Let's say you need quick money, you put a shiny in auction house but you can't wait 1 hour, you can put a: "Buy Now Price" and let's say you put it at 500k if someone wants to give 500k for it he can buy it directly!

Note: The "buy now" price is OPTIONAL

Edit: If a bid is higher than the buy now price, the button for buy now will be removed from the auction

I like this idea, but at the same time I can see it being abused.
If the bidding price reaches the buy now price, what's to stop them from clicking buy now instead of bidding? Or if the bidding goes over the buy now price. Or if people use this feature to sell pokémon instead of the trading and sending PD (which then allows the chance of others to snipe the deal.)

Maybe the button could become 'inactive' once the bidding price is within 10% of the buy-now price?
It's a nice idea, but it wouldn't be a guarantee for quick cash...

No Support
(It's not fair with the other users who want the auctioned PKMN)

Or you could just sell your shiny for 500K to someone? That'd be rather instantaneous.

And if you want a speedy auction, make one in GTS, people tend to see that and make posts with offers quicker than in auction house (considering snipers and the wait time)

So no support.

Hm, I can see how this can be helpful for some user's, who aren't online very often and can only bid on very few auctions. But this kinda takes away the fun from auctions, doesn't it?
In my opinion, bidding (on the last few seconds) is very exciting and it's really fun for me being outbid in the very last second. And this "Buy for a fixed price" is more something for our GTS forums.

I think this should be in a separate section of Auctioning, because, if it was with the actual Auction place it would ruin everything, and the rich can buy stuff easily.

But maybe, you could at least buy it 4x the price of the Bid? Let's say the starting price is 1000, so you have to pay 4000 to insta-buy it, but some people don't want to waste a lot, so they would bid instead. So, if you bid 1500, you MUST buy it for 6000, so they insta-buy price increases if the bid increases.

That might help the economy of PH in auctions, because 4x the price seems fair.

Book, I kind of disagree with your suggestion. Because what if the current auction is at 500k, that means the person would have to pay 2 mil. credits to auto-buy the Pokemon. That would be a crazy amount just to automatically buy it for yourself.

maybe you should make it so when you set up an auction you can set the price for the buy it now price once someone bds higher than the buy it now,and maybe the buy it now could have like 5 minutes to say someone is being outbid so it would be fair and not the first person to click

ptoung- Yes, I agree with you, but then it would be just like Queen_Pumpkaboo said. Just get someone to trade 500k for your shiny to you. The GTS is probably the easiest way to do this.

@Doop. Then, what is a more "fair" way of instantly buying Pokemon? Doubling the price is nothing, because a lot of people have more than 500k, and tripling the price is kind of odd. I really think quadrupling the price is the most "fair" way of insta-buying.

You know what's an even more fair way of instantly buying something? Buying it from the GTS trade thread :/ it might just be me but I still don't understand how this suggestion does more than make people spend more money than need be. Why would I spend four times more than necessary when I can just buy off of someone in GTS? And why would I set up an auction with instant buy when I could just instantly sell my Pokemon normally?

Either I don't understand or this idea doesn't appeal to me. So no support unless I'm missing something.

Just setup a trade in the GTS and have somebody send you that amount of PD. I don't see the point of this suggestion; there's already a few ways to sell off your pokemon.

I like this idea, though I do agree with others on those who are bidding.

What about like a "Direct sale" are for auctions? Another website I am on has Auctions, Direct sales and Reserved sales. I know this means more coding, but I do like it. Just another idea to the Auto buying idea.
