Kendo nodded in response to Madrix. “Yes, We were having a nice
conversation” she responded in a trancelike state. She couldn’t
think straight, Or respond.
He sighed and simply dodged the electricity, but still getting
plenty enough to scorch him a bit. Him being soaked didn’t help
either. His vision got a little bit blurry and his muscles ached a
bit. “Well well well, what do we have here? Oh yeah, it’s the
other weaklings. You guys try so hard, but you still can’t
do anything. No wonder why no one is with you, everyone knows that
you’ll be a bother to work with.” He knew this was a big risk. If
he focused too much on them, Kendo could break free more freely. He
looked at Kendo for a bit, hoping that it wasn’t that easy to break
out so far. He knew he had no choice. He couldn’t fight them, he
could easily die. He just needed a way to keep them both
occupied...
Fredrick soon made it to the ground, ignoring the stinging on his
arms from the multiple scratches before he walked around to the
front, aiming his free arm out as he sent a blast of his blue fire
at Madrix.
''get away from her.... before i burn you to a crisp'' he
threatened, his voice laced with venom as he went over to try and
guard Kendo and the door.
Freya decided to go and help evacuate villagers before going to
take care of Travis, wanting to help the villagers to safety first.
“Oh how the world is against me.” He dramatically mumbled. “Well,
I’m outnumbered. Might as well...” he gestured his hand towards
Kendo. “Honey, it would be a shame if he interrupted this
conversation by injuring me, would it? Make sure he doesn’t for me,
will you?” He commanded her.
Kendo’s body moved involuntarily, And shot water at Fredrick.
“Leave master alone” she commanded to Fredrick. Inside, She was
trying to break free, But she couldn’t figure it out.
He almost chuckled at the word “master”. Not unusual, no, but it
still got him. He could feel a bit of resistance coming from Kendo.
He focused a bit more on her, making sure not to let her break
free. “Very good, now I think we will be on our way.” He smile
deviously at Fredrick. Thanks to Kendo, he would have a bit of
extra time to get in. He still had to keep Admin and Gen in check,
but they weren’t a big deal at the moment. “Come along, ma’am. I
will need your help for this, if you’re willing.” One problem with
his power was, if he was too controlling, it would be easier to
break free. He had to give a bit of choice, even if there was only
one answer that would work.
Fred had bristled at Madrix calling Kendo ''honey'' and was about
ready to snap at him before he heard Kendo speak up, turning just
to see her start to move and brought his free arm up, blocking the
water from hitting his face.
''K-Kendo?'' he asked, lowering his arm to look over at her with
wide eyes now as he dropped Lilith and, on the safe side, trapped
her in a vortex of his fire that he kept under control.
he had backed up a bit as well, not too keen on attacking Kendo out
of fear of harming her or worse, he caught onto what was happening
when he noticed the dulled look in her eyes from being under a
trance, soon glancing over at Madrix murderously.
''what did you do to her?'' he questioned, demanding an answer from
him.
“Hm?” He turned his head to see Fredrick. “Let’s just say I talked
her into it.” He smirked. A glint in his eyes gave a clear message.
Hurt me and you hurt her. “Be a good boy and I might just
give her back. She’s starting to grow on me.” He gave a slight
chuckle.
Galahad stood besides Poppy and Gris, contemplating his next move.
His choices were to group up with Ced again and try to take out the
other intruder or stay and help as much as possible Poppy and the
others. He was lost in his thoughts.
Kendo started to walk towards Madrix, But soon she started to walk
slower. She was close to breaking free, But just couldn’t get it.
Her eyes were dull, and so were her movements.
he cursed under his breath, clenching his hands into fists as he
glared at Madrix, and if looks could kill, Fredricks glare was
practically sending daggers right into him.
''please... you and your friends just leave us alone, this village
has done nothing to you, why are you doing this?'' he asked,
noticing how Kendo walked out of the corner of his eye, subtly
trying to keep Madrix's focus on him now to see if that helped free
her.
He felt the rope close to breaking. Kendo was almost free. He had
to move, he couldn’t keep her in long enough to get inside the
temple and help them. He needed to get out of here peacefully. He
wouldn’t be able to take any more hits. “Oh I know. It would’ve
been much more convenient if the village wasn’t next to the
star, but oh well. Well, soon enough we can reclaim it. For now,
toodles.” He waves his fingers and took off, freeing Kendo.
Lilith opens her eyes to see a blast of fire around her. Her open
eye narrows as she tries to find a way out of this situation. She
could blast a bit of ice on it but that would be a waste of energy.
She shuts her eyes again trying to find Madrix and help him out if
needed. She senses that he has a bit of space between himself and
his attackers, but he'll have to move fast if he wants to make it
into the temple
