The max. chances could use a bit more details. Because the base max chances are 1.25% / 2.5% (normal / premium), and the max chance of 1.325% / 2.75 % are caused by the shiny charm. (1:40 is 2.5%, btw, not 2.75%). Perhaps a table with all combinations [normal/premium] x [no charm/charm] could be useful?

Hi, could I get some clarification on this? According to the formula on the wiki page, the shiny charm increases max chance by 10%. This would mean the max chance without premium should be 1.375% instead of 1.325%?

(And technically, if I did the math correct, as the chance without premium and shiny charm is truncated [1.2537...%] the chance without premium but with the charm should be 1.379% if its correct to three decimal places...? Not sure if the given 1.375% is due to a cap or rounding)

On this wiki page it says that you need to wait 24 hours for the gem cauldron to be fixed after paying 50,000. This is no longer true. You don't need to wait any time.

Under the Safari Chain in the wiki article: Safari Zone:

It states there that:

I just wanted to confirm if the bolded statement is true. There are no other places in PH that I saw support this claim except for this article.
While hunting my first vivillon, which is the icy snow variation, I've religiously followed the statement in that article. Meaning, after catching forty vivillons in a row, I stopped catching the same vivillon believing that I have already maxed my shiny chance. However, days then weeks then months have passed, and I still haven't encountered a shiny vivillon.
Doubting the information on the wiki, I started catching the same vivillon until I reached around chain 80 when finally I caught a shiny version of it. ~~I recall making a feed of how it took me a year to get that shiny vivillon.~~

With that, based on my experience, I'm just curious if the information displayed in the wiki is true or if I just had a really bad luck upon hunting that vivillon.

The Safari chain behaves like a Pokeradar chain, or it should - if you break the chain you need to restart catching the same pokemon, yeah?

If the safari chain doesn't break, and you're saying it took you ~120 icy snow vivillion to catch a shiny one.. Trust me, users have had much worse shiny chains. While you reach max chance that doesn't guarantee a shiny.

If the wiki is wrong though, my bad.

@LeoTheLion- Yep, I'm fully aware that reaching chain 40 doesn't guarantee you a shiny. :)

However, what I'm wondering is if the shiny chance of having caught forty vivillons is the same as the shiny chance of having caught 120 vivillons. Cause by the information in the wiki, it should be. Since reaching a chain of forty guarantees a max shiny chance, meaning, after forty, no matter how many vivillons you catch, the shiny chance still stays the same.
For this reason is why upon reaching forty, I never bothered catching vivillons before. I mean, why would I catch more vivillons and risk myself of catching a wrong pattern if no matter how many vivillons I catch after forty, the shiny chance still stays the same?

@Skyllion: It says how to fix it and it's waiting time, not the waiting time between boiling... or is there no waiting time at the beninning anymore? I can't check it beause I unlocked the feature already years ago.... or I will have to ask Riako about it...

@~razpberry: the part about reaching max chance at a chain of 40 Safari Pokemon is from Riako himself. I think he posted it in a feed once and I immediatly added it. So I don't think the chances are getting higher after 40. You can just sit and wait for a shiny to appear when you are at max chance, you don't need to catch any more and be afraid of breaking your chain accidentally. Most users - me included - noticed that a shiny appears between 40 and 120 catched Pokemon. But like I said, it's not necessary to really catch them. It's just what we saw catching them as we have a number on the chain.

Found this while looking up how the breeding mechanics of the fusion event mons work.

Eclipseon can't breed (it's 'undiscovered' in the Dex), so it looks like the DayCare-page is wrong.

On the page for the Shadow Radar, the 3rd paragraph in the "How it works" section reads"Tip: Remember the field where you had you last Pokémon fight. The longer the distance between this field and the field of your next fight,-". The error is it says "where you had you last" and it should say "where you had your last"

On the Mewton M. Meowth page, some info regarding the shiny is incorrect. You do not need the EggDex of every other shiny Mewton to unlock it. You only need to complete every goal, which is also stated in the original news post.

The egg sprites are missing on all of the Mewton pages.
