Just out of curiosity, I seem to only get eggs during periods I make interactions. Is that coincidence or do I have to interact to get eggs (such as train le pokemon)

I either missed it, or it hasn't been asked yet, but:

Is there a higher chance of getting event eggs when an event Pokemon is put in the Daycare with a Ditto? Or will it generally have the same chances as normal?

The only way to increase your chance of getting an event egg (I think) is putting two event pokémon together. I'm pretty sure Ditto would act as the non-event counterpart.

@Catlady
Ive bread salamance and Lord salamance and gotten both event bagons and regular. Does this mean you dont need 2 event?

My question was if you breed ditto and mewtwo do they come out regular or mega? Can you sell them?

No, you only need 1 event, otherwise some events wouldn't be breedable ;) 2 events increase your chances, though.

They'd hatch regular; the chance of hatching a mega able Mewtwo is the same (random) chance as any other mega able pokémon. And no, Mewtwo cannot be traded, so they can't be sold.

Does it effect the chance of hatching an event pokemon if you have two different event pokemon?

I know it's a low chance anyway, so it's been hard to check through trying it out haha

(Ex: Perchaun and Witch Vulpix which are both in the Field egg group)

Well, they'd both have the rarity "event", so I think it would count as an event-breeding pair, but the chance of getting the specific event you want, is like a normal + event pair.

(So, chance of event would be higher, but the chance of getting the specific event would stay the same... I think)

Thank you~

And I was speaking of an event as "Either one" instead of a specific~

Can a male event breeding with a female non-event produce an event Pokemon?

Yes. As long as one of the parents is an event, there's a chance of getting that event egg.
(Just know that you increase your chances of getting an event egg, if both parents are an event)

if you put 2 events together, there's still a chance of hatching regular pokemon?

Yes, you still can get eggs of the regular Pokemon and not the event Pokemon. By putting two event Pokemon in the daycare you increase your chances by a bit to get event Pokemon eggs, but it's not guaranteed that you will get more.

Title: Gems vs Everstones

As per the front page of this thread, giving each an everstone increases the positive results.

A while back several friends recommended giving them relative gems instead. For example breeding Charizard and giving them fire gems etc.

I want to breed Yanma/Yanmega and was curious about flying/bug gems and several people were thrown by this.

Any insight greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

So I have quite a specific question about breeding events:

First, mr bagon is just male, there is no female.
So, if I have a perfect match of a male mr bagon and a female bagon in the daycare, every 8th egg would be a mr bagon, correct? (since half of them from the bagon will be bagon, a quarter from the mr bagon will be bagon and a quater would be events, but half mr bagon and half van bagon)
So it would actually make more sense to put in a mr bagon with a ditto, they would get alog very well (different OT and everything), because then every fourth egg would be a mr bagon.
Or is the difference in egg rate between perfect match and getting along very well more than twice as many?

I'm confused? There is no exact number of events you'd get from a pair. You can increase the chances by having a pair of events but since mr bagon does not have a female ver, you'd have to use ditto/female bagon like you'd said.

Theoretically, female bagon would get you more eggs but ditto would get you more eggs with the chance of being a mr bagon (but with a decreased egg rate). Keep in mind that van bagon can also be produced from mr bagon ^^
