Adelaide managed to kill the spider she had pinned earlier, and deftly slashed another, knocking it back. One of the spiders managed to attach to her side, and sank fangs into her shoulder. It nearly made her drop her weapon completely. With a pained yelp, she hooked it on the end of her scythe and flung it towards Tempest. Hissing through her teeth, the Career was relieved that the bite was not deep. She took a step back, putting pressure on her wound to stop the bleeding.

Tempest has no trouble killing the spider. It seemed like the spider was too busy targeting Adelaide and Gateguard to even think about fighting her. She'll have to remember this, it could be helpful later. She turns human and quickly rushes over to Adelaide. "Are you okay!?" She asks her anxiously.

Upon death, the spider poofed into air, another spider that Tempest killed also poofed but dropped some string and a spider eye.

Julian was much faster then the drowned, and it appeared their aim was bad so long as he kept moving. Once he surfaced he quickly climbed a tree about five blocks (minecraft messurment) from the ground, to his relief the drowned with nothing on them just stood at the base looking up at him groaning, only one with a trident followed him and threw it at him. It missed his head by mere inches.

Azar smiled a bit. "Tell me about it." Azar shifted the last of the sticks and cobblestone and made a stone pickaxe for each of them. "There, I'm sure we'll find something good, maybe a vein of diamonds if we're super lucky." There was the sound of a twig snapping and Azar turned her head towards the sound, her gray eyes widening in alarm. "Did you hear that? I dont think that was a mob."

"Drop dead and die!" Gateguard commanded, voice compelling the spiders to freeze where they stood. Of course those who were about to attack were stuck in quite the silly pose but it was enough time for Gateguard to push one off the plateau they were situated on. "I have a first aid box." Gateguard offered once he spotted the blood trickling down his ally's arm. "I'll disinfect it, okay?"

Julian threw with his own trident in retaliation, knocking the offending zombie back as it crumbled away in a puff of dust and smoke. Breathing heavily, Julian leaned against the trunk of the tree, holding a hand to his bleeding side. "God, this is awful." He groaned, using the empty backpack to secure himself to the tree. He'd camp here for the night he supposed.

Adelaide hissed through her teeth, taking a few deep breaths and waving her allies off, "We need to block off the cave's mouth and light the area up. I have torches in my bag." Her shoulder ached from the bite, but it wasn't anything she couldn't deal with. "I'm fine."

Kayda shoots her light shards at Azar, Ashley is quick to react. She suddenly leaps in front of Azar, taking the worse of the hit. Ashley collapses to the ground, she is still alive, but barley. Kayda giggles at the sight. Poor Ashley is extremely torn up, the scene almost looks like a bad slasher movie, but it's not a bad slasher movie. It's real. "Oh, how cute. She gave her life to save you~" Kayda purrs. "Too bad it'll be short lived" Kayda says as she tosses another wave of shards towards Azar

"Are you sure?" Tempest asks. "God.. we don't even know if those spiders have venom.."

"Is That what we need to do?!" Gateguard asked, honestly quite surprised at that information. "I have a tarp if that helps." He took Adelaide's uninjured shoulder and gently lead her back into the cave where their packs were sitting. He kicked open the flap of his own bag and rummaged around to see if he had any medical supplies that he could use to treat the wound.

Something suddenly started to give a distinct chime, though faintly through the night sky as it slowly decended above Julian's head before his hand shot out and grabbed the. . .silver silk parachute? A sponsor gift! But already? It seemed awefully early. . .

Use with care, stay alive. We miss you and love you dearly.

With no hesitation he ripped it open to find a small jar of oinment that smelled like the ocean waves from home, he dipped a finger in and the throbbing vanished like magic. This was Pearl's homemade remiedy of healing oinments, no doubt that Pearl must've done lots of deep sea diving work to get this sent in. To Julian's delight the pain vanished and the bleeding slowed to a trickle, by morning it should either be a scab, a scar, or compeletly gone.

Azar put up a wall of fire to counted the light shards, giving a cry of anger she shot bolts of the purest fire at Kayda, several striking her but unfortunatly nothing fatal, but enough to slow Kayda down so that Azar could pick up Ashley and start running, leaving behind only their crafting table. But to Azar this was nothing compared to loosing Ashley. "I'll fix you up! Just hang on!" She begged holding onto one of Ashley's hands.

Rose flinched as she heard yells. She armed herself and crept forward, quickly changing her outfit to better blend in, as the two girls run in front of her, not noticing her. Rose does nothing, she sees one of them are injured.

Kayda glances down at the crafting table in confusion. Whatever that is... It may be useful. She'll bring it back later. "Girls~!" She calls as she treads down the trail they had just taken. "Come out, come out wherever you are~!"

Ashley grimces in pain. She is close to death, she knows it. She calmly grabs Azar's hand, stopping her. "Please" she whispers. "Don't leave me-" she flinches again. "I love you Azar" she whispers. "You have to fight and win for us. Survive for me" she coughs, but she is careful to hide the blood that came up. "Be strong for me" she begs

Rose watches as the girl dies. She says nothing, continuing to watch. She hears what sounds like a career, in the distance. "Hmmm." she wonders what to do.

