"Oh, I'm Eyre. E-y-r-e." she spelt out her first name, mainly because she knew people were gonna spell it as "air" at least once. "My last name is Cloud, which does make my name sound like air cloud." the lie came naturally to her. She had used the name for almost 7 years, so it almost was her real last name. "I can't believe I haven't introduced myself until now."

Faintly laughing at Eyre's attempt for a joke,he shook his head to regain control. "It's a pleasure to meet you." he nodded. "I hope this...unexpected...interaction didn't traumatise you,I'm sure it was a surprise to everyone..." Even though he was initially talking to Eyre, the last part was mostly directed to everyone. He felt a need to apologise, mostly to Alaparos, for using his fire magic in a forest but no one could have guess what would happened if he hadn't drawn that fox's attention.

"This is...quite the group, huh?" Azure remarked. "Quite the group of unique individuals indeed..." He had been watching the altercation from the distance, having felt no need to speak for quite some time...it wasn't as though he could contribute much to the situation anyways.

Arching an eyebrow, Alaparos said nothing letting the situation play out. There was a lot one could learn about others by simply observing and this was as good of a chance as any. Was this Derek fellow one to hold grudges and only showed kindness to those who would give him information or aide him as Alaparos had done, or was he one who left the world slightly better than it had been before each interaction he partook in? The sound of laughter though caught his ear as he turned around to watch his other teammates begin to joke around each other and he couldn't help but let his scripted smile fall in favor of a more genuine one. They were quite the group weren't they. But Alaparos didn't really mind, the colourful cast of personalities all clashing and mixing in an oddly warm kind of way. They didn't quite get along just yet, that would require some more work, but it was the beginnings of a team and that was all he could ask for.

Finch grinned. Such an unlikely group seemed close already, and she didn’t want to split from them. Whether anything comes from this or not, she was content with a new friend group which she might have the privilege of keeping. She would soon find that she wouldn’t be splitting from them for a while.

The rippling in the air thickened suddenly, noticeable for everyone around. It stirred the leaves especially, the wind becoming harsh enough to stir balance but not enough to knock even Finch over. It felt like something soft was brushing against them, something which was rustling and moving. Any keen eyes would notice a faint green light illuminating the clearing.

"Hey, talking is good and all, but the wind's suddenly picking up. Something might just be happening." Azure pointed out to everyone as he stood in a more stable stance looking up at the forest canopy. The feeling that this was a mistake grew by the minute the more he stood amidst the force that was pushing against them.

Helping Finch get back up,Hokori took notice of the sudden gust of wind. Turning at an angle so that the wind wouldn't mess up his hair,he just barely managed to spot the weird faint green light. "Those can't be fireflies, can they? There's no way they could resist a wind this strong..." It didn't seem like anyone was messing around or casting any weird spells so Hokori's best bet was that it was probably a sign from Oneiros. He kept that idea to himself, however,in case someone comes up with someone more reasonable.

Eyre pinned her skirt to her in response to the wind. With her other hand, she sheilded her eyes from one of her long strands of hair. Eyre took a small note to change into clothes better suited for the outdoors. In her defense, when Eyre woke up she didn't know that she would be traveling into the woods and join a ragtag group of creatures, all lead by some dude in a dream to meet in a forest. Whatever.

As she looked around for answers to the gust of wind, she noticed a light. A green, gently glowing light. Hokori had noticed it too, from his comment about fireflies. She wasn't sure what fireflies looked like, but it didn't seem alive to her, at least in the sense that it was an animal or plant.

Derek had turned to watch the light, the fairy fully vanishing from sight when his head was turned. No trick of his magic, nor that of the fae's. Vale dipped his head out of the canopy as well, his hood flat against his neck as he watched. Derek, however, was the only one to draw a weapon: his enormous sword was unhooked from his back and leveled before him, ready to slash at anything that dared to attack.

The sudden change in magic within the area knocked all of the air out of Alaparos' lungs, the added fact that the wind blew his billowing hair right into his mouth notwithstanding. Gripping his shawl, he very nearly missed the flickers of green as he focused on regulating his breathing to a more regular state. Perhaps it was his species or perhaps it was just himself but magical sensitivity had always followed him. In times like these, his sensitivity was more of a curse than a blessing. Currently he wasn't very strong both physically and magically so instead he chose to make himself less of a target for... whatever this was. With some difficulty, Alaparos managed to hike his legs up and under him so that was a much smaller target than the rest of the others. Not a hard thing to accomplish when you're only 4 feet.

Finch took Hokori’s hand and her other hand reached to the grass to hold on. If only she had brought her scythe, she could have hooked it into the dirt and held her ground... she felt a wave of dreadful regret. The wind wasn’t too intense, but it was definitely enough to bother her.

The wind started to relax, however the light got brighter. The centre was a vibrant yellow, growing, expanding, shimmering... It was somewhere between threatening and soothing, creating conflicting feelings as the blazing light danced through the clearing. It wasn’t long before a figure appeared, a tall, lanky figure with the outline of a sailor hat, small horns, a ponytail and a beak... That wasn’t all though, as they seemed to have large clawed hands with tufts of feathers or fur at the elbows and wrists. Some medium sized wings sprouted from their back as well as the tail of a bird. The outline thickened and with one final striking gust, the figure was fully revealed. An anthropomorphic black raven with a green-grey suit and golden shoulder pads, black trousers and large talons. Their most striking feature was golden eyes which surveyed the group keenly. A crooked smile inched across their face, delight in their eyes. “It’s great to finally meet you all properly? How are you?” That voice, that smug, taunting voice. It was Oneiro.

