Nico watched as Kardia attacked Lucy without acknowledging her. "Nevermind then." she muttered, clearly annoyed at the fact that her help was unwanted or unrecognized in this situation. She walked back over to Thorne, sitting down next to the male. "I'm just minding my business." Thorne commented as the other Bounty Hunter sat beside him.

Lucy on the other hand sneered at Kardia's attack against her, leaning backwards and telekinetically shifting her body back up in an attempt to dodge though somewhat failed as she was slashed against the left side of her shoulder as she leaned back. Upon rising, she spun whilst extending her right leg to kick her opponent, giving herself a bit of an extra strength boost with the help of her Telekinesis.

Crashing hard against a tree, Kardia didn't mind as she wiped away the blood trickling down her forehead. Her nails had bitten into flesh Wich meant the poison most likely was now running in Lucy's veins. The one she had chosen this time was a fast acting venom that would feel like ones body was burning from inside out. A nasty concoction but Kardia couldn't rely just on the toxin. Staying low to the ground, Kardia kept up the attack by constantly hitting upwards. Be it by kicking up or slashing or even headbutts, Kardia pressed forward to keep Lucy in the defensive

Lucy grumbled, quickly growing agitated of her forced defensive position against Kardia. Disregarding it initially considering she'd just been slashed, the stinging in her shoulder rapidly spread down her arm, to her chest and continued burning throughout her body. 'The matted dog's got some poison ability it seems too.' she thought to herself while keeping her body defensive. In the midst of Kardia's attacks, Lucy waited for a weak spot to show itself to her, finally getting an opening in between one of Kardia's switch of attacks from the shower she was delivering to her. In this moment, the Rogue diminished her defensive stance and squinted her eyes to telekinetically send Kardia rolling backwards to create some distance between the two of them.

"Cool parlor trick. Poison?" she commented, attempting to ignore the pain of the poison burning her body and the countless blows she'd endured via her current adrenaline rush. "I've got a couple more tricks up my sleeve too if you'd like to see." she offered. Before waiting for an answer, she clenched both of her fists to telekinetically immobilize Kardia and put strain on her bones and muscles. "I'm assuming you have the or- an antidote in the event you accidentally poison one of your teammates or yourself so, why don't we negotiate a deal? Give me the antidote and I won't break all of your bones right now." she offered, deeply breathing in an attempt to keep the poison at bay.

Thrown back in an instant, Kardia only had time to register that she had actually been blown away before being immobilized. The pain laced through her body as she bit her lip to prevent herself from crying out. Muscles strained as she tested the extent of her movement finding herself unable to move anything but her eyes and mouth. It was an annoying ability for sure but even with her bones broken, she could still fight. Somewhat.

"Sorry pretty girl. Unfortunately for everyone here, I don't keep dead weight on my person." She sneered, eye flashing dangerously. Although she would effectively be taken out of the fight, Kardia felt pride in at least taking a Rouge down with her.

"Wrong answer." Lucy said with a monotone voice, a clear indicator that she'd been upset. With her fists still clenched, she sharply twisted her wrist, telekinetically snapping the wrist Kardia had used earlier to deliver the poison to Lucy with her slash. Trying not to show it completely, she winced some as the poison continued to course through her veins and cause her pain.

Nico turned over, seeing Kardia huddled over and clearly unable to move at the will of Lucy's telekinetic force. She watched as the Rogue used her ability to break Kardia's wrist in the process and stood up. She squinted her eyes to channel her Empathy ability on the Rogue, sensing her worriedness and discomfort at the hand of the poison.

"Let's see... I'll start with your wrist; then I'll make my way to your other wrist; then make my way up to your arms; then for every flash of pain I get from your poison, I'll break one of your ribs. I could probably make my way all the way down to your little feet before this takes me out at this rate." Lucy taunted. "Wait, no!" Nico shouted from the distance. "I-I can heal. Let her go and I'll heal the poison from your bloodstream." Nico proposed, the Rogue cocked her head at the situation. Why would you heal someone you're supposed to kill? Figuring it'd been a bluff or a trap of some sort, Lucy smiled.

"Thank you, but I'd rather die than let someone with as many split ends as you heal me. Besides, my ability is literally to move things with my mind. Who's to say I can't just-- move the poison out of the wound?"

Synch returns to base, out of breath and without some of gear. "I was unprepared..... I need... to get out..... more and..... fight...." She says in between breathes

Hughes appeared behind Lucy and threw a punch, Straight at her head. She had been distracted with the poison and this new deal maker.

Luna turned to Synch, “No, You stay here. Lucy and Matrix can handle this one” She said slowly. “If they can’t, They will die trying” She said to Synch.

