job. Repaer takes out Leon's Dragpualt with Dark Pulse while I heal up Poseidon. Babs Pyro Balls Leon's Mr. Rime, or ties to, but misses then gets hit with Teeter Dance. Despit the confusion Babs hits it on teh second turn and kills it. Leaf takes out Inteleon with critical hit Leaf Blade.
Then comes Leon's Charizard. I was nervous for Charizard as there was on concrete way to counter it, I di however have a plan. I had trained lots with Big Boy and made sure it knew Dynamax Cannon. Dynamax Cannon is a dragon type move that has 5 PP and deals 2X damage to dragon types and any Pokemon that's dynamaxed/Gigantamaxed. My plan was to spam Dynamax Cannon on Leon's Charizard while it was Gigantamaxed and take it out. The only problem was Charizard has Aincent Power wich turns to Gmax Rockfall, which Big Boy is Weak to.
However, luck was on my side and we were able to two shot Leon's Charizard with Dynamax Cannon and. . .we did it. We won. However, even as Leon's singing priases for my win, I get this feeling, this really bad gut feeling. . .like something bad is going to happen, but the only problem is. . .I don't know what.
MAIN GAMEPLAY COMPETE! Time: 1 moth and 1 day, 0 deaths.
* Babs criti hit Hop's Garoky with Ember and burned it, almost a KO!
* Beat Hop! Babs lvled up to seven and learned ember
After the battle, I was about to head back to the house when Hop and I both heard the crash, and guess what? That Wooloo tackling the fence was gone.
Eventually, we return home and tell mom that we're off on a journey and mom gives us some money and tells Babs to look after us
* Received Singing Pikachu gift (not to use, but just to have for the Pokedex.
*received a potion from a random dude who loves to give people things!
Oh yeah, then Hop basically tells us things we already know.
I then browsed along in the boutique for awhile and finally settled on a white zip hoodie and blue denim pants. I then went to the changing room and removed my parka and hat. There! Now I'm looking fresh!
*Found a revive!
I did some grinding because Cater was still lvl four while the other two were near lvl 10, eventually I got Cater to evolve into a Metapod
*Found 2 potions and some pokeballs
Hope and I then return to Wedgehurst station and our parents give us some camping gear
Anyway, I switched between Cater and Bolt at first, Cater both tackling and string shotting it while Bolt paralyzed it with Nuzzle then spamming Swift

AND WE FINALLY MAKE IT TO MOTOSTOKE!
And then Sonia shows up just as I'm about to explore
3/22/2021:
We head inside to find Sonyia looking at a stature of a guy holding asword and shield, though she claims to be doing research for the pokemon that are said to be Slumber Weald and teh legends surrounding Galar
"Long ago. . .a great black storm covered the Galar region.
Cue Hop saying that the hero must've bene as strong as Leon,
Afterwards Hop and I check into the Budew in for the night, or try to be cause there's these people in the way, Team Yell someone calls them. Their excuse is they want to cheer on the Gym challengers, or more so one in particular. In order to get them to back off we have to fight them. So we do
The next morning, Hop is already down in the lobby practicing his throw
I was thinking of catching a Timbur, but someone in the Pokemon Challenges Discord Server recommended Drilbur instead, so I'll have to hunt for that later.
During a fight with Worker Russel, Kaila nailed a critical hit with Confusion and knocked out his Rolycoly
After a bit more grinding I ended up finding a shiny Galarina Meowth (that I'm perma PCing) and. . . (insert video here) Snowflake ended up killing it instead.
THAT'S IT! I'M DONE FOR TODAY!
3/24/2021
After much grinding Kaila evolved into a Kirla
I then send out Zella to Air slash the opposing Oddish and she knocks it out with a Critical hit.
Wait, what do you mean Pokemon from Sword/Shield don't get EXP from the Pokeball Plus!?
On Route 5 we encounter a newscasting duo that Bolt and Poisidon take out without much trouble. I also got our Magikarp encounter since we ended up killing one in the Wild area. After a battle with a breeder Zella evolved into a Golbat
As we make our way to Hulbery we encounter a doctor
Crossing half way the bridge Hop is waiting for me again to fight.
Yep, he just shocked the hell out of them.
