Today is the Academy's eleventh-year anniversary since its opening and you are a part of it's next generation.
It was approaching noon when the SS Victory finally drifted into the dock. On board the luxury liner were the newest faces of the Academy of Honour and awaiting them were several gorgeous clarence-styled carriages, all drawn by the regal Galarian Rapidash. A gentle breeze ruffles their manes. The scene itself looked like something from a fairytale. Lust, green flora; Pristine, golden sands. Everything was almost too perfect to believe that this isle was the host of an academy: The academy you had been lucky enough to enroll in.
It's your first year and there are lots of things to look forward to.
Make friends, rivals, and aim to excel in your classes.
There's always something going on around campus to keep you busy.
Your carriage awaits you, your legacy begins now.
Note: characters do not have their partners yet, nor can they bring any of their own Pokémon to the isle !

Leo groaned as he leaned over the railing of his private quarters. It was at least better than the dorms at least but considering that he was part of the debutante class, he was sure that they had upgraded some of the student facilities in the years that he had been away. Why the Headmaster had invited him onto their faculty two years ago, Leo hadn't really questioned it and accepted it under the condition that he wouldn't live on campus and only teach Sinnoh History. Now that he had been promoted though, he regrettably had to now live full time in the place, surrounded by work on all sides. At least he still went back some weekends...
Breathing out his woes, the curl of smoke caught his eye as he looked off to the side to see the SS Victory dock and students flow out, small and almost like ants from how far away they were. The 11th generation of this prestigious academy, he thought dryly, watching as they made their way off the boat towards the carriages waiting to bring them to campus. The Galarian Rapidash seemed well behaved at least so there wouldn't be any problem getting them up. A sad merp drew Leo out of his misery musings and instinctively his hand reached out to gently scratch Tove's chin, the soft purrs of the Hisuian Typhlosion easing his nerves as the overgrown mustelidae attempted to weasel his way into his lap. Despite his age, Tove always thought himself as a small Cyndaquill still a lap-sized pet even if he was now only a head shorter than Leo. "Spoiled." He grumbled but didn't complain as he sat down on the cold tiles, watching the new students stream in while giving his partner all the attention that he demanded. He dreaded the curriculum he would inevitably have to craft for the various levels of students, his new flashy title of Head Research Professor weighing heavily on his shoulders, but he buried them under the thick fur of his partner.
Whatever, he would stress about it later he resolved as he felt the crawling touch of other ghost pokemon crowding around him for attention. Gathering up the lost children who sought his comfort, Leo let himself bask in this rare moment of peace before everything would undoubtedly be thrown into chaos
The first thing that Vica noticed once they left the boat was the fact that Galar was way too warm. Much warmer than their home settlement, Still bundled up in Piloswine fur hand embroidered and woven as a parting gift from his family, the beating sun and lack of any cold winds meant that beads of sweat were already rolling down the side of their face. Very rarely did they come out of their assigned room during the trip, content with humming to themselves as they wove with their portable loom. Pulling down their hood and unwrapping their scarf from their neck, they took a careful breath in. and let all the nerves flow from their exhale. This was a new beginning, a new experience, and a place where they could just take the time they needed to grow and learn. To find what they wanted to do with life. To escape the confines of their small village and explore something other than the narrow paths set before them.
Having never really traveled any further than Snowpoint City, the only exception was when they took their license, Vica was eager to explore what the world had in store for them. Even the make of the boat they had been on was foreign to them, the wielded steel and sturdy bow so unlike the wooden dinghys and Seaking that were let loose in Acuity Lake and the surrounding Oceans. Rapidash that looked like they stepped out of an illustrated book of fairydust and dreams awaited them and they stared wide eyed with anticipation. It was almost physical proof that this was not just another delusion thought up of in another night of lonely wistfulness or a daydream maladjusted to the reality that confined them. It was a new beginning.
And as they stepped off the boat, their first beginnings started with them tripping and falling flat on their face
Stretching out weary limbs, Song BingLiu sat down on his luggage to take a quick rest. His bags were heavy, mostly with traditional performance clothes and other supplies with the essentials squished in between his craft. He didn't know how he stuffed everything into two luggages and a duffel bag but he would forever be thankful to his theater siblings for helping him pack. Humming out a nonsensical tune, he focused on digging out his crochet supplies from his bag's side pocket to work on. He didn't know what sort of pokemon would be his partner but considering that he had requested both the most common and uncommon type in the known pokemon world, there was quite a variety that was possible. He suspected a smaller pokemon might be given based on the fact that he was a coordination specialist and most small pokemon were better suited for such activities but he could never be too sure.
Still, no matter who he was paired with, first impressions were everything and thus a gift of hand crocheted clothes would be more than suitable in his mind. It also helped calm his mind, keeping it a pleasant nothingness as he let his hands work on the soft yarn spun from flaffy wool. It wasn't anything delicate like weedle silk from which much of his performance clothes were spun from but something handmade was always better than manufactured. There were so many new faces too, all of them chattering and moving towards the carriages that would undoubtedly lead them to the campus. While the best choice would be to join them as well so that they could meet their partners faster, Song BingLiu wanted to soak in the new environment for just a little longer if only to meet someone new.
Besides, there were so many people talking with each other as well, it wouldn't hurt to be a little lazy.