“Hmm... Looks like Lucy is handling this well.” She grinned, waiting for her next opponent. She probably broke some bones, but she could handle those. She looked over at Klifton, advancing towards the group. “Aw that’s cute. Sound barrier, eh?” She quickly ran in front of him, using her knife to break through the weak barrier, then tackled him to the ground. “You don’t look like a fighter. Guess what that means?” She pressed the knife against his forehead, slowly pressing down and moving it downwards. “You are an easy kill.” She was getting close to his neck, the knife leaving a long line of blood on his face. “Hmm, maybe I should spare you. You look cute when you are scared.” She noticed his heart racing, his breathing heavy. She had the knife point at the center of his neck. “Or should I not?”

Klifton was startled when the Rogue tackled him to the ground. He tried to defend himself, but he couldn’t. Once she had knifepoint to his face, he got panicky. “Are you crazy?!? Sparing me because I’m supposedly “cute”? What is wrong with you?” He sent a vibration throughout his body, knocking the Rogue off of him. He got blood in his mouth and nose, which wasn’t a good feeling.

Athena came rushing up to where Klifton was and bounded into the bounty hunter catching her in her jaws in the shape of a large hyena. She bit down as hard as she could, snapping bones in the process. The coppery tang of blood filed her mouth; in human shape she would mind, but in her predatory, animalistic mindset, she craved its taste. The shapeshifter realized that she hadn't gone hunting for a . while.

Letting out a brief shout of pain, Kardia hissed through clenched teeth. The pain wasn't the real kicker, as she could handle that. No, it was probably the humiliation at dying a slowly death in front of others that drove Kardia to do something. "Break all my bones then, I god damn dare you." She retaliated, showing off bite bloodied teeth. Focusing her energy into her powers, Kardia set Lucy's clothes on fire. While under no illusion that this would actually stop the telekinetic rouge, she would at least make it difficult.

Turning sharply at Synch's voice, Albafica nodded stiffly. "Good work." He offered blandly, not knowing what words would be appropriate at the moment

Matrix grabbed her knife and jabbed it into the hyena’s shoulder blade, grabbed her head and flung her away. She winced from the ripping of her skin as she pulled the hyena off.

[I've been running around all day and had an exam I didn't know about earlier so sorry about not posting, y'all.]

Lucy grumbled and fell forward as she was delivered with a blow to the back of her head. Despite this, the skilled Rogue was careful not to break her telekinetic grasp on Kardia. "You little piece of-" she growled, finishing the sentence with a swear word. The blow to her head combined with the poison had now rendered her unable to move much, grumbling in frustration as a result. Her fists remained in clenched position as she laid on the dirt, gritting her teeth to endure the pain. In a swift moment, she loosened her face and squinted at Hughes, telekinetically attempting to break one of his ankles though not entirely sure of the strength of it at the moment.

Nico, noticing the Rogue had been once again breaking the bones of the other Bounty Hunters walked over to the Rogue before her, forcefully grabbing her clenched fists and squeezing tight down on them. Lucy's eyes widened as the Bounty Hunter did this, unable to react properly feeling immobilized herself. Nico exhaled deeply, her hands wrapped around Lucy's clenched fists glowing a vibrant blue as she did so. She was healing her enemy of the poison.

*A man at the bar walked up to Talla* Hiya thur purty lady. What ara you doin' in thiz here bar alone? *Talla drank a shot and looked at the man. She smiled and tilted her head. Her eyes turned orange.* You mean lil' ol' me? *The man smirked and began to not so subtly scan her body.* You wanna come witdh meh upstars? *Talla stood up and put her head up to the mans ear. She whispered into it. Her eyes turned black* Next time you flirt with someone at a bar, *Talla stabbed his side and twisted the blade upon taking it out* know who you are dealing with *She wiped off her blade and put it in her pocket. She drank the last of her shots and placed a hundred on the bar* Drinks on him, *She slid the barkeep another hundred* and I was never here.*Talla stood up and left*

Klifton stood up and sent out a strong wave, strong enough to cause and earthquake. “STOP! THIS IS GETTING US NOWHERE!” He yelled. A shock went through his body, followed by pain. He looked down at his side and saw a twisted, three blade knife jutting out from his stomach. He didn’t have enough time to think before he fell to the ground.

“You are better when you’re dead.” Matrix said, her hand still in the air after throwing the knife.

"Wha- why are you healing her?!" Kardia squawked, eyes widening as she realized what Nico was doing. That was something unexpected and Kardia could only watched silently still immobilized by Lucy's powers. She didn't want to use her power again, her body already straining to work as normal. Scenarios flashed by, most of which labeled Nico as a traitor before she forced herself to stop. Speculation would get her no where at this point. All she could do was wait and hope that Nico wasn't on their side.

Dipping his head slightly, Albafica turned away to speak a bit more freely. "It was nothing. You did most of the work anyways." He replied. While Synch's power did match up quite nicely with his, Albafica found himself almost taking a back seat doing more regular tasks while Synch took on the wilder ones. Perhaps it was also a difference in their personalities but Albafica couldn't help the small seed of envy towards the other.