The chairman's secretary reminds us of the dinner *date*
Next route! Galar Mine 2.
Hop and I explore Galar Mine 2
And Hop's Wooloo.
4/2/2021
Thanks to a user named Charbar on Discord I was able to catch the shiny Azumarill den event for Easter and I do plan on using it at some point.
Oh yeah, Kiala and Lucky evolved.
Heading out to route 6 there's two Yell Grunts monitoring a sleeping Silicobra
After the two Yell grunts flee for fear of the Silacobra waking up and attacking, Hop finally explains his slump. Bede basically kicked his behind the battle and even though Hop admits he can take a loss, but it was the comment about dragging Leon's name down being as bad as Hop was that really got to him. He leaves to clear his head and the Silicobra goes on its merry way.
After the somewhat tender conversation, Opal shows up randomly, and apparently, she watched our fight and wants to see me go full out. . .alright, not creepy at all.
4/3/2021 - 4/5/2021
[spoiler]Caught a Helioptile (
Later on, I nearly lost Kaila to a Dugtrio's Final Gambit, she merceily survived on 15 HP.
After a bit of grinding Babs Evolved into a Cinderance
Sonia and I are left behind and Sonia mentions that Bede has no family and was fighting fo rRose's sake
All of them.
Something bad, really bad then happens on route 9, even Leon got involved.
Hop meets up with me at the station having already beaten Raihan (somehow) which the latter confirms.
Rose explains that all the energy being used to power Galar is running out and within a millennium from now it'll be completely gone,
Hop and I interrupt and Hop expresses his worry about Leon due to his delay.
Bea sends out her Hawlucha and Ace knocks it out with Fly after it misses the second Hi Jump kick.
After crawling out of Slumbering Weald we fly to Hammerlocke where Raihan is already outside
He tryies to right his actions by explaining that he's doing this for Galra's future by giving it everlasting energy to preserve its future which is his destiny, which in my eyes looks really bad
Hop joins in and we make an attempt to take it down, but we cant move at all *insert clips here* Suddenly, Hop recalls the Sword and Sheild, and seeing no other way out we hold them high. . .
*insert clips here*
The battle was hard foughten and Hop's Dubwool ends up dying to do so, but finally in the end we caught Enternuas in a Luxery ball (garuenteed catch) and I named him Big boy.

It's been about two days after I beat
Leon, which means I'm now the champion. I haven't seen or heard
anything from Zacian or Zamazenta. I decide to follow the dream. .
.or vision. . .whatever it was and return the Rusted Sword where it
properly belongs. Magnoila drops by to deliver a Master Ball and
talk about how the wishing stars may've actually been apart of Big
Boy, hence the dynamaxing.
When I arrive in the heart of Slumbering Weald, Hop's already there, he explains that he's there because he too was called here by something, then we have a battle which I win. Afterwards, Sonia shows up, gives just he good news that she's now a professor, gives us a book she wrote on Galar's history about the legends, then advises us to return the rusted sword and shield where they belong, which is fair. I mean we havne't seen Zacidan or Zamazenta let alone needed to use them again since Rose triggered Darkest Day.
So we do and Hop gives thanks for the both of us, but then we run into a little snag- *Insert clip here*
Alright, I guess we're fighting again.
Sordward sends out his Sirfectch'd, which I swap Reaper for Ace, who knocks it out with Fly along with his Golisopod while Babs takes out his Bisharp and Doublade with Pyro ball. In other words, we make quick work of him and get the Sword back. Hop on the other hand. . .loses to his brother Shielbert and they escape with the sheid. Welp, looks like we gotta follow them.
But first, we get a Gmaxable Charmander (Charcoal) from Leon that he left for us in his room to take care of, and Sonia wants us to meet her at the lab. Much to our surprise Sonia has an assatnat (who I don't trust, she seems sketchy-). Anyway, Sonia shows me a large device that helps measure high concentration of Galar particles which spike when found. Sonia had noticed it had spiked when the brothers had gotten near us. Using that to our advantage Sonia gets the idea to use the Power Spot Detector to find them. *insert clip here* Found them! Sonia even confirms tha twhile we were able to dynamax at tuffeild statium, the readings were much higher than normal.