Reading the note, Julian teared up, holding the note close with a smile. "God, you're so sappy." He laughed, brushing away a tear. He missed his family so much damn it but the note mad him unrealistically happy. There were two seashells and three smaller shells drawn beside the note at he knew that Sorrento had obviously drawn it. His heart clenched at the reminder of home and he allowed himself to simply curl over the small note and medicine and let his family's love wash over him. If anyone was to see him, it would be embarrassingly sickening to see the scene, a career in a moment of weakness. But Julian couldn't bring himself to care, carefully folding the note before tucking it into his locket.

Tear prick Azar's eyes as Ashely gives a weak smile and gently sets her down unknowingly by some flowers. Some fire from Azar gently licks away the blood and slowly healing Ashley's wounds but Azar's too emotionaly unstable with her heart being torn apart, it's not working as effectivly as it should. "Please stay. . ." Azar beggs weakly holding onto Ashley's hand as if this would be enough to keep Ashley alive. "I love you Ashley. Don't leave me alone."

"She's gone. Or about to be." Rose said, speaking up, her voice brisk. Her bow in her hand and an arrow cocked. "I'm sorry." she adds, seeing the girls face. Her pale hair changed back to pink.

"There you are!" Kayda shouts as she bursts through the trees. "Did you really think you could escape me when you were leaving a blood trial!?" Her eyes fall onto Ashley's motionless form. "Aw.. is she dead?" Kayda asks in mock kindness. "Oh? Are you mad? You seem a bit hot-headed..." She laughs. "This'll be a fun fight! Don't you worry dear, you'll be reunited with your loved one soon" she looks back behind Azar and at Rose. "Ooh, a double kill"

"Try me." Rose snarled. Her eyes are alight with rage. "You killed her lover. She wants revenge. I say we give it to her." she says, looking at the girl. "And we'll start with a nice arrow." she says with a wicked grin. She shoots the arrow past Kayda, setting of a trap she had set up with some cobwebs. "Run." she said to the district 12 girl, narrowing her eyes.

(ps this is just so she and the other girl can escape not to kill)

"Pfft" Kayda ducks and rolls underneath the arrow. It does activate the trap but she is able to escape it. She opens up a palm, summoning a orb, it flies in front of the two, blinding them. Kayda smiles and kicks Rose. "Nice try" she growls. She walks over and grabs Azar roughly by the arm. "But I am gonna have my fun!" She shouts.

(Don't worry, Azar or Rose won't die. TGG has an escape plan set)

"Eat this you-" she says some very rude things, as she punches Kayda, or at least tries. Rose rubs her eyes. "I hate light." she mutters. She kicks the girl away from her and backs up. She lets out a stream of loud curse words.

Tears slip from Azar's eyes as Ashley's canon fired, as if confirming what Kayda gloated. Azar was about to stand up and fight Kayda when she heard the hiss of a Creeper. Acting quickly she threw up a flaming dome around herself and Ashle's body, Kayda wasn't as lucky or swift. Kayda only had enough time to turn and see the Creeper before it exploded and sent Kayda into a nearby tree, several more were on Kayda's tail compeltey ignoring Azar. Azar took the opertunity to cut Ashley's pack from her back knowing full well Ashely would want her to have it and kissed her on the head a final time before dropping the shield and running back the way she'd come, taking the crafting table and anything she'd left behind before running into the Jungle area.

The Capital anthem started playing as the anthem seal apeared in the sky followed by faces of the fallen tributes:

Girl 2 from One: Killed by "Mutt malfuntions"
Boys 1 & 2 from Three: Killed by Gleen
Girl 2 from Five: Killed by Julian
Boy 2 from Five: Killed by Julian
Boy 2 from Nine: Paralyized by Games design (attempted to steal Leaf's bag), killed by Kayda
Ashley from 12: Killed by Kayda
Boy 1 from 12: Killed by Gleen

The anthem then disapeared along with the final flourish. Azar stumbled upon the village and pressed the button with a shaky hand and the iron door swung open for a few seconds then closed behind her. Azar collapsed on the ground in heartache and fatique.

Blood pours out of a gash that has appeared on Kayda's forehead. She groans. "I better not have a concussion" she growls. She is about to follow Azar and finish her off when she hears more creepers. Deciding to not test her luck any further, she races back to the Cornucopia, the anthem playing behind her as she races off. She smiles, feeling quite proud that she killed two people already.

Harlow suddenly snaps awake. It takes a moment for her eyes to adjust to the crumpled form by the door. She moves towards Azar catiously. All forms of cation go out the window when she hears her sobbing. "Are you okay?" Harlow asks as she crouches in front of the girl. She mentally slaps herself. Of course she isn't okay, she is crying and full of blood. But who's blood was this?
