Hogwarts-The Prophecy of the Seven
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Hogwarts-The Prophecy of the SevenGrinning, she said conspiratorially, "Well, if he's a toddler, at least you can get pretty much everything accomplished through the offering of sweets! Speaking of which, I'll probably need to head out soon if I want to snatch up some Sugar Quills on my way to Gringotts. It was nice to meet you both!" With that, she turned to purchase the cloak, waving goodbye to Tsukasa. While she couldn't say she disliked the ever-popular Chocolate Frogs, the lollie pens were certainly her favorite. Aside from tasting amazing, they gave her incentive to write those essays that she so commonly put off until the last minute.
Motion in the corner of her eye caused her to glance to her left. A boy with long black hair appeared to be coming her way. She shifted the bag in which she carried her clothing to her right hand, waving back with a smile as she called, "Is that Jules Hadrian? How goes it?" 'Ri recognized him from the year prior; he'd been a Sixth Year, so that meant he would now be a Seventh Year. Provided my math is correct, she thought to herself with a hint of amusement; the girl had a hate/hate relationship with arithmetic.
"Quite well, yes! Actually, this is just a new cloak; I wore out my old one. What, do I look like I've grown? Because if so, I would consider that a miracle, almost like magic," she laughed, having, as usual with conversation, to look upwards to speak directly to his face. She honestly had no idea how she'd ended up at 4'9''; her mother and father were both relatively tall, as were most of her relatives. The brown haired girl had once been the average height for her age, back in her first and second years, but everyone else had shot up while she'd been left 'down here', as she often said, really only growing an inch or two since then. "So what's going on with you this year? Any fancy new titles, classes, etcetera?"
Brooke browsed the inside of the Qualoty Quidditch Shop. While Hogwarts tended to provide the basics for the sport, Brooke preferred to get some of her own just in case. She picked up a quaffle, turning to continue browsing. She was hoping to find a broom maintenance kit as her broom was getting rather worn.

"We'll just see about that," she joked, only slightly admitting how she truly felt about the upcoming exams. "Thank you very much, I quite appreciate it. At the rate I'm going, I'll end up creating a tea kettle or something that turns everyone it touches into a koala, and while it admittedly would be quite interesting to have to deal with the Charms examiner trying to eat eucalyptus leaves, I doubt Professor McGonagall would be too pleased with me." While most students seemed to have a relatively easy go of the subject, she personally found it a bit too easy to have something random flicker into her mind and mess up the whole spell. One time she'd accidentally Charmed the table instead of the quill, and the result was that when her friend who had been trying to help her study bumped into it, words related to her Care of Magical Creatures studying appeared in ink all over the other girl's skin.
I will take that as a challenge, she thought with a grin, recalling that she still needed to go pick up those books. "You, too," she nodded, turning and heading for the Sugarplum Sweets Shop. Sugar Quills, then Gringotts, then Flourish and Blotts, then back to Mum, she decided. Maybe she could figure out a way to Transfigure normal quills into Sugar Quills once her supply inevitably ran out. Was that possible? 'Ri hoped so; if not, she'd just have to replenish her stock every so often at Hogsmeade.
Suvansh, as enthusiastic as ever, woke up at 5 in the morning. While he was always excited about going to Hogwarts, today was different. Today was when he would finally adorn the Gryffindor Head Boy badge, which most people thrive to get their hands on. He got ready, wore his best clothes for the journey, and when Rohit was awake, they both set off for King's Cross Station, along with their father. The whole platform 9 3/4 and the running into the wall thing made their mother a bit dizzy, so she chose to never visit it again, after each of their first years. Once they were on the station, as usual, they saw wizards running into and disappearing into the walls between platform nine and 10, and the stupefied faces of the muggle-borns. They followed suit, as calm as ever, onto the platform, where the brilliant Hogswart Express awaited them with her welcoming crimson flares. While Rohit bid their father goodbye and got on the train first, Suvansh decided, after keeping his luggage in the council quarters, he would get down on the platform and then meet and greet new people, and potentially be of some help to some people, particularly muggles-borns. He was now a headboy he recalled. He proudly felt the wait of the badge on his chest as he marched about on the platform scouting for people in need of help.

But no matter how much fun he had, laughing until his sides hurt when his mother cursed his full name for all the neighbourhood to hear, his heart was still heavy. He knew that this was the final year that he'd have the whole school year away from his family. He honestly didn't want it to end but all things had to come to an end he supposed as he made his way to Kings Crossing. Like every year, he only had one carry-on luggage and a heavy backpack. Changing out of the stuffy suit that his parents had forced on him, Jules instead put on a warm sweater and a cardigan cape, matching a pretty skirt and light brown boots to complete it all. It was much more comfortable than his suit which he threw outside the train window. The only thing missing was his Head Boy pin which he attached with a spark of glee. With the weight of responsibility on his shoulders, he got to work by organizing the prefect schedules and assigning certain prefects to different cabins.
Anthony hesitantly waved goodbye to his parents, taking his luggage and hauling it over to the train. The bright red color of the locomotive always confused him. It looked good, he supposed, but it was just such a bright color. Shaking his head, he clambered up into the train. He found an empty compartment, sliding inside and slipping his luggage in the overhead apartment. The train still seemed fairly empty, he must've been pretty early. The boy awkwardly sat down, crossing his hands as he looked at the ground.

Dragging the heavy luggage along, Alison wondered how her mother had managed to fit evreything into the trunk, making it a dead weight that was extremely difficult to carry. Combined with her lack of her normal amount of sleep, and the fact that she was quickly losing options as to where to sit, she tried to remember one of the many things that her mother had chattered about, namely what to do if she needed help. Head boy? Was that the proper term? Regardless, when she saw the boy with the badge, who was looking around and didn't seem to be occupied at the moment. Perhaps he could help her, at least with this unreasonably heavy bag. Was her mother trying to kill her?! Hefting it one more time to save her feet from the pain that would have come if she were to drop it, she aproached the Gryffyindor head boy, quiet as a mouse. At the last minute, when she spoke, she said, "Excuse me? Could you perhaps help me find a empty compartment? Preferably before I end up crushing my foot with this?"
Adalwen was all ready for Hogwarts. He looked at the mirror and smiled; or smirked, rather. His red eyes seemed to glow. He picked up his stuff and headed for the station. Platform 9 3/4. As arrived at the station, his father greeted him. Maibi Nott was not of the main family, but the puritan status still stuck. It was clear who's sly smile it was that Adalwen had inherited. Together, they walked into the wall, to the next year in his grand future.
