That's why some of the "bans" are actually dumb. This thread literally blew up and it's not good. I hope there will be war at hand.
I'm a Sobble user, I like Sobble and pasta. Oooh, Pasta type Sobble. Yummeh, I like roleplaying as well and I'm a PH fishing addict. I like friends, right now I'm the strongest because I'm Gojo Satoru. Or am I Gojo Satoru because I'm the strongest?

@Valkyrr: I agree with your views, but it isn't necessary that a human would move their mouse a bit while interacting, specifically Laptop users. Idk about other laptop users, but I can click on one place without pointer moving even a pixel. Then the system of warning based on mouse location would be unfair too.

@luckily and valkyrr

yup, i dont move my mouse too much as i click while holding it vertically against my laptop lol, bc i will get too fidgety and move the mouse off the button

also because apparently vertical mice (where your hand is held vertical instead of horizontal) is less taxing on ones hands, but i cant be botheted to get one

i think the frequency of the clicks is a better benchmark but that could also be randomised so idk. maybe data from a few users who click a lot might help idk

see, I get i could have used an autoclicker when testing this which is why im very intent on proving that it does happen, because then its just cases of "my word against yours"

side note: i also get that "why would anyone spend 20+ minutes on the verification page normally?"

i have a wireless mouse and sometimes i click while watching videos on the bed. if not for the fact that my bed faces my monitor this could have happened earlier

alternatively, if I have the interaction page window shrunk while i watch something else on my laptop, i might not see the prompt either

in fact, someone mentioned that many autoclickers make it through the verification screen as its one of the few things they have to do. people who are interacting legitimately are often multitasking when interacting

as far as I see it, the current system doesn't help if theres both false negatives (autoclickers not caught) and false positives (this entire thread), and the false positives are worse because now there's this entire controversy

even if the autoclicker only caught the most egregious, 100k clicks a day for months autoclickers, i would still consider it an improvement

If I'm on a computer I hold the mouse upside down so that the sensor doesnt get touched so it doesnt move the mouse. Laptop doesnt move cause it's a touch mouse and i just dont touch the pad. On my phone I tap the screen and 99% of the time i dont even look. I tap while watching TV or while walking around my house.

Tapping or clicking can be boring so i usually do it while doing other things.

It won’t matter if you “don’t move the mouse much” because it should detect even the smallest movement. A bot won’t move it AT ALL. It should also detect speed… obviously a person isn’t going to be capable of like 20 clicks a second. Which we see people “doing” like with the coin flip cheaters.

Maybe not perfect, but a much better detection version than “human didn’t look at screen for awhile, let’s ban lol”

I like the speed idea, but I have to disagree on the moving mouse part again. My pointer does not move at all, not even a single pixel, due to me using the trackpad instead of physical mouse.

Edit: I did a bit of looking online and if the site's code is made to notice and record each time you move your mouse, it is going to consume a lot of resources, possibly resulting in site even crashing.

@greenowl:

I only interact during mobile and still got banned outta nowhere lol. Doesn't matter what device you use, a ban is a ban

Recently, a user got permanently banned for having 3 auto-interaction-cheating warnings, 2 of which were expired.

I personally think 3 is too little an amount of warnings for a permanent ban. Seems a bit unfair, especially when simply leaving the interaction page open can possibly give you a warning.

The whole "expired" concept is misleading, when they aren't expired at all, and still count towards bans.

It would be better if expired warnings count as a "half-warning", instead of a whole. For example, 2 expired warnings + 2 unexpired warnings = permanent ban

[This suggestion is only for the auto-interaction-cheating warnings, as I have no idea how the other warnings work]
