The spear whizzed past his face, blowing his hair out a bit. He
looked back to see Admin coming straight at him. “Hah! The
weakling’s back, but he’s not even using his powers! Guess he
finally learned how useless they were!” He had to try to discourage
his opponent if they were being difficult. It would be easier to
“control” them
"I'm not a weakling. You call me that because you are so desperate
for attention and you try to be tough and be the bad guy, but
really, you're just a stupid block of wood who is trying to
convince himself that he is strong, when really, you're nothing
more then a puppet." Admin spat back, making every word drip with
venom. He punched Madrix in the stomach and, while he was doubled
over, picked up his spear and drove it through his chest.
“Heh- ACK!” He began to cough, soon coughing up blood. He grabbed
the end of the spear and held his hand there. “You think I- *cough*
haven’t heard that before? Kid I’m-*cough* immune to that s***.
Then again, brains over brawn.” He smirked before his vision went
dark and he passed out. He couldn’t die, he just couldn’t. Not this
close. Not when they were so close to being here. He fought to say
those words, now he had to fight to stay alive until he could be
healed.
Madrid’s nearly dead body fell to the ground, blood spreading
further on the grass. In his mind he was begging for someone to
help him, but who could hear? They wouldn’t get here in time...
Of course Madrix couldn’t feel this, but he felt his life fading a
bit quicker. He was about ready to give up trying. No one could
help him, not at this rate.
Lilith jolts upward, her eyes are wide. Madrix's aurura was weak.
Dangerously weak. Suddenly she doesn't even care about her lack of
energy or the fact that she is surrounded by enemies. She extends a
hand, ice forms on the ground in front of her. Crucial seconds are
wasted as she fights with the flames, trying to make a pathway
large enough for her to squeeze through. Once the fire looks weak
enough she jumps over the flames, she feels pain race through her
as the fire scorches her skin a bit. She races over to Madrix and
places a hand over his wounds. She uses the ice power to cover the
wound in ice. This'll also help numb the pain. Although the
numbness wouldn't go into affect right away, it would sting quite a
bit of course. His aurura is still weak and for a moment she
wonders if she was too late. Suddenly the reality of the situation
hits her, the two won't be safe with all these people around. She
once again forces ice spikes to rise, enclosing the two in a wall
of ice. "Madrix don't you die on me!" She demands. "I'll need you
to try and use your powers again if we wish to get out alive"
Fredrick had managed to rush over to Kendo and picked her up bridal
style before running to go hide behind the temple, not wanting to
risk either of they're lives to fight for the moment until he knew
Kendo was more aware of everything.
soon Travis made his way to the top of the temple stairs, not even
having to look at anyone as he extended his power out to blood
marionette the people in the vicinity if the front of the temple,
his power seeming to be fairly strong to easily force people who
weren't his allies down to the ground in submission and bow with
ease as he walked past towards the large ice barricade.
he simply knocked on one of the ice pillars and smirked, tilting
his head a little bit.
''hey Lilith, mind dropping the ice? i'll take you both to a safer
place and help'' he said, hoping she could hear him behind the ice,
he was already helping Madrix by stopping the ice covered wounds
bloodflow so he didn't loose anymore than he needed.
A sudden feeling of revitalization hit him. He didn’t go deeper in
the dark abyss, he was slowly coming out of it. He felt like he
could still fight to keep alive. Had help really come? Hopefully it
was Lilith, or even Travis. Hopefully he wasn’t taken prisoner and
kept alive for torture. He just needed to wait a bit to wake up,
then the rising suspension in him would go away.
Lilith nods, even though Travis won't be able to see. There is a
light rumble as the ice spikes crack and carefully shatter onto the
ground. "We need to flee" she tells Travis. "I don't know how, but
everyone has expected us. It's too risky to continue the attack!"
Travis stepped back when he heard the slight rumble and watched the
ice crumbled to the ground, but the grin he had vanished when he
seen the condition Madrix was in and how beat up Lilith looked,
eyes wide in horror as he looked between his two allies.
''we'll continue the conversation later, i'm getting you both to
safety... sorry buddy..'' he said, muttering a quick apology to
Madrix while quickly stepping closer before he carefully picked
Madrix up, tucking him under his arm as comfortably as he could get
him.
Travis reached out and helped Lilith up but scooping his hand under
her arm and lifting her up.
''once i'm further away from this area my blood manipulation is
going to deactivate on them... so we need to hurry otherwise we're
all in trouble..'' he muttered to her, making sure only she heard
his words.
