Lena taps Lilith, pointing to her cut and frowning. Lilith takes out a small bandage, covering her wound. “Don’t worry Lena, I’m alright”
You know the first rule in combat? shoot them before they shoot you.
"Woah. I never did this before. Seems like my sisters training was really good, she is a master in battles." -Erik starts to smile as a wolf

Selaphiel rolled her eyes, but nodded anyway. "Fine. She can be part of the team. But if she tries anything, I'm booting her like I did Iteral."

He tugged on the necklace around his neck, a four pointed star.
"Hey, can you promise me something? You see this necklace? If someone other than me has it... don't touch them. Okay? Just... leave 'em be."

In the same time Erik was really happy that he could help these people escaping from the evil guards.
He keeps looking at the others and making a few steps back. "It was good helping them. I wonder if they need more help in their journey....".

In order to properly track. She would have to make her sense of hearing and smell incredibly sensitive. In places like this, her target couldn't possibly escape her. But in a crowded kingdom? She would have to mindful of her ability, as to not face a risk of going deaf or catching an unsavory scent. She could already see results. No matter how hard he tried, her target couldn't seem to lose her. She smiles, already anticipating the despair he must feel.
Suddenly, her prey comes to a halt. It didn't take long for her to arrive. She slows her pace, eyeing her target. Despite being in a hot environment, he was wearing a heavy hooded coat. It was difficult to make out his face under the shadows of his hood, but she was able to see a golden false eye from within the shadows. It glinted off the sun and made him look oddly menacing.
"Who are you?" He asks slowly. To his credit, he didn't sound afraid. But his heartbeat told a different story. She doesn't give an answer, it didn't matter, he wouldn't be alive long enough to share this tale.
Time seems to slow down as she unsheathes her katanas. Had it been anyone else, they likely would've perished. Her eyes, when the full extent of her ability was active, could pick up on subtle changes. It's what allowed her to see his movements. He moved with impossible speed and managed to close the distance between them in only a few heartbeats. Had she not drawn her katanas, she wouldn't have been able to block his jagged dagger.
He had been smiling, likely expecting to have landed this hit. His smile vanishes when he meets her iron blade rather than flesh. Dakota finally understood why a target like this was so expensive. He was dangerous and incredibly skilled.
-Yet he was no match for her.
The battle didn't last too long. Dakota slowly moves away from her target. For proof of her kill she had taken his false eye, as well as his dagger. A nice parting gift for her client. The second half of this payment would allow her to live lavishly for a few months. She could hardly wait.
Or could she? She pauses, shuffling her feet in the sand. She pivots to face a new direction. There were people nearby. What were they doing all the way out here? Let's find out, shall we?
he fiddled with the necklace.
