The Inanis University - a campus where students should have learnt magic where and dreams went to die. They want you to laugh until your chest is tough, not until you feel like violently hacking up every ounce of energy you might have had. They plead that no soul is pure, and every creature must endure dark periods to bloom into beautiful thorned roses.
Isn’t it strange how we nearly drowned for nothing? The darkness they thrust at us was up to our necks before I finally realised that their deep words carried an unsung shallowness.
That University is in ruins now. I simply won the coin flip, I beat their pathetic game. They lit the flame which tore through them like a wildfire.
I was the blaze.
You are aware that you’re dreaming, right? This is real, but it’s a dream. Consider yourself lucid, friend. I feel like we should get personal, don’t you? Hah, well I’m Oneiro, I’ll be in your head for the next... while. You see, it’s embarrassing to admit that I need your help. Don’t try and leave by the way, I will just paralyse you. Wait a sec, you can’t see me? That’s hilarious. I don’t care. So onto you helping me... ahem... This stunt I pulled was about five hundred years ago, so I beefed it looong ago. I overdid it and might have got myself trapped in the Dreamscape, which is here. I honestly didn’t know there were other people here. God, I’ve been so alone, the silence was unbearable. Why didn’t you find me before? What took you this long, you pathetic excuse of a— no, I must stop this spiteful act. I’m sorry, just.. please don’t wake up, you’re part of my only chance. Um... my point is that I can tell that the things behind Inanis University’s corruption are back. They’re corrupting.. people. And I’m quite sure they’re gonna try to get into power again. When I was around, they were called Curses, if that helps you. Oh, and you literally can’t say no to this by the way. If you hate this and don’t help me, I’m pretty sure you’ll die, or you can wait for me to give you a mental collapse. I know you’ve got time, you just graduated University yourself, didn’t you? Don’t test me, I know more about you than you do.
I want you to go to the woods which is sorta close to your old Uni, you know the place. Don’t let me down. Please, everything relies on this. Now wake up, don’t be late, friend.

Here is a synopsis of the content of
this RP.
Five hundred years ago, the Inanis University was built and promised to teach students magic beyond their limits, in order to protect themselves and others. People who devote themselves to this are known as Knights, using whatever magic or weapons they want. Everyone in this society has magic, but only some choose to use it. Actually, the University you left a few weeks ago, called Votum University, was teaching you how to use magic and how to fight so you have a pretty good handle on it.
As for society, it’s like ours now, but with more technology. There are many different races of creature, you can even make your own one up if you want. I encourage all creativity! If you use an existing race from already established media, please credit that media.
Oneiro took down some Curses who were corrupting Inanis University five hundred years ago and supposedly burnt it to ruins. Oneiro went all out and ended up dying as well, trapping himself in the Dreamscape. Present day, he’s found members of Votum University in the Dreamscape after detecting that Curses are now roaming in the real world. He has asked for these students to destroy these Curses, and he will aid them, however that might be.

