Autumn and Aurora were settled into their room as they tried to get comfy in their shared room.

Eve was snuggled into Lilith's lap as the girl dreamed, the dreams were strange. She had been naive to her past ever since she could remember but recently the arena forced her to the grim reality that she was an AI.

The Capital
The situation was pretty grim, her and the other tributes had been taken by the capital for "interrogation" for answers they didn't have.

Melody was humming an upbeat tune, tapping her hand on the side of her knee as she sat in her shared cell with Kanata, but across from Shiloh and Roxy.

Shiloh's gaze remains steady on Melody. Her chipper deminor was like a beacon of light in these dark times. She dreaded the wait. What would become of her? Roxy said something about an interrogation, the thought makes her physically sick to her stomach. But she was backed into a corner, so she could put on a brave face

Melody seeing Shiloh's hopeful gaze made the tween stand and from her came a rich voice as if it had been made just for singing. The tone was upbeat and a bit cheerful.

Derek's fingers were slowly toying across the bars, as if he were plucking the strings of a harp. He sighed heavily, then pushed himself away from the bars and sat against the far wall. "I know we're supposed to be worried and all, but I'm dreadfully bored. There's nothing to do!" It was obvious, of course, but he couldn't help but vocalize it. His hands flopped to his sides with a various set of strange sounds, and he groaned. He was almost acting like a child, much different than what he'd been trying to present himself as in the beginning of all this.

Shiloh laughs. "I'm glad to see that they have yet to take your spirit, keep it up, because that's the only thing that'll motivate you to fight through whatever Hell they unleash upon us" she turns her head to Derek, distracted by the sound his hand makes on the bars. "Bored? Do you have some type of escape plan or something?" Shiloh asks, trying to add in a tone of humor into her voice and failing.

Lilith gently shakes Eve's shoulders, but only a bit, so that she'll wake up and quickly fall back asleep, moving past her nightmare. "Shhh, it's okay, it's just a dream" Lilith whispers. She tries to carefully lift Eve up and carry her to their shared room, hopefully without waking Eve up.

"Maybe. If you walk over here I can whisper the answer to you." He gave he a sly smile, something you might expect from a fox if it could smile. Spinning his legs, he easily launched himself up to a standing position. His smile grew a little. "Promise not to tell the Peacekeepers?" His hands reached out of the bars and rested, limp, and his forehead pressed against the bars as he leaned most of his weight against them. Stepping forwards, he pulled his face away from the bars and stood up straight. "In fact, I do have a plan. But..." His hands gestured vaguely to the cameras around them.

Melody took a small, gracious bow then sat back down. "Thank ya kindly, my mom says that preformin's in my blood."

Eve stirred for a moment as the nightmare passed over but clung to Lillith as the child was carried to the shared room. It was reasonably big for the two of them. Mittens perked a the door opening and meowed at them, snuggling against Lilith's legs and purring loudly.

Miley stared at the gray wall of her room. She didn't like 13 that much, but knew, that is she wanted to prove her trustworthiness and become a rebel leader one day, she had to put up with it. She rubs the sleep out of her eyes and decides to go find someone. She doesn't know who, she just wants to find someone. Miley ignores the dirty looks she gets from the rebels as she walks the long halls.

His smile has a grip on me <3

Shiloh smirks. She could easily destroy those cameras, best of all, she can do it without risk of- as she calls it- returning to her dark side. "I could destroy them" she voices. "But my powers are limited in this stupid cell, if I can somehow get out of the cell it'll be perfect" she turns to him curiously. "What is your master plan?"

Lilith smiles, but it disappears quickly. Almost looking hurt. She sets Eve down on the bed and tucks the girl in. She also sets Mittens down next to her. "I'm sorry" Lilith whispers to Eve. There was something she needed to do and she didn't want Eve to see her do it. She moved towards the exit and looks at Eve one last time before actually leaving. She'll return to Eve, but as a different person...

Lilith moves quickly. By the time she is gone, the only sign of her passing was a guard laying stunned on the ground. His pistol was missing.

