"If they let me stay, I think they would let you stay." Steve said confidently, laughing as Leaf pushed his costume hood off to dry his hair. "I don't know what a mom does though.... Maybe? Leaf is very nice."

Finally shutting up as the bodies were carted away, Jesse decided to see if Felice was alright. She seemed shaken up and he wanted to know if she'd be okay. He said as much once he got close enough to speak with her.

"I'm fine. The grief and anxiety here's just overwhelming." Felice grumbled. She kicked the ground aimlessly. "Being an Empath is hard." She sensed confusion radiating from Jesse. "Oh wait, I didn't introduce myself yet... I'm Felice, my power is Empathy, the ability to feel others' emotions. I get overwhelmed sometimes."

"Oh, I know what you mean." Jesse laughed smiling. "The earth is always so sad, and sometimes I have to stop listening to her. But she's nice and calm, stable too." He pet the ground as if the dirt itself was talking to him. In a what it was true, he communed with the earth and asked it to aid him. "Wanna head back in? It's been a long day."

The girl looked sad, or at least Steve was sure he caught a glimps of it in her eyes. "But you're not like me. . .I mean you are, but much better looking. I'm just a half dead walker. People kill things like me. . .and. . .you're my friend. . .I don't want you to see that."

Felice nodded. She didn't feel any guilt for kicking the ground, lacking in the ability to feel sorry. "Sure." She turned and began to head back into the building while analysing Jesse's emotions. He seemed to be genuinely helpful. Not surprising, many people are way too kind for their own good.

"I've been dead for a while now I think..." Steve hummed, putting a finger to his chin. "And I think you're pretty cute so there's no way that I'm prettier than you." Smiling happily, he turned his attention back to the courtyard, swaying from side to side.

Jesse didn't seem to notice and wandered back into his room. "Well, have a nice evening , Ms. Felice." He waved before entering his own room. The moment the door clicked behind him, he sighed and flopped onto his bed.

Felice went back into her own room as well and stared at the ceiling. She reflected over what happened and tried to theorise, to very little avail. Hmm... maybe Jackson used something to make himself seem dead. She hoped Semi had thought of burning Jackson's body before burying him.

Dallas was both shocked and worried when she found out that Jackson had been killed. What would happen to this group now that they didn't have a leader? What would happen to her? When she notices that everyone is going to bed, she does the same. The first thing she does is clean the wounds on her hands and bandage them. Her left hand was slightly scratched up, but it would heal soon. Her right hand was much worse. She had expanded the wound when she killed zombified Cora. She winces at that memory. She had killed zombies before, but this one hurt the most. To make matters worse, it's become apparent that her sister loathes her. Not that Dallas blames her... but Alex doesn't understand the situation she was in when it was just her and her father. Their father was not a good man. She shakes her head, refusing to think of those memories again. With a sigh she exits the bathroom and walks into her room to go to bed.

Alex resistances the urge to punch the wall. The opportunity to get revenge was quickly slipping from her hands. She also didn't have the ability to deceive Dallas anymore. Things were going to get really complicated for her. She should just leave this place, or even try and forgive Dallas. What's stopping her? Probably a higher power trying to create a weird mini plot between her two characters... No, that's crazy, it was most likely a dangerous combination of pure stubbornness and a thirst for revenge

If the zombie girl was capable of blushing she probably would've at this point. "Im. . .I'm cute?"

Leaf smiled at the two. "I'm glad you two are having a good converstaion, but Steve, don't you think you should go back to Amber incase she gets worried about you being gone? You can talk more with her tomorrow." Leaf finished drying off Steve and the little zombie girl. "Can you find your way back Steve?"

Semi, being a little street dumb, did not burn the body. He had cleaned the blood off all three of the bodies and had resown some of Cora's facial features back into an acceptable and recognizable image. It wasn't perfect, Semi was by no means a mortician or an embalmer, but the job had been done and he was satisfied with his work.