Appearance: [X] Finch is very short (around 4’3) and very light, her body made of scratchy wood and hay. Her head is a rough cloth with hay and magic stuffed inside, piercing this head would damage her greatly. Her head floats above her body, connected by a very strong magical connection. She can move her head around and even putting walls between her body and head, which is her main way of avoiding damage. She has a brown floppy hat which is also stuffed with hay, some of the hay showing underneath and acting as hair. Around her neck is a collar connected to a brown poncho which has a red tartan scarf around. Her body itself is actually completely wood, and she has two arms made of wood under her tunic. Her fingers are disconnected to her palms, much alike her head. Her whole body is connected by magic, a combination of hers and her creator (see backstory :])
Personality: Finch is very playful and quite morally confused. She’ll do whatever she’s told to do, or whatever sounds most fun. She’s very unpredictable to those who don’t know her very well. She loves to meet new people and will definitely be compliant. Because of this, unfortunately, she doesn’t really know what to when people don’t tell her what to do.
Magic: Finch is actually made of magic, it keeps her body together. Due to this, she can heal her body parts rather fast. The downside of this is that she’s very defensively weak and is unable to wear any armour due to her weight. Other than this, she’s very floaty and agile, making her very evasive. Being a magic based race, she has an abundance of actual magic. She’s able to mould this magic into temporary shields, long ranged shots and general objects. These magic items can only withstand so much pressure (depending on how much magic she uses to create it) thus making them a bit unreliable.
Weapons: A farming scythe which is just taller than her. It has a long but sharp head and a jagged wooden handle. She often infuses magic into it to strengthen it so it doesn’t break.
Backstory: Finch was crafted by a toymaker called Wilson Jays whose family are a line of farmers. Wilson grew tired of being a farmer early and always dreamed of owning a large toyshop, so one day he ran away to achieve his dream. After years of studying and crafting, he made it as a toymaker, and made many little trinkets for children in many shapes and sizes. Wilson Jays became a well known name, so he decided to try something to change the toy industry forever - he wanted to make a magic toy. He created a scarecrow with the thought of his family in mind and then used magic to make her alive, this scarecrow being Finch. Finch quickly became the family Wilson had wanted since he left all those years ago, and the two had a close father-daughter relationship. Finch was inspired by how Wilson created her and did something new, so she finally told him that she wanted to be a Knight. Wilson was terrified by this, because his daughter could die. He told her not to, so Finch followed in his footsteps and ran away to become a Knight.

Race: Ophiotaurus Centaur | Pronouns: He/Him | Gender: Male
Appearance:
Alaparos is a large heavy set man with a sturdy build with Greek heritage. He has dark olive skin with smatterings of freckles as well as dark blond hair that reaches around mid back that is often tied up in a half pony tail framed around sea blue eyes. He occasionally wears makeup but keeps it light, limiting it to eyeliner and lipgloss. Both his ears are pierced and he has a septum CBR piercing, a plain leaf tatoo crawling up the left side of his neck. In his humanoid form, he is bound to a wheelchair and though he is capable of walking on two legs, it is quite painful and he prefers to use mobility aids to travel around. Outside of his human adjacent appearance, Alaparos takes the form of a Ophiotaurus with a double set of horns sprouting from his temples and a long serpentine tail connecting to his deer like front legs. He enjoys more feminine clothes and will often sport skirts in his humanoid form.
Personality:
Alaparos is a gentle where the others are cruel and empathetic where others couldn't give a damn. Alaparos is a gentle giant who would do anything to for those he feel close enough with, standing on the front lines not to fight but to protect the home he has made amongst the cruelty and sadism of reality. He is cheerful character bright against the drab scenery of the world, always willing to help out. He is the heart of any group he finds himself in, encouraging others and generally making the mood as cheerful and upbeat as it can be. He is very protective of creatures that are smaller than him which isn't a very high bar to set as he is easily taller than most. But sometimes he forgets that he's pretty big so he ends up bowling others over a lot. Do not be fooled, however, as he has his own brand of cruelty hidden under layers of kindness, cultivated over a lifetime of being used and lied too.
Magic:
Alaparos' magic is linked to a dog tag worn around his neck. This dog tag stores his magic and will continuously drain his magic as long as it touches his skin. Although it leaves the wearer quite tired, it allows for a great range of creativity as Alaparos is able to remotely cast magic through it. Other people can use the dog tag if they get their hands on it. One of the tag's primary functions is giving Alaparos a more humanoid body for ease of travel. You'd be surprised how hard it is to live, dragging around a 2k pound body and a 1.5 meter tail. As a member of a branch of the Ophiotaurus race, he is capable of seeing into the future but only when he is gravely injured. His race also gives him a physical edge over humans, capable of traveling much further and faster than the normal person, especially in water, with his blows packing quite the punch. Alaparos specializes in Cathonic Titan magic, his spells making him stronger as he sustains more and more damage as well as a connection towards the dead. He doesn't enjoy using his magic much however, so while it is powerful it is also volatile.

