Sage smiles at that question. "He took a particular interest in me. I like to think I got most of my wisdom from him" she replies. "I believe he'll fight with us so he won't have to see this kingdom fall. Or maybe it's something else..." she shrugs. "With these beasts, you never know for sure what their intentions are"

*Talla went into the slave mines. She saw her men were wearing their thunderbird and griffin cloaks. Some were animal skulls as masks and the ones who didn't had painted onto their faces using blood from the thunderbirds. She climbed up one of the whole thunderbirds and stood on it.* The time is now my brother's and sister. *Talla watched them cheer for her. She looked at the skull mask in her hand and finally put it on. Something surged through her. Something sinister. She looked at her men and drew her sword.* Sound the horns!! *Her men cheered and began to blow on battle horns that could be heard for miles. The last of the slaves had been whipped as a signal to begin pulling the Cloaks Warmachines as they began their march towards the poor kingdom. People standing in the rich kingdom booed the Cloak soldiers and began to throw vegetables at the soldiers as they went through the pass. The soldiers blew into the horn again and scared the people off. Talla stood on one of their Warmachines and began to laugh like a maniac.*

*Maddy looked towards the rich kingdom upon hearing the men's cheer and the the horn* There moving. *She looked towards Sage* Alert the villagers, they will be here by daybreak.

*Tani looked at him* Your too young. You have your whole life ahead of you, Luke. Dont throw it all away *Tani heard the loud horn and turned to look out the tent* It sounds like the Cloaks are beginning their march. *She looked at Luke* Get some sleep. *She left the tent with her sword*

Sage's guards run off to warn the other villagers. She turns towards Maddy. "You better rest. We'll all need our energy. I'll have guard keep watch all night... Just in case they come early" Sage walks towards her hut to grab some blankets. Now that Gwen is on her bed, she'll have to sleep outside. Balin has already landed with his TBs. His own army is doing the same thing. Two are going to keep watch all night.

Gwen winces when she sees Sage. Expecting to be interrogated again. Sage is too tired to worry about Gwen. She just smiles kindly at her before leaving to sleep outside.

Luke mutters softly, “I will fight in this battle. I’m just going to have to sneak out of the village to do it.” Luke quietly steps out of the hut and walks off to fife behind another hut.

*Maddy sat on the wall. She closed her eyes and began to see flashes of her past. She heard screaming and saw a house that was on fire. She broke the door down and grabbed the person, pulling them outside. Then she saw the town she woke up in the nearly destroyed town. Maddy woke up from her dream and looked towards the sky. It was she could see a light in the distance, meaning the attack was immanent*

Luke is sneaking around the village making sure no one is around. He is moving quick so no one sees him. He sees Maddy and makes sure he doesn’t let her see him though, in case she wants to try and stop him from battle.

Sage walks up to Maddy and stands behind her. "Are you ready?" Sage asks her. "After today this whole war will be over" she sounds much more confident than she feels. Balin was already awake and scouting around for Talla. She watches him for a moment, transfixed by the golden glow of his feathers against the rising sun

Luke tried to keep sneaking without getting caught. He wonders how he will get past the other people so he can get outside the village and prepare for the big battle tomorrow. He makes a run for it.

*Maddy drew her sword* I am. *Maddy walked over to the walls battle horn* Let's just hope they are. *Maddy blew on the horn to alert the villagers of the impending danger*

*Tani woke up and goes into the tent to wake Luke up. When she opens the flap, she sees no one is inside and begins to pani, calling for Luke* Luke!? Where are you?!

*People rush to defend the wall.. The sound of trees being broken can be heard throughout the kingdom. Movement can be see among the tree's. And then all of a sudden, it stops. Maddy takes out her hand telescope and looks towards the tree's. She sees a row of people on horse wearing animal skulls for helmets. She looks deeper into the tree line and sees the Cloaks Warmachines.*

*She puts the telescope away and looks down toward the villagers. She could see they were scared. She heard someone shout* Why did we decide to stay and fight? Now we will all die! *This caused murmurs to rush through the villagers on the front. Maddy began to speak while walking down the wall.* Aye, fight and you may die. Run and you’ll live — at least a while. *Maddy reached the bottom step and continued to walk through the crowd* And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, *Maddy finished walking through the crowd and stood in front of all the villagers* just one chance to come back here *Maddy began to shout* and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they’ll never take *Maddy drew her sword and shouted* Our freedom!!! *The villagers shouted 'FREEDOM'. Two villagers in the back turned to eachother* Did she just quote Sir Mel Gibson of Braveheart? *The other man shook his head* Just leave it *The two men shrugged and shouted freedom with the crowd*

Sage remains standing on the wall. Although she does smile at Maddy's speech behind her. She'd make a great leader when this whole war was finished with... And if they survive. "Those war machines are going to be trouble" she whispers to herself. Suddenly TBs whip past her. They fly straight towards some horses, trying to spook them so the riders can fall.

"Let me help" Gwen tells Blossom. "I feel better today I promise" and she does. Although the back of her heads stings like crazy and her arm still hurts like Hell. She stands up, not feeling dizzy. "I can still shoot with my bow and arrow. I can just use my hurt arm to balence the bow... It's better than nothing"

*Talla watched as the thunderbirds flew towards the warmachines. She turned towards one of her men* Release the prisoner's. *He nodded and scared the horses, they began to run towards the kingdom. Talla's eyes turned black as she looked towards the city.* Once those birds are gone, engage the city. *She turned towards him* Until then, you know what to do. *Talla walked past the man, as he smiled and nodded. He blew his horn and the Warmachines aimed for the sky*

*Maddy watched the Thunderbirds fly towards the calvary. Something wasnt right. She took out her telescope and looked at the calvary closer. She noticed there hands we tied to their reins and arms were tied to their bodies. She looked at the field in horror.* Its a trap

She jumped back at the arrow. "ROSALIND, AND I..."She stopped, and saw what was happening at the wall.

I'm trying to think of a good signature, so... Use your imagination.

Luke is in the forest, unaware of what is happening. He then hears the noises, so he runs all the way back to his poor village to see what is going on.

Sage tries to call the TBs back, but it's too late. The first row of 'attackers' were nothing more than just human shields. She holds up a hand, stopping her archers from firing. "When the army gets closer, fire in the middle!" She commands.

Gwen has made it to the back of the group. She smiles kindly at the archers who are next to her before she focuses on Maddy and Sage, waiting for their commands

*Talla smiled and turns towards the Warmachines* Fire! *The Warmachines fired and went right just above the riders, towards the thunderbirds, killing them on impact. But they didn't stop there, they kept going towards the towns walls. They lodged into the wall and it shook with the force of the hit*

Sage smiles, now seeing an opening. "Light your weapons!" She shouts. A few people carry torches, they run past the archers who all light their arrows. "Fire!" she commands. The arrows sail over the wall and fly towards the middle of Talla's army. A whooshing sound can be heard above her. She glances up to see a large wing by the clouds for a moment before it disappears. Blood drips down from above the clouds. Balin was shot
