Completely support. There are a couple of people that I am about to unfriend because they post so much that I can't even find my notifications about things I actually need to do, but I think they are nice people so I really don't want to unfriend them. I was planning on making this suggestion myself!

Full support. One of my very close friends post way too many feeds every day but I don't want to unfriend them. It would actually be pretty useful to have this implemented.

Full support coz sometimes they keep posting hashtags like a lot..one post at a time..instead of posting 10 different hashtags that they can shove in one post >~o

I personally don't reshare hashtags coz I find them annoying (sorry XD)

But I'd like to add something. There should be a page to visit those "muted" members on your FL to unmute them. Or, this feature could be just a temporary mute for 1-7 days. We all know people who get a bit emotional from time to time but cool down and stop flooding the feeds, plus we also tend to forget who we have muted or not. And that could cause confusion if you notice 3 months later that you can't see a person's feed anymore.

And why not adding a separate function for turn on/off hashtag feeds in general? I mean, those could still appear in the newest and trending feed area, but could at the same time be excluded from a persons notif wall. I think that would make a lot of people feel more comfortable and on the other hand would people still give the chance to participate without being worried they annoy their friends with feeds like that.

Could there be a button for those who post feeds where they could choose to whom this feed goes?
like the friends only button... just like 'you really need to know this even if you've muted me'?
would make this whole 'i missed an important feed from this user because i muted him'

of course with the idea behind that those user who posted the feed know what exactly would be important and what not.

I think there should be a seperate list of feeds from the muted users that shows their feeds without notifying you. Support.

I can definitely say that I would definitely use it, along with most of my friends probably! I'll be honest, sometimes there's a LOT of things I want to talk about, but making one SUPER long feed can make your friends annoyed as well as posting 2 or 3 feeds that are all things you want to talk about to anyone or wish to communicate that don't make sense to go in the same feed. It's kinda like if one post you're talking about the Game Center and another you might be talking about a mainstream Pokemon game where the comment section could become a chaotic mess if you don't separate them into different posts or maybe even someone might ignore a question you have if there is too much non-context from something else you're talking about. It would definitely be useful to be able to mute the user for say, an hour, than to have to deal with all their feeds clogging up Notifications and/or removing them temporarily and forgetting to re-add them. Maybe that's just me though?

I fully support this idea.

I love all the friends I've made, but sometimes it can be hard to vibe when all my important notifications (i.e. rumble area, trade station, item market sales, daycare) are constantly buried under short feeds. And even if some people don't post a lot, if you have more friends it's more likely to have your notifications nuked. Having the option to keep someone as a friend but not be notified of all their feeds would be amazing.

Title: Add the option to disable/enable messages from friend-list

I know this hasn't been touched in a while but I have an additional suggestion, as someone who often likes to keep their notif's for organization and time stamps I can totally see this getting really annoying over time especially if your not really interested in said posts <:1

In the notification settings there are options that can be disabled and enabled, why not add a function just like that but for messages that come from the peeps on your friends-list instead if having to mute or unfriend them?