Personality:
As prideful and graceful as any Elf can be,Hokori has a short temper and a somewhat low tolerance for disrespect and ill manners. Also honestly? Inanis just comes from the Latin word, if it references anything else then it’s unintentional haha

Age: If you asked him, he'd simply respond with that he lost count.
Race: A large wolf...that still has traits of a certain legendary dog. The blue one. From that series.
Pronouns: He/Him
Gender: Male
Appearance: He has yellow eyes and deep blue fur , which slowly fades into a light blue fur in a steady gradient from top to bottom, but his fur is predominantly dark blue. In the fur which is more lightly coloured, he has patches of white fur dotted around in a somewhat organized pattern. There are pink lotus flowers behind his right ear, and rear left foot. As for accessories...he usually doesn't wear any. Why? Look at his personality.
Personality: If there anyone had a profile of him, he could be described in one world: lazy. In fact, he is naturally so lazy that he wouldn't have submitted a detailed report of himself in the first place. Just the bare minimum, if that. Probably have forgotten to include a picture of himself as well. Beneath that exterior, lay the mind of an intelligent individual with some leadership qualities, a powerful voice when needed, a mind for strategy and the like. The lazy demeanour in a way was a benefit in that regard; it is nigh impossible to make him panic, no matter what kind of situation is thrown at him. He would be excellent as a leader... but don't expect him to put himself up. Again; too lazy to do so.
He may be lazy, but he is easygoing, and fairly easy to talk to. You'd find he's quite skilled with his words, and his voice is comforting in many ways, being naturally soft. He is always willing to listen if you need to vent; such comes from his old job as a therapist. He isn't always the one to initiate conversations, but he's a lot more approachable then one might believe from his exterior.
Magic: Coming to Votum university refined his innate Water abilities, and allowed him to have some basic understanding of wind magic.. From casting controlled water attacks to using bubbles to heal. On the wind side, he can form blades of wind and launch them as well as form small tornadoes. It seems as though he is more skilled at healing. His signature offensive magic is named North Wind, causing the wind to pick up and rain to fall, before blasting the soul caught up in the attack with a jet of freezing cold water.
Weapons: He carries a small staff, which is adorned by a small sapphire. He usually wears it on his side.
Backstory: All that is really known about him is that he appeared in the world before attending Votum University. It is said he is trying to get back home...but refuses to say where. He is extremely worried about someone however. More then one person. He didn't really interact with many people at the university due to the fact the people simply didn't talk to him; which he never really minded.

Race: Poltergeist
Pronouns: She/Her
Gender: Female
Appearance: Her whole body is partially see through. Her legs are fully transparent, so to make it look more human, she used bandages on where her legs are.
Personality: Laid-back and childish and she still likes pulling pranks despite her age. However, despite that, she can be quite serious when it comes to completing tasks and is devoted to doing them, even if the task is as bad as it may seem, such as killing someone, though she stays silent about those types of tasks. She's sometimes seen as delusional, mainly by the fact that she can see other spirits and ghosts who are always invisible, unlike her, and starts conversations with them, not knowing that people can see and hear her half the time.
Her voice is naturally loud, being a Poltergeist and all. She often shouts without realising it and her laugh is really loud and obnoxious half the time.
Magic: She can turn invisible and do some telekinesis. Being at the university made her telekinesis stronger, so she's able to lift up larger objects, however that sort of stuff makes her really tired as it uses up a lot of her energy. Being invisible is another naturally inherited ability, and has it since she was young. The only problem with it is that it's hard to turn visible again, but being at the university helped her be able to turn visible easier and has sort of mastered it.
Weapons: Some dagger inherited from her father, from when he was still in the spirit world, it's full of lost souls and every time it senses large slashes, by a ghost or spirit like herself, it releases small orbs that do small explosions towards the target.
Backstory: Her parents used to be in the spirit world, but normally, spirits and ghosts just come down to earth when they have children, to prevent the spirit world from being seen by humans. For this reason, she's made a promise to her parents that she'll never talk about the spirit world to other races, which a lot of other ghosts and that have to do. Other than that, a lot of her life was been disguised as a human with weirdly coloured skin.
Other: Her favourite colors are Sky Blue and Midnight Blue.