Azure's eyes immediately furrowed, upon hearing that voice. Now that he had shown himself before them all, he couldn't quite say he was pleased to finally meet him. Something about his voice and demeanour rubbed him the wrong way. He looked at the others briefly, as he slowly trotted to stand by Finch and Hokori. He stared at Oneiro with a cold gaze. "...you."

After a short audible gasp,Hokori bowed deeply in the presence of Oneiros. He was very tempted to beat some manners into the lycan but that would have to wait until Oneiros was gone. "We're all in perfect condition. There was an unforeseen encounter but that has been dealt with." Part of him was unsure about the last part but he had to hide it. There was also a part of him that wanted to ask whether or not the selection was random,if he knew them, why he called them. There would be an appropriate time for that as well but for now he had to restrain his curiosity and act humbly.

Eyre only showed mild interest in Oneiro's appearance. Sure, he was immensely powerful, as they saw with his little entrance, but power wasn't the thing that warranted respect in her mind. Nevermind the fact that she had delt with strangers bowing to her many times in her youth, and she hated it. She wouldn't be a hypocrite, even if Oneiro, simply by tone alone, might have enjoyed it. Especially if he knew her family.

"Didn't think you'd meet us in person. I thought you were stuck in that..." Eyre paused to find the word. "Dream realm or something."

Finch stayed dead quiet, button eyes wide and mouth stitched shut. She couldn’t think of anything even slightly witty to say, she just stood with raised eyebrows.

Oneiro swung his gaze across the group, flickering from face to weapon to... Eyre. “You have sharp ears,” He commended in a tone as sweet as honey, curling his clawed hands and eyeing them with that same pleased expression. “How’d you remember that? I’m impressed honestly, you could be a lucid... no, never mind,” He cut himself off again, landing on the ground and looking at his body as if he hadn’t seen it in a while, which might be the case. “I figured that if I gathered you all I’d be able to have a magical enough environment to generate a revived form, which I suppose is this raven thing you see me as,” He paused to swipe his claw through the air in front of him, “Not that I’m complaining.” He finished, chest bubbling with thorny laughter.

Finch finally managed to speak. “We’re fine.” She squeaked feebly, after all, she didn’t think she had anything to say to this stranger who might attack her, and she didn’t have any means to defend herself.

The raven simply laughed again in response, eyes narrowing as his pupils sparkled with a new emotion. “I already know how you’re all doing, and I probably know more about you than you do. Respectfully, of course. I lived in a shared Dreamscape for a while, and I think it was owned by all of you. So... I wouldn’t want any of you cutting ties.” His voice seemed to snake around the clearing and through the wind, smooth yet scratchy, low yet higher than air. He flapped his wings, suddenly seeming dismissive of the subject.

Returning to his usual, proud, posture, Hokori took a moment to process what Oneiros said. His new form,in the physical realm at least, could mean that he would support them. Upon second thought he realised that they would support him but that was equally something to proud of. "With all due respect,do you perhaps need any more time to get familiar with this form? It would be very dangerous to proceed unaware of its full potential." he calmly suggested.

“So you really are the one who appeared in our dreams.” Azure said. “Quite the intriguing experience... but with all due respect, may I ask what’s the problem with this...university? Something threatening the lands again?” Azure’s head tilted slightly before he laid down on the floor, fur ruffling in the breeze. He noted what Hokori said, and what Oneiros mentioned before saying; “Well...perhaps stability would be best first before questions can be answered.”

The moment that Oneiro finally appeared in a flashy spark of magic and light, Alaparos doubled over quietly heaving as he fought to catch his breath, the oppressive magic in the air faded into an aggressive hum. His ears were ringing and most of what was said passed through his mind as if he was underwater, muffled and indistinguishable from the magic surrounding the area. Letting his head fall against his knees for a moment of rest, he focused on breathing in and out, letting the familiar motion of respiration ease away the pinpricks dancing across his skin. With that brief moment of rest, no longer than half a minute, he rightened himself and glanced around. No one seemed to have noticed his struggle and that was... good. Yes is was good. He couldn't afford to show any more weaknesses than he already had. Smoothing out his clothing, his ears tuned back into the conversation of its own accord and he found himself frowning. Why was Hokori being so considerate towards this entity? Sure, the dazzling show of magical prowess left Alaparos breathless, both literally and figuratively, but was he really that big of a deal? Clearing his throat, he offered up his own suggestion. "Perhaps would us taking a quick rest be optimal then? This is simply conjuncture but as you were sealed away in the Dreaming Realm, would the ones you have gathered entering that realm provide you with more energy?" He proposed, still on edge around this newcomer. He hid his misgivings however, simply going along with the flow. If he was openly hostile, things would only be much more complicated than it already was.

With a single swing of his curious eyes over the group again, he gestured ignorantly for them to be quiet by waving his clawed hands. “Too many words, questions, sentences.. I’m tired of hearing it,” Oneiro grumbled, twisting his head away and curling his talons impatiently into the grass. He cocked his head to the side for a moment and then spun back around to face the group. “Hey, you all don’t mind if I unapologetically info-dump on you all again about my situation? Because I think I’m gonna do that anyways.” A crooked yet smug grin spread across his face as he shrugged, pausing for what can only be interpreted as him creating a pause for ‘dramatic effect’. Finch shuddered wordlessly.

"It's perfectly understandable. In fact,we were quite unsure regarding how to proceed." Hokori explained, placing his back against a tree. Since Oneiros would most likely talk for a long time, not to mention elaborating and giving background info,Hokori thought it would be wise to rest, even while standing. He tried his best to concentrate on what Oneiros would unfold given he couldn't even grasp what he probably went through.
