Rita and Kyu had boarded the train and were looking around at all the fancy materials lying around. Platinum doorknobs. Tables of mahagonay. Crystal chandaliers, and so much more. Kyu looked down at Molly. "Are you blind? Is that why you have a dog?" She didn't sound rude, but rather curious.

"No, I have a dog because I have one." Molly mumbled, directing his eyes flatly towards whoever was talking to him. He didn't want to seem weak in comparison to everyone else, as admitting his weakness would only end up in a target getting painted on his back. When he turned to finally face Kyu, Molly had to bite back a gasp at the sudden image that hit his mind, a pretty dress with pretty trims and a few hair clips, before it was gone as quickly as it came. Swallowing his suddenly dry throat, Molly held a hand down and felt Squall nudge against his palm. "He's my district token. You can pet him if you want?"

Tazuli stepped into the train as she looked around, she walked around looking at everything as she heard Molly and Kyu, she mostly ignored them though as she continued looking around, she was honestly quite amazed of the stuff there, how much money did they spent on this train anyways? She never really seen such fancy stuff so she was walking around the entire train just looking at those fancy materials everywhere

Kyu laughed lightly as she petted Squall, who seemed to enjoy the child's attention. Rita tenativly petted Squall as well, a bite mark on her arm from a dog. . .or a wolf was visable. Molly could tell these two were just kids, the youngest the tirbutes could be.

From the laughs the came from the two, Molly could tell that they're ere simply children and his heart was heavy for them. They didn't deserve to go through something so awful at such a young age. "What are your names? I'm Chrysomallys Athamas, but you can call me Molly. I'm from district 8." He introduced himself, trying to make the two at ease.

"It's nice to meet you two." He smiled and sat on the ground beside them. Squall panted heavily and delighted under the attention, rolling over to expose his belly for some tummy rubs.

The bright flash of pink coming from Tazuli's hair caught Gateguard's eye quickly and he adverted his gaze hands coming up to twirl around his own burgundy hair. Bright hair attracted so much attention, it was good for garnering sponsors but not so much in the arena. Already, he was brewing up ideas on how to gain sponsors and a reasonable score for the auditions. He needed to survive, and the best way would be by making allies. So putting on a smile, he walked up to Tazuli with a smile. "The capital really went all out on these train cars, huh?" He started off lightly

“Yeah...it sure is” Tazuli said as she quickly directed her attention towards Gateguard, no one can trust each other in this, he could be potentially trying to use her in some way for all she knows, besides no one really talked to her first, she didn’t want to trust anyone either so she was trying to be careful in avoiding working together with him or something without seeming suspicious

Kyu the noticed all the food layed out for them, all of it dishes she'd never seen in her home district. She went over to a pie and took a bite. It was the most deliecious thing she'd ever tasted, it was bursting with lots of flavor.

Seeing Squall friendly put Rita's mind at ease, so she gave the good doggo some well deserved tummy rubs.

Humming, Gateguard could sense that Tazuli probably wasn't interested in ally making which was fine. He would respect her wishes but stayed close nonetheless. The others were busy mingling with each other so he simply got some food and offered them wordlessly to Tazuli.

Smiling at the happy chuffing Squall was making, Molly rubbed a hand over his companion's snout. ""Do you like dogs?" He asked, unknowing that Kyu had gotten up to get some food.

Tazuli slowly walked away from Gateguard without saying a word, it wasn’t like she was trying to be rude or anything, she just felt a weird vide from him, she slowly grabs some food and took a bite, it was basically the best thing she ate in the world, though she didn’t really say anything either as she walked further away from Gateguard

Rita nodded, "I do, they make great pets."

Kyu was still tying some of teh diffrent foods the train had to offer, but only took a bite of each knowing that she wasn't used to the rich fare and too much would make her sick. "Guys! This food is amazing!"

Grimacing, Gateguard supposed he tried and that amounted to something. Popping the food in his mouth, he had to refrain himself from making any sounds at the sheer deliciousness of the food. He had never eaten something this amazing, the crisp tastes blooming over his tongue. Ignoring the looks Tazuli was now giving him, he continued to stare at the walls of the carriage, mind wandering back to his family.

"I know right?! Squall, that his name, is such a good boy." Molly nodded enthusiastically, laughing when Kyu came back with treats. "Pace yourself, Miss Kyu." He reminded her with a smile. These two were nice, he thought, he wasn't used to people actually wanting to talk with him.

Rita stopped petting Squall to take a small bite of a sort of casserolle that Kyu had brought over. "Mmm. I hate to say it, but this is better then mom's."

Chakti suddenly became very awake, and very panicked. His arms shot out, grasping whatever was closest with a death grip, and a loud "Tiiiaaidiii!" came from his mouth. He was panting, sweat dripping down his forehead and face, getting in his eyes. He heard other people talking, and realized they would probably be looking at him next. He tried, unsuccessfully, to calm his breathing. His death grip remained, although he had no idea what he had grabbed.

Laughing at the statement, Molly heard the clinking of tags that notified him that Squall had rolled back over and was now looking quite interested in the food if the rhythmic thumping on the train floor was to be believed. "Is your mother a baker?" He ventured, flinching at the loud song that suddenly rang through the carriage

"Quiet!" Kayda orders. "Now is not the time to show weakness" she had been startled by Chakti's outburst, but she hid it well. She lightly shoves him down so he is sitting again. She glances over at the next cart warily. "What are you so scared for?" Kayda asks with an amused smile

Harlow simply holds Leaf in her arms, she gently rubs her back to help soothe her

Tempest hears noises coming from a cart, a few carts down. She steps into it, her eyes landing on Gateguard, Tazuli, Kyu, Rita, and Molly. Lots of people, this would give her a good opportunity to figure them out. She hasn't yet recognized Gateguard as Shion's brother. She moves over to where the food is, checking it out but not actually grabbing anything. Even though all she wanted to do was grab as much as she could. She forgot to eat this morning.

Chakti quickly removed his hands from... From what? He looked and saw small gouge marks in his seat, then looks back at Kayda. He swallowed, then wiped his face and tried to calm his breathing once more. He managed to choke out a small, " Where? " before relaxing his body slightly and making successful eye contact with Kayda.

Tempest might not have recognized him, but Gateguard definitely recognized her. Shion's hunch had been right, his herd had been shove snack into the arena once again. Gateguard snarled slightly at the gross injustice of it all but squared his shoulders for yet another attempt at socializing. "Hello there, you're Tempest, right? From district 4?" He started off, moving in front of Tempest so that she could clearly see him.
