*Dylan shrugged and fiddled with the meat that was over the fire* Nothing really to tell. My parents were killed by Cloaks when I was ten. And when I was maybe fifteen, my brother died of- *Dylan paused for a moment* I dont remember exactly. He liked other boys so it probably had something to do with that.

*Maddy looked up at the little girl and opened her mouth to speak but no words came out. She instead reached one of her hands out towards the child. The child cowered backwards slightly but Maddy looked in her eyes* Its ok. I'm not gonna hurt you. *Maddy began to reach her hand out again and touched the child's face. Her face was warm against Maddy's cold hand. But this moment was abruptly ended when Maddy heard footsteps below them. Maddy looked at the child and began to whisper* Quickly, hide under that bed. And no matter what, don't come out until I tell you too

The child quickly hid under the bed hearing the urgency in Maddy's tone, it was almost like. . .like-

Quickly, hide in the cabent and dont come out until I say so! I love you so much Katniss.

The child bit he rlip and waited with baited breath as the footsteps aproached.

Gwen raises an eyebrow at the last part, but she doesn't say anything about it, it didn't really feel like she was in the position to do so. "That's a shame to hear. It sounds like you had a rough childhood" she grabs his hand and gives him an encouraging smile. "I hope I can change that... make your rough past worth it for the great present and future." She looks up when Emi and Blossom come closer. "You can take some now if you want, they should be fully cooked now thanks to me" she says teasingly as she elbows Dylan.

Just myself. *Benton smiled* Good, because if you are lying to me, I will hurt you and kill them. Do you understand Maddy? *Maddy nodded her head, sorrowfully.* Yes *Benton smiled* Goid, now get on the bed. *Maddy looked up at him* Please no, don't make me *Benton's demeanor quickly switch from commanding to downright violent. He slapped her in the face and pointed to his bed* Get on the bed now! *Maddy fell backwards and quickly crawled to the bed*

The bed creaked as Maddy crawled on to the bed, Katniss could only see Benton's feet as he tapped his foot somewhat impacently and she put both hands over her mouth as if this would make her breathign quieter, not that Benton could hear her.

"Stop!" Gwen says between a fit of laughter. Although one could tell by her tone that she doesn't really want him to stop. She grabs his hand, her face reddening when she notices just how close they were right now. "We should really focus on the day ahead" she tells him with a serious face expression.

*Dylan stopped and help Gwen up. He took the deer meat off the flame and began to cut it up for everyone. Luckily for him, it was cooked this time.* So, who's hungry?

*Benton looked at Maddy as she sat on the bed. He moved hair out of her face and began to unbuckle his belt. 20 minutes later, Maddy laid on the bed, sick with herself and Benton walked over to the bed after buckling his belt back up.* I'll be back for you later, my pet. And Winters will be sure to come in and feed you within the hour. *Maddy rolled around to her side and struggled to hold in tears. Benton turned around and walked out the door, closing and locking it while he exited the room. Maddy got up and began to spit stuff out of her mouth and cough. She then turned to the bed* You can come out now, little one.

"Me!" Emi called out as she ran to get some of the deer meat. BLossom just shook her head and got up.

Katniss had put her hands over her ears to block out the noises of what had been her best guess of a struggle and gagging. When Maddy's voice cooed gently giving the indication that the whole nightmare for the both of them was over, she crawled out, dong her best to avoid the fresh small pile of vomit on the ground. She looked at Maddy and noted the tears. When she spoke, her voice was so soft, almost whsiper like from lack of use, that Maddy had to strain to hear. "Why does he hurt you like that?"

Sage and Gwen both help themselves to venison. Gwen eats as much as she can knowing fully well that she'll need the energy if she intends to go out scouting with Dylan today. Sage glances at the meat with a look of distaste. She doesn't have a problem with eating meat, she would just prefer that she didn't. But it's not like she has a whole lot of options, so she eats it without complaint.

Star came back in and silently took some venison for herself, as she ate her mind wandered, she looked visable distracted as her eyes gazed past the group.

*Maddy looked at Katniss and hesitated to answer her question. She took a deep breath and walked over to her. As Maddy walked, the chain around her neck began to shake and make a quiet noise. Maddy squatted down and put her hands on Katniss's shoulders and looked her in the eyes* Sometimes, someone doesn't have to have a reason. They just take pleasure out of doing it.


*Dylan finished eating and stood up* I'm gonna go clean up and then both me and Gwen need to go.

Irin stepped out of his home, eyeing the door to make sure it didn't fall. He was whispering a little tune, and he seemed somewhat afraid to sing it near of Benton's men. "There will come a soldier, who carries a mighty sword. He will tear your city down, Oh Lei Oh Lie Oh Lore..." He eyed Benton himself, then, a small smile tricking across his face. He passed his hand over a tattoo under his clothing, his eyes taking on a small amount of malice. His tune turned to word. "My eyes are on you, Benton. You don't care, though, do you?" His hands played across his clothing again, feeling the chain links hidden beneath his usual clothing. He wasn't planning on attack, he was just cautious after what happened. He started to approach Benton, then realized how close his home had ended up being to Benton's more complex building. His house also didn't have Kanabō holes and marks everywhere on it. Maybe I could change that... Guards might be a problem, but if I managed to get in there with them... His mind started to whir, his ideas coming to life behind his eyes. The possibilities, too.

Luke says loudly, “JERKS! YOUR LEADER MUST BE A CHICKEN IF THAT PERSON DOESN’T COME DOWN TO SEE ME!” A big beefy guard walks up to Luke and unlocks him, then he holds him up easily with one arm. The guard says, “Shut up.” in a snide way and he then uses Luke as a punching bag. Quite a few punches later, he pins Luke against a wall, almost choking him. Luke then gets punched in the face and is knocked out. He gets tied back up with chains and gagged, with the chair still chained to the pole.

Barry starts rolling back to the base slowly. He hoped nobody saw him, good or bad. If they were a good doctor who could look at him than sure he would let them, but not really talk.

Gwen retrieves her stolen cloak and dagger. She pauses by Star as she passes her. "You are in charge of protecting everyone again" she grins. "I'm proud of you Star, you stepped up to the job right away, and exceeded my expectations. Keep doing what you are doing" she praises. She walks off towards the entrance of the tunnel and waits for Dylan.

*Dylan saw Gwen at the door outside and shouted towards her* Hey silly! We have the tunnels! *Gwen slapped her forehead forgetting about the tunnels and followed Dylan down the tunnel towards the city, however she found it odd that he knew which tunnel to take, but it didn't matter. After what felt like an hour of walking in the dark, the two finally reach a door that lead into the city. Dylan went up first and saw they were in the basement of someone's home. He looked down the hole and motioned for Gwen to follow him*

*Maddy looked towards Katniss* First chance you get, you need to get out of here. Understand me Katniss?

Gwen frowns as she follows Dylan. Who's house was this? It had to be someone important. Who else would allow the Cloaks to dig a tunnel that lead to their house. She doesn't question it outloud though, what were the chances that Dylan would even know? "What now?" She asks as she fiddles with the sleeve of the cloak

Barry is wondering which way to go to get back. He continues rolling, trying to retrace where he went. He sees the broken twig and jagged rock, so he should be going the right direction. He gets somewhere near the door, not knowing it was there, and just sits, not wanting to get anymore lost.

Luke’s guard comes back in and decides to make Luke’s life miserable by unchaining him but he has some heavier and stronger chains. He ties them around Luke’s ankles and hangs him from the ceiling, also putting lighter chains around both of his wrists so he doesn’t try and untie them. He walks away, Luke still unconscious with a gag.