Aboard the SS Victory, she had spent most of the time seasick in her cabin, trying not to barf. She would've preferred to get around and socialize, but the rocking of the boat just didn't settle well in her stomach. She was glad to be on land again, although she almost fell backwards.
Silver was anti-social. Very anti-social. As soon as she got off the boat, she distanced herself from everyone else immediately. She stayed away from the crowd, glaring at anyone who came near. She studied the school in the distance, a small frown showing at her displeasure of buildings and crowds.
This was her parents idea. If it was her idea, she would've been staying back in Alola, not in this far off region. She could tell she seemed like an outsider from the moment she even arrived in Galar. They already felt weird; it was... normal temperature here. Not hot like in Alola, but not cold either. It felt weird to them. And would most likely continue to feel weird about it.

The only thing Orpheus waited for was his new Pokemon. He had already made elaborate battle techniques to teach it and had started analysing the best move combinations for each. He was pretty sure they'd become the best Pokemon trainer couple ever.
As they climbed down the stairs of the SS Victory, Nia was so busy looking at everyone and bouncing down the stairs that she barely noticed the next step. The next moment, there was no solid surface beneath her feet! A high pitch short scream had just left her mouth when she felt a strong arm grab her from behind, saving her beautiful face from hitting the ground on their very first day in the region.
Nia looked back, it was her little brother Orpheus.As they got down the stairs, she pulled him into a tight hug and kissed his forehead. He squirmed, but didn't protest. As she let him go, he glared at her with those deep golden eyes, the only feature similar between them. In a minute however, the tension eased and Orpheus's lips curved into a slight smile. Nia laughed, and holding hands with the person she loved the most , took her first step on the land where their new adventures would begin.

Amid these eager wide eyed beings stood a darling figure who fidgeted and glanced around with caution in every move. Eris Everlast is a rather cute girl, if you could look past the multitude of oddly blue scars. Dressed in a white kimono, white sandals, and adorned with a pink bow, she possesses glowing yellow gold eyes that could pierce any soul under white hair held in bangs and twin buns. As the ship docked, Eris lingered in the back, hiding her pale skin from the sunlight...

Amid these eager wide eyed beings stood a rather tall figure who was eagerly soaking in the sights around the ship. Nightrekra Shacordis is a rather strange girl, if you looked close enough. Dressed in a pink lacey dress, white and pink ankle boots, and adorned with silver accessories, she possesses large teal eyes that absorb all that is around her under long powder blue hair sweeping half her face with a red ahoge that hung down as well. As the ship docked, Nightrekra happily hopped and skipped down towards the carriages, bandages holding onto her black skin...

Cara was, in simple words, exhilarated. She was so so happy she got accepted into the school. The SS Victory was gorgeous, the campus grounds were gorgeous, and there were so many people to make friends with!! She skipped around the boat, happily chattering away to new people. Five minutes before disembarking, she stood in front of the mirror, humming as she retied her red ribbon. She had to look good after all! She disembarked after Vica, noticing the poor boy fell flat on their face. She helped the boy up, glancing him over for any injuries. “You ok? Name’s Cara Dolokovstrich!”
Andrea was bored. There were so many people to play with, yet then again… her social battery hadn’t been recharged yet. With a grin and a spring in her step, she skipped merrily off the SS Victory. Her cheerful disposition was infectious, and she greeted others with a bright warm smile. A slight glint in her eye, easily mistaken for a sparkle, black hair seemingly dipped in silver, paired with a rare flower from the Galar region, Andrea was a figure of beauty and charm.

She grunted as her hefty luggage caught up and fell against the back of her leg, causing Aerin to buckle slightly. But, regaining her strength, her trunk and backpack were safely off the boat. The Rapidashes looked like something plucked from the pages of a fairytale book, beautiful and shining in the midday sun. The bubblegum and pink coloured manes cascading down their necks, over the harnesses that bound them to each carriage. She knew one would be hers.

