Somehow only just now realized that MAN WITH A MISSION is referenced in Log Horizon, at least in the first season. MAN WITH A MISSION did the opening song used in the first (I think 2 seasons) part of the series and there's a scene in the first season where the princess of the land is giving a speech. She looks around the crowd, and there it is: a group of 5 gray wolves in a row. XD Anyone who has seen any MAN WITH A MISSION videos knows that they wear masks during their songs! XD

I'm REALLY good at remembering things UNLESS it's one of the things that doesn't stick for some reason. For example, I'm pretty good at learning new languages (when I actually remember to do it every day) BUT for some reason Spanish does not stick. I'm really good at memorizing codes for items in our store, even the long ones, but I cannot remember the short number for multi colored peppers or green peppers for the life of me. Which is why when I tell people "I actually don't remember X" they stare at me with a "why are you lying to me?" type of response. RIP

Quick reminder that long-time grocery store workers won't judge you for coming in looking like your bed fought you and won and then your clothes decided to destroy themselves but we WILL judge you for putting frozen/cold items on a random shelf or for putting something in the wrong spot intentionally when you're literally still in the same aisle or within 10 feet of where that item came from.

I guess my dad saw our dogs wanted outside but didn't connect the dots that I was grabbing my bike to leave for work. As I started pedaling away, they were chasing me on the other side of the fence like "hey, wait. Wait. You forgot me. Don't leave!"

American songs I listen to are typically pop and rock songs starting from the 2000s my lifetime and various types of music from my parents' childhood.
Japanese songs I listen to are almost exclusively j-hard rock and j-metal, with a bit of regular j-rock thrown in for good measure or something, lol

There's something amusing about me telling parents of kids (customers I'm comfortable with when there's like no line and co-workers alike) about my relationship with my siblings as a kid. They almost all go "Oh no. Oh god. Oh..." because it consisted of us saying VERY morbid things, throwing things out the windows as a group project, eating birthday cakes the day before a birthday, getting into dumb places, and a LOT of my siblings tricking me because they hated having a sibling who acted like I did (which to everyone's credit, I was an undiagnosed autistic child so some things got weird and some things they just thought were me being weird but was just me trying to have any relationship with another child since I had very little social time at school due to my autism). Like, my sister shoved me into a bookshelf stereotypical bully style while I was playing pretend. Not cool, but also perfectly normal as far as our childhood experiences went.

Ugh. Existing. I took my bike to work today (mixed it with bus commute to make it easier on me), waited an hour for my shift to start once I got to work, then worked what ended up becoming a 9 hours long shift, then biked home with good enough timing and the determination to cut 10 minutes out of the normally 25-ish minutes long commute.

You know public transportation is trash where you live when you have to arrive 1+ hours early to where you're going to get there on time.

My knee has hurt constantly in one specific spot for the last few days and it S U C K S. I say constantly, but I guess it's more like it hurts if I sit or lay down for long periods of time without moving but feels just fine if I roll around (like when playing with Clyde on the floor), riding my bike, or doing floor tasks at work like stocking, pulling, and cleaning. I have a guess as to what's causing it; it's probably caused by them making me to sit at the register and work it for hours on end. My favorite lead has been letting me stand to work more often because he knows it's bothering me physically to work the register as much as I do, but that's like 30 minutes of work while the store is open and considering most of my shifts are 7+ hours long... it doesn't add up as much as I probably need.