Steve grinned and nodded. "Very cute." He said solemnly as if it was the universal truth. Standing up, he brushed some grass off his costume and waved goodbye. "I think I can make my way back. If not.... Hmmm.... I guess we'll see." He laughed before trotting towards the dorms.

Leaf smiled at Steve. "Alright, see you in the morning Steve." Leaf carefully took the towel of fthe girl then dressed her in dry pjs and set aside the girl's dress to wash later.

The girl waved as Steve left then let Leaf pick her up and tuck her in a spare bed, though restless, the girl wasn't sure if she needed sleep since she wasn't completely dead. Yet she closed her eyes and tried to sleep.

Everyone else at this point was sleeping, though some a bit restless from the sudden turn of events.

Steve eventually (read: asked directions) found Amber's room and shuffled down into his bed. Gingerly taking off his ghost costume to dry, Steve snuggled into bed feeling a little more exposed without his costume. The blanket covering his rotting body made up for it though as he closed his eyes and pretended to go back to sleep

Still awake and finishing up preparing the body, Semi decided that if he was down here, he mind as well finish the investigation of who murdered Cora. Taking the flashlight, he began to dust the weapon down for any fingerprints, white imprints coming up easily. Checking the prints against Jackson's, he found them to be a match and sighed heavily. Culprit found, he supposed cleaning up the mess that he had made.

As morning slowly came, Blaze was laready up making breakfast for everyone there. By the time the first stragglers were up a wonderful arouma was wafting from the cafeteria.

Felice sat up, rubbing her eyes, awoken by the aromatic smell and by the sting of excitement from other awake people. She changed quickly and went to the cafeteria. Almost instantly, she sensed the grief from yesterday wasn't dispersed yet. A spark of irritation drove through her. Why can't these people just move on? However, she knew emotions were extremely irrational and kept her mouth shut as she went to get food.

The food didnt apeare to be much, some eggs with bacon and toast along with either a cup of orange juice or milk pending the person's choice. Blaze's eyes held exhaustion, yet she was smiling small.

Semi was the first one to walk into the dining area, eyes fluttering shut every so often. It was a wonder why he hadn't straight up face planted on the way there. "Do you guys want to do a proper burial? The bodies have been cleaned out and I removed the organs so they shouldn't become zombies. I hope." He yawned, waving towards Blaze. "I also found out who killed Cora."

Steve rolled over, although his eyes were closed, he saw everything. His ability to retain consciousness even if his body was knocked out was annoying but he at least watched over his new guardians as they slept. It was still early by his estimates so Steve stayed still and let his guardians rest longer

Dallas makes her way to the cafeteria. Physically, she feels a lot better than how she felt last night. Her body desperately needed rest so she could produce more blood. Mentally, she feels terrible. She is still shook and hurt by what happened last night. She is a bit hesitant to walk into the room where so many people were in. Did they all know what happened? Where they aware that she was a suspect? Did they blame her? Her eyes land on her sister, who glares at her while chewing a piece of bacon. She quickly looks away, her face flushing up in shame. She inhales a worried breath when she hears Semi talk. She cringes, preparing for the worse

His eyes flickered at every movement, a sleepless night etched under his eyes but the familiar face of Dallas had him sighing in relief. "Hey." He waved, trying for an energetic smile at least. "How are you holding up? Are your hands feeling better?" He inquired, sliding over a few paces.

Leaf's kids were running around trying to burn off some of that morning energy before they sat down to eat. Leaf grabbed a plate and slunk off to give some of her food to the zombie girl in her room.

The girl seemed to enjoy the bacon more then the eggs and toast, this being confirmed when she gave Leaf a huge grin.

Felice picked up a piece of toast and a cup of orange juice. She didn't eat much, but after a second of thought she reluctantly took an egg as well. She sensed Dallas's unease and Alex's hate and furrowed her eyebrows. Really, what was going on between those 2? She also sensed Semi's exhaustion. She went over to sit near the two of them, listening out and keeping a tab on their emotions while eating slowly.
