Welcome in the new year of 2019! We're now in the last year of the 2010s - I suddenly feel so old uff.
Many exciting things happened in 2018; we've achieved much during the last year and set some new records. Our server has already started calculating the statistics for last year, which will be follow in the next few days. But we won't stop in this new year, great things are yet to come! So let's get right into it:
Our popular Speed Click Event (SCE) system has received a major overhaul and is now being replaced by the Speed Click Saturday (SCS).
Every 4 weeks we will have an SCS where users have to make as much interactions during short time slots as possible. In these SCS you collect a new currency called
SC Tokens
(not tradeable). These tokens
can be used to buy eggs of the legendary Pokémon Victini and the
Guardian Tapu Pokémon!
The more you interact, the more tokens you receive!
During your first 1,000 interactions, you receive 1 Token per 50 interactions.
During your 1,001 - 2,500 interactions, you receive 1 Token per 75 interactions.
During your 2,501 - 5,000 interactions, you receive 1 Token per 100 interactions.
Above 5,000 interactions, you receive 1 Token per 200 interactions.
This limitation resets in every new time slot.
Also, you no longer have to sign up for this event - and there is also no longer a maximum of participants. Just join whenever you're online and you receive a notification that an SCS slot is about to start! (Setting can be turned on/off on the SCS page)
A new forme-change item can now be found in mystery boxes: The
Old
PokéDex is an item that changes regular Rotom into Dex
Rotom.

Similar to the Swords of Justice trio and Hoopa, Missing No. is now also auto-shiny on every 50th egg that you hatch of this species.
If you've already hatched more than 50 Missing No. before this change (check your PokéDex), then please send me a link to one of them via PM so I can change them into a Shiny retrospectively.
In our new year's announcement post of 2018, I made quite a few promises of what to expect from last year. And I'm happy to announce that we were able to keep all of them!
And this year we're planning to top it all: During last month, I had several very productive meetings with our staff members in which we discussed ideas and decided on fixed plans for 2019 (these meetings took a little over 10 hours in total!). We've created an extremely long list of community contests, awesome Event Pokémon and exciting new features!
We have already started working passionately on these big projects in the background and we're very thrilled to present them to you very soon.
