A narrowed gaze was shot Onerio's way but Alaparos turned back to
the group though one eye was kept on the crow like creature. "So a
key player in our plan may very well be this snakefolk. Apologies
but I don't believe we ever got your name. Thank you for stepping
up for me back there." He spoke to Vale, bowing as best as he could
while on the chair. The smooth pane of his mask was snugly back on,
tongue smooth and diplomatic as he fidgeted slightly nervously. He
almost shyly glanced at each member of their party, gauging their
moods. They all seem relatively well disposed for now, willing to
talk and co-operate among each other. That was good. He would have
hated for his own outburst to have shattered the tentative alliance
between them. Eyre also raised a good point and he nodded along to
the sea goat's assessment, though they didn't have nearly enough
information at this point to make any concrete speculations. "We
could err on the side of caution and assume all those who have made
negative headlines are potential curse bearers."
Guilty until
proven innocent that was the approach Alaparos' suggestion
aligned with.
