"yeah my family was obsessed with figuring out who was the strongest. I was my parents' 14th child. My brothers and sisters were much stronger than me. But since I didn't have my dad's dangerous nature, I was kicked out of the main house until I got strong. Spent a few years in the wild, met goldie, and decided, meh, might as well try being a ranger. Speaking of ranger, where the boss lady?"

“That’s sweet of Memphis, and I can already see your strong bond.” Echo said, smiling fondly at the trainer and Mr Mime. “I live in the woods, finding eggs is a common thing, it’s only rare to see abandoned eggs.I actually have several pokemon back home, well not so much ‘have’. They’re free to go whenever they want but they’ll always come back. Anyways, I’ll check and see if I can gift you and of my knives.”

Goldie woke up from her catnap. "Way to join the party sleepyhead. Did you have fun swaddling me in front of everyone?" Goldie crawled over to Jewel's face and began knawing on his cheek. Suddenly all the bruises and scratch's on Jewel's face made sense. Jewel only let out a small. "Hey, would you ease not do that. Don't worry, she's not eating me, she just likes to pretend she's a tyrantrum after we went to go watch a giant monster movie." Goldie, seeming offended, started poking at him with her spike as if to shut him up.

Jay got to work and flipped open to a recipe. Gengar got the ingredients while Jay got the tools. She cooked and set down a plate for everyone. “Here you go! It’s one of my favorites! Tell me what you think.”

Scarlett walked over, picked up the plate and balanced it using her nose, before bringing it over to her trainer. Echo smiled, petting Scarlett. “Thanks Scar” The ninetales looked expectantly at Echo, as she cut the food up and slowly fed Scar bite sized pieces. Once her pokemon were both satisfied, she began eating her own slice.

Kali had made her room pretty out of the way from everyone else’s, pretty much at the end of the row. She didn’t want to involve herself in whatever everyone else was doing, since it seemed unimportant and childish to her. She wasn’t fond of pies or loud crowds, so nothing they did would draw her in. She let out a sigh as she closed her door, a sigh of relief even. She was just happy to have her own thoughts again, away from all the noise. She put her stuff away and set down on her bed, leaning over the hand she had laid on her leg that held froslass’s pokeball. “Ciande... what am I going to do with you...” They both had a rocky start and the road forward didn’t exactly look smooth... Her mother had told her that it took years of hard work and effort to get Froslass to listen to her, and even then she had trouble. She knew that Ciande wouldn’t do well even just outside of her pokeball, and she doubted it would be even worse around other pokemon, especially that gengar... Well, all she could do was try. She stretched her arm out, letting her Froslass free from the pokeball and out into the room. The same angered look was in its face ever since she returned her long ago, one that chilled Kali to the bone. The two sat in silence, only staring at each other to “communicate”.

Gengar ate his food and sat on Jay’s lap once he and her were finished. “I have a whole book of recipes! There are enough in there for a new meal everyday for a whole year!

Echo could sense something was not right, and the ability brought up unsettling memories of her past..... When she was a child, her parents discovered her talent, her sixth sense. It wasn’t a superpower, more like a gift, but it was terrifyingly accurate. However, her parents hated this about her, and would abuse her, leading to her having a permanent scar under her eye, after being cut with a serrated knife and being thrown out into the cold harshness of winter at the tender age of 6. Since then, she fended for herself, making friends with pokemon around her. She heard a door shut and went to the hallway, seeing the door at the far end shut. Closed-off, wary, cautious....... She noted before going back. After all, it was none of her business, though she hoped that trainer was ok. In reality, she wasn’t too keen on intermingling either, she didn’t trust any of them yet, she simply thought it would be polite

Gengar hopped into Echo’s shadow, and snuck back out to go into the room at the end of the hall. He passed through the door, and looked at the room. He saw someone sitting on the bed staring at a Pokemon. He walked up and tapped the human on the shoulder.

The cuts from Echo's knife sills loosened the webbing enough for Jewel to force his way out of his sticky bindings. "Oh sweet grub, but Im kinda sticky right now, Imma go see if I can find some water to wash this stuff off." Stepping outside, he found a river that he sat in, not bothering to take his clothes off, the river dissolved the webbing anyway. "Hey guys! the water here is awesome! You can actually se-woah" His shouts were quickly interrupted by a brief smack of jumping magicarp.

Without hesitation, Ciande caught on to whatever the gengar was doing and prepared a shadow ball, almost firing it. Kali was a bit surprised by the sudden movement until she felt a tap on her shoulder, looking to see the gengar from before. Piecing together what was happening, she moved away from the gengar and got to her feet, then looked at Froslass desperately. “Stand down Ciande!” She nearly yelled, holding her hand out between the ghost of shadows and ghost of ice. The Froslass, who was angered by the interruption of the intruder, didn’t listen and fired anyways. Kali was forced to step back to avoid getting hit, hoping the gengar would be able to do the same. Before more damage could be dealt, she held out the pokeball and returned her froslass. “Dammit Ciande!” She yelled, unable to see what had happened to their guest just yet.

Echo heard the yells from the trainer in the last room. She immediately rushed over and knocked on the door, before opening it. Her eyes widened upon seeing the injured gengar and she immediately went over to help. “What happened?” She asked, turning to face Kali

“Eh?” Forrest was a little confused and a little overwhelmed by the commotion in the corridors as well as the rooms near him. He had to lean on Selvo the Tropius for support for a brief moment as he simply watched the commotion for now...he tried to be out of the way at least, as he took a sweet from his pocket and ate it

Spiri had locked herself up in the room. Her and Breeze were sharing the pie that the girl had picked up from the kitchen earlier. She had offered Lucky some, but the dragonair had just snorted and closed his eyes again. It seemed like he only wanted to rest, even after his drink. The commotion outside seemed to startle Spiri, yet she tried to stay out of things like this, preferring someone else handle it instead. Unless it directly affected her, of course. She just hoped the others weren't destroying the place.

Spiri hadn't eaten much of the pie before she realized she had given most of it to Breeze. The Leafeon loved berries more than anything, so it wasn't a shock to see that the forest creature had gobbled up most of the treat. Now she was licking up the last traces of berry juice off the dish, Spiri simply watching. The girl adored her Pokémon's tiny tongue and large eyes as she eagerly enjoyed the treat. She couldn't be angry at this thing.

Leaving Breeze to her treat, Spiri took off the white coat she had been wearing, starting to get toasty in its fluffy insides. She hung the overwear on the side of the bed, revealing a similarly colored t-shirt underneath. Moving one of the pillows away from Breeze's nest, she leaned it against the back of the bed and lay on it, staring up at the ceiling with half closed eyes.