Race: Sea-Goat
Pronouns: She/Her
Gender: Female
Appearance: [X] Eyre, due to her abilities, can shapeshift into two different forms. One is her sea-goat form (which isn't done yet), and the other form is her human form. She is normally in a slightly altered human form, with thick, sturdy horns jutting out from her skull. Eyre says that she's 5'6 in her human form, but that's just counting her horns. She's actually about 5 feet tall. On her horns are two cuffs, both a coral pink color. Eyre normally wears a coral colored blouse along with a tropical cyan pleated skirt. Along with that, she wears spandex and white Mary Jane's. Her skin is fair, but it isn't as pale as her hair. Her hair is cut up into a short bob, barely passing the nape of her neck. There are two strands of hair that are longer than the others, and they reach just past the shoulder. As a sea-goat she has pure white fur and a light cyan tail. Some of the scales are holographic, and under certain lighting, it can look like her whole tail is a rainbow.
Personality: If you asked anyone that knows her what her defining trait was, they would probably say independent. She hates relying on others, as she puts it, "I'm not some dainty princess who does nothing for herself." She's stubborn, but she does admit her mistakes when she is wrong. Along with that, she is humble and prefers to stick in the shadows where she isn't noticed compared to being out in the spotlight.
Magic: While sea-goats have a high aptitude for magic, most end up relying on the power of coral to harness and amplify their magic even more. Eyre specializes in water-aligned attacking skills (including its other states), but can also heal and shapeshift into a human form. She, like all sea-goats, were taught how to use telepathy at a young age as a more convenient way to communicate under water. While she hasn't tested the range recently, she has been able to send and receive messages from around a mile away, though they aren't the most clear.
Weapons: Her horns and her coral
Backstory: Eyre comes from a line of royalty who have social power, but little to no political power. She is one of four siblings, the rest being brothers. She would always play rough with them, clashing horns in sport. When Eyre turned 18, she received her coral cuffs, and set off to make a name for herself. She headed for land, changing her last name so she wouldn't be recognized as easily. At least in public. Legally her last name is still Enkir.
Other: Eyre is a fan of the many colors of coral, but the pinkish color of her coral cuffs is her favorite.

Appearance: When in GM form, her body turns an ivory colour, with wisps of a pale jade throughout. Her eyes are a gleaming black and her teeth are ivory spikes. The curls on her head are a shining sliver and her tail is cloud-like in colour and appearance. The stone on her forehead is a light blue and the spikes protruding out of her back the same shade. Instead of fire, Delphi breathes out an icy mist, which can freeze anything.
In CM form, her body is a striking red with black streaks. Her eyes stay void-like but her teeth and spikes turn a gleaming gold. Her tail turns into sharp black blades and the stone on her forehead turns gold. Her breath turns to fire which reduces everything to ash. The curls on her head are a pale gold but still shine.
Her human form is a tall girl with silver hair and pale skin who wears a white hoodie and blue jeans. Wings sprout out of her back, which are made of wisps of cloud but can let her fly. Her eyes are a light blue and her teeth are sharp fangs.
Personality: Very mysterious and secluded. Pretends to be shy but really she is proud and fierce. She is quick to ignite but slow to forgive, as she doesn't think that people are trustworthy. She doesn't believe in second chances so if you crossed her then say goodbye to her trusting you. She can be very paranoid which causes her to have next to no friends. When fighting, she fights viciously, attacking anything in her path until victory. She hates defeat which makes her have grudges that can last as long as it takes until she wins again.
Magic: Can turn into smoke, control the weather and wind, and fly. Her human form has the power of telekinesis and control of wind (and flight).
Weapons: The stone on her forehead allows her to use her powers but when in human form it turns into a katana which can still allow her to use her powers but not as well. If the stone broke, chaos would break out in the skies and the earth and the weather would become uncontrollable and cause severe storms and lighting strikes.
Backstory: She descended from gods of the skies but war broke loose and the skies descended into chaos. A dark figure took her from her homeland and put her in this timeline but it went wrong, hence her forms. She is always trying to get back to her timeline but always fails.
