I've talked to Riako about it and he'd rather not send the consolation prizes 'early', because that would reveal to the winners that they won, and he wants it to be a surprise for everyone.
I've explained everything to Riako, but ultimately it's his call so I've done about all I coud, I'm afraid.
I will keep this in mind for future spriting contests, so I don't give the false promise/hope of revealing the winners, though I do realise it's too little too late for this contest.
I sincerely apologize for my mistake!

I would love to see them too. Sadly, not every user will feel comfortable with sharing their sprite entries. Especially if they didn't win, they might feel self-conscious about their "failure" and wouldn't want other people to know about it. And it would be too much work to go around to each user and ask if they want their sprites shown.