We arrive at Tuffeild's tatium where Milo is talking to Piers. Apparently during a match between the two a wild dynamax pokemon interrupted, thankfully everyone is safely taken shelter. Turns uo Hop had helped too! Nice work! There's some discussion and we all agree to team up to take it down, or at least return it to its normal size. Babs dynamaxed and took care of it. . .mostly.
Afterwards we group up again and discuss. Hop points out that there was no trainer to help the Tsareena dynamax and it barely contained the power on its own. Milo confirms this saying that a pokemon need a dynamax band to dynamax or gigantamax. Then guess who decides to show up? That's right, the two brothers, they proclaim their experiment was a success. And they're going to do it again to even stronger Pokemon, they're gunning for Zacian and Zamazenta to reveal their true nature by forcing them to dynamax. Before we can stop them they run off. Welp, here we go again.
After defending the first three gyms we get a call from Sonia, those f*ckers are back and they're harassing Sonia for the wishing stars that Bede had collected. We go to the lab, bust down the door *Somebody once-* and have a double battle with them along with Hop aiding us and we beat the everliving crap out of them. Unfortunately, the sketchy assistant of Sonia's was actually their helper and needless to say the brothers get the wishing stars anyway and make their escape.
4/18/2021
Things only get worse, Sordward and Sheilbert are in fact forcing more pokemon to dynamax at other gyms. A hero's work is never done. Needless to say Big Boy takes out the dynamax pokemeon at the other gyms like no one's business, double on the dragon type pokemon. *insert clip here* However, when we get to Ballonea Bede has already taken care of it and wants to fight me again. Fine.
Leaf takes out his Mawile with Dig and Ace takes care of the rest of Bede's team. He finally backs off and accepts me as the champion as he sits by to asses his weak points so he can take fairy types to the next level. Yeah, have fun with that. On cue, my room phone rings again, Sonia informs me that Sordward and Sheilbert have forced their way into the Hammerlocke stadium and are headed for the energy plant.
When we get there, Sonia's panicking as the door still won't open, until that is her Yamper helps *insert clip here.* And. . .oh no he's using his charisma skill to make the mob attack us. Greeeeaaaaaaaaat. . .oh wait, he's just using home to guilt trip us. I'm definitely going to enjoy kicking your arse.
Leaf takes out Sordward's Sirfetch'd with two Leaf Blades, Big Boy destroys the Golisopod and Bisharp, and Babs destroys Doublade with Pyro Ball. Job done, step aside bird brain, the Galar champion has a job to do.
We get up to the roof and Shielbert has managed to not only summon Zamazenta, but also load it up on Wishing Stars that it's gone berserk. He does make an attempt to have it attack Galar, but it instead turns on him. Then it turns to me and engages in a battle. Leaf manages to deal decent damage to it with Dig, but after Zamazenta hits her with a critical Play rough, I switch her for Babs and spam bounce and Pyro ball in order to finally defeat it/calm it down.
Afterward Zamazenta seems okay up until Hop tries to reach out to it, only for it to become aggressive again, only this time Zacian saves Hop and manages to calm it down, which causes Zamazenta to run off somewhere. Hop decides to hunt it down and try to help it, takes the shield back from Shielbert, and peaces out. Zacain on the other hand is piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiised, so much so that it tries to attack. *Insert clips here*
Now it's time to catch it. I go to Master ball it and. . .oh sh*t, I left it with one of my pokemon the PC. Uh. . . I guess we're doing this the hard way. . .Now get in the Timer ball! *Insert critical catch clip here* And that's it, Zacian (Blue) is ours now. Sordward and Shielbert and their sketchy assistant go with Piers to atone for their crimes, and after getting a phone call from Hop, Blue and I go check in on him after healing up.
We find Hop with Zamazenta in the heart of Slumbering Weald still trying to calm it down, and eventually, he's successful. As a reward (I guess) Zamazenta allows Hop to capture it and join his team (why didn't you do that for me Blue?). We for the sake of reviving good times, share one last battle, in which everyone on my team proves victories. But Hop's loss gives him strive for a new dream: To become a Pokemon Professor, and he's going to start as Sonia's assistant.
Well, as they say, all's well that ends well.At least until
