This applies to ANYTHING that has multiple variations, if being
bought in from the potions shop or used in a craft or even as a
regular potions. The different numbers are different
shapes/styles/placements, and I don't remember what items are
specifically stocked in the shop ay any given point in time.
With me planning to do something challenging, a concern between us
mods has arise and after talking with them, a new rule has been put
in place.
Example being if I decided to dance Arbor Snabris with a G2 ran, I
would have to contact everyone who danced with her for the go ahead
before I do it.
Why?
To avoid future family trees mixing. With many rans having 5-30
kids, having a G2 ran dance could risk something awkward. Even if
its never blood relatives, some people just dont want to worry
about who danced with what and get confused. Possibly making a
mistake where a G1 ran dances with a G2 ran who has a
granduncle/aunt that danced with a ran the G1 ran already danced
with before. Which already sounds confusing and I have tried
explaining this very situation at least 8 times now. Which is why
some people dont want to worry about it, cause its confusing.
You can still dance G2 rans freely if the other has never danced
with any ran that doesn't belong to you, just be aware dancing that
G1 in the future could pose risks, even if they aren't blood
related. It's confusing as mentioned above.
This also applies to G2 x G2 rans if the parents are someone
else's/dance with someone else's. It's very risky and you must put
***A l o t*** of time into thinking about it especially if they are
connected to a huge family tree. If that's the case it could
probably be better not to dance them.
TL:DR:
If your G1 ran danced with someone else's, you can no longer dance
said ran with a G2 without permission. To avoid making that
person's G1 ran related to rans they could've been planning on
dancing with.