Lilith's eyes darken as moves towards the outskirts of District 13. The dark closing in around her and making her invisible. She would make her move soon, but she would have to wait for the perfect moment. Snow... The Capitol... Shiloh... They would all pay in blood

Roxy looked at Shiloh. "I think I can help you get out." Roxy gripped the bars on their cell and tensed her arm muscles. "The spell won't last long so when I say "now" you're going to have to slip through the bars." Elephant’s Strength* Roxy started pulling on the bars and they slowly opened with a groan enough for Shiloh to slip through. "Go now! Hurry! The spell won't last long!"

Melody faintly heard Lilith's footsteps from where she was and turned towards them. "I think we hav' company."

(* = Grants temporary strength boost)

Derek smiled widely as Shiloh successfully stepped out of the cell. "Break their eyes and ears, then all will be revealed." His eyes glinted with the spark of a pyromaniac. "If we can find a bar or any alcohol at all, I'll be able to keep our escape fairly covered. Well, alcohol and anything flammable. Curtains, maybe."

Miley argued her way to the surface. Was she supposed to be there? No. Was she allowed to be there? Probably not. Did she care? No. She thought about the way, when the doctors of 13 had first examined her. "Power?"they had asked. She had responded with "I don't have one." the doctors had brushed her off, saying "Everyone has one." she just shrugged. "I didn't win the games with a power. I won with myself." she had said, sounding miffed. The doctors determined she was, in fact powerless. But Miley knew, knew what her power was. And knew how deadly it was, even to her.

Shiloh nods at both Derek and Roxy. She doesn't trust herself to speak without her voice craving. Where was her earlier confidence when she needed it!? She throws a rush of wind at the cameras, causing the camera to flip up towards the ceiling and shatter against the ceiling. She smiles when the pieces fall down. "I'll find you those items" she tells Derek confidently.

Derek smiled widely and nodded, then hopped up onto the bars, hoisting himself so he could rest one foot on the lock mechanism. Lifting the foot, he stomped down on the mechanism box as hard as he could, and a very loud sound split the air in the area. Jumping back down, he started to pull on the door of the cell. The mechanical thing groaned in protest, before slowly starting to slide open.

Shiloh carefully trekked down the hall and found an abandoned bar. Inside was left behind to rot, but looking in the right places rewarded Shiloh with the very items that she'd been looking for.

Roxy slipped out of the cage and worked on Melody's, prying the bars with her magic just enough for her and her cellmate to slip out. "Why thank you."

Shiloh returns with a few bottles of whiskey and one bottle of whine. She also has a few left over napkins, it wasn't a lot, but far better than nothing. "Is everyone almost out?" Shiloh asks as she rounds the corner. She relaxes when she notices that Roxy almost has everyone free. "Great job guys!" Shiloh's spirits lift as the potential to escape gets greater every moment

When Roxy finished freeing everyone she leaned up against the wall and gave a huff of exhaustion. "Alright, now what do we do? Surely the peacekeepers are going to come running when they realize that the camera's down."

Derek held his hand out for a bottle of whiskey. "I'll lead the way to a hangar or something, I'll need somebody to cover the rear until we find one." His eyes traveled slowly across the small crowd. "Anybody up to it?" Taking the bottle Shiloh handed him, he popped it open, hovering a hand over it for a moment. "This'll do, thank you Shiloh." Taking a tiny sip, he turned towards the wall and held up his hand, one fingertip glowing red. Taking a deep breath, he blew on his finger, and a plume of flame launched from it. "Alcohol, fire, more fire." He smiled, then turned back to the group.

Derek nodded. "And then somebody help Melody if she needs to.. Erm... Dispatch anyone. Anyways, are we ready?" He stepped over to the door and peeked out, looking both ways. Pulling his head back in, he turned to the others. "Hallway's clear, let's move." He stepped out the door, whiskey in hand, then took a few steps, turned around, and waited for the group to follow.