Speaking of the Rapidash...Orpheus's heart stopped beating for a moment once he took in the breathtaking beauty of the Rapidash who pulled the carriages. Their colourful plumage was just astonishing.
Nia was happier than ever being at that place in that moment. So many people! So many different personalities to mix with! It was just like a dream come true...She looked sideways at Orpheus and noticed him looking at all the other people with analysing eyes. Alright..some differences would never change.
Nia and Orpheus climbed onto a carriage and nearly bumped into a beautiful girl with rainbow hair and sparkling blue eyes. Nia just caught the girl's bag before it fell and held it out to the owner.
"Here's your bag! Really sorry about that, really clumsy of me...My name's Nia by the way, what about you?"
Out of the corner of her eye, Nia noticed Orpheus trying to hide behind her, gazing at the new girl all the time.

He glanced at the cream-colored, equine Pokémon with red eyes and a longhorn atop its head, similar to a unicorn. Its mane and tail were comprised of red and yellow flames, while smaller embers trail from its fetlocks. Felix made his last examine at the Rapidashes, then he made himself cozy in the seat. While waiting for the carige to move he thought about his adventure yet to be started...

"Dew of the Sea"

Lady Rosemary had pretty much spent her entire life either on or by the sea, so the trip had little effect on her, unlike those who had to hide away with sea sickness. She had spent the majority of the journey up at the bow of the SS Victory, just like in that one scene in the movie - The Titanic - about a ship sailing from Galar to Unova, only to hit a gigantic Avalugg and sink. Thankfully, the SS Victory did not sink. Whilst Roe was a competent swimmer, she cringed at the thought of having to ruin the new sundress that she'd bought especially for enrolment day.
Roe had returned to her cabin just moments before the ship pulled into the docks. Retrieving her luggage, she drags the heavy suitcase behind her with one hand, tightly gripping the straw-woven sun hat on her head with the other, as she steps off of the boat. There's a glimmer in her crimson eyes and her jaw drops in awe as she takes in the beauty of her surroundings. Excitement bubbled within her, and when her eyes landed on the fairytale-esque carriages, Roe let out a little squeal of happiness.
"Can students please make their way to the next available carriages! I repeat, can students please make their way to the next available carriages! We will be leaving shortly!"
An academy ranger calls out from the front of the crowd, snapping Roe out of her daze. 'R-right..!' she panics, internally, her feet moving promptly, weaving her in and out of her future peers quickly, in hopes of finding a seat. She arrives at an empty carriage at the back, the leading Rapidash giving her the side-eye at her flustered state. Roe slips into the seats, releasing her luggage, and finally being able to relax.

Mathieu on the other hand was running as fast as he could to make it to the carriage, "Oh no, I can't be late for the first day of school, I mean I already took the tour of the school a few days ago but the thing is that I haven't figured out who is going to be my roommate", Mathieu continued to run as fast as he could and soon he saw the carriages he knew he finally made it and soon he entered the carriage and took a sigh of relief while holding his backpack.

Eris quickly darted to one of the carriages upon hearing the announcement. She knew better than to be late, especially on the first day. This was a whole new region, with new Pokemon and a lot of potential for relations and connections. She just hoped it would be better here...
Nightrekra giggled as she hopped into the nearest carriage upon hearing the announcement. This was so exciting! She was ready for the academy life! Meeting Pokemon, learning, training, researching, it was all going to be a delight!

Aurora smiled at the rapidash. They all seemed mystical, but she was used to it; she lived in the Glimwood Tangle, after all. Galarian Ponyta and Rapidash were native there, and her family owned a few.
She heard the announcement and practically ran to the nearest carriage. There was someone already in it, she noticed, so she gave an awkward wave. "Do you mind if I sit with you?" She asked the pale white girl in front of her with an excited smile.

He was already in a carriage so he didn't matter about it. Shortly after that Felix looked at an student entering another carriage which seems be filled with another student also. 'Oh I didn't know you could actually enter a carriage already filled with other people...' but then he thought that THAT was a bit stupid concept. He leaned his head looking up at the vault of the carriage.'I can't believe , first day of my school and I am acting already like a worst student in the school. He covered his face with his hands. He was really frustrated. Fortunately, no one could hear his thoughts so he continued telling himself that he's fine. He looked away at the window glancing at other Galarian Rapidashes thinking it would occupaze his mind enough to forget everything what was stressing him.
