Relieved that for once Tsukasa hadn't dragged them into trouble with someone, Amane laughed, shaking Hurricane's hand lightly. "It's nice to meet you too." Tsukasa gave Ri a wave as well, earning him a sharp glare from Madame Malkin, who was starting to get very annoyed with fidgety children. "Tsukasa, please just hold still," Amane called over, not even needing to look behind him to know what the issue was. "If we finish early here, we can go get ice cream or something." The sudden silence told Amane that his brother was cooperating. He shook his head slightly. "It's like dragging a toddler around," he whispered to Ri.

Grinning, she said conspiratorially, "Well, if he's a toddler, at least you can get pretty much everything accomplished through the offering of sweets! Speaking of which, I'll probably need to head out soon if I want to snatch up some Sugar Quills on my way to Gringotts. It was nice to meet you both!" With that, she turned to purchase the cloak, waving goodbye to Tsukasa. While she couldn't say she disliked the ever-popular Chocolate Frogs, the lollie pens were certainly her favorite. Aside from tasting amazing, they gave her incentive to write those essays that she so commonly put off until the last minute.

As he loitered by the ice cream shop, polishing off his treat, Jules caught a glimpse of someone familiar leaving the robes shop. If he remembered correctly, she was the Fourth year Hurricane. Or well, he supposed that this year would be her fifth year. Waving towards the hurrying girl, unsure if she would even see, Jules popped the rest of the ice cream into his mouth, making sure to clean his fingers before disposing of the rest of his trash with a non-verbal spell. While nonverbal spells were beginning to become the norm for him, he wanted to at least attempt some wandless spells and made a note to go to see Professor Flitwick if he could take some extra classes to try and learn it.

Motion in the corner of her eye caused her to glance to her left. A boy with long black hair appeared to be coming her way. She shifted the bag in which she carried her clothing to her right hand, waving back with a smile as she called, "Is that Jules Hadrian? How goes it?" 'Ri recognized him from the year prior; he'd been a Sixth Year, so that meant he would now be a Seventh Year. Provided my math is correct, she thought to herself with a hint of amusement; the girl had a hate/hate relationship with arithmetic.

Aria had waited for a while, but her parents must still be busy with their stuff. She had gotten up from her laid back sitting position and had gotten up. It wouldn't hurt to pay a visit to the ice cream parlour. Walking across there she thought about it. Maybe once her parents were back she could convince them to buy her a nimbus broom?

Chuckling, he nodded. "That's me alright. I've been well and I trust that you have been too?" He greeted, tucking his open book back into his bag. "New robes I see. How are all of you still growing, I swear. I stopped when I was in 3rd year." It wasn't like he was short, he was pretty average actually, but he had long stopped getting any taller. A shame, but it was way funnier to turn it into a joke

"Quite well, yes! Actually, this is just a new cloak; I wore out my old one. What, do I look like I've grown? Because if so, I would consider that a miracle, almost like magic," she laughed, having, as usual with conversation, to look upwards to speak directly to his face. She honestly had no idea how she'd ended up at 4'9''; her mother and father were both relatively tall, as were most of her relatives. The brown haired girl had once been the average height for her age, back in her first and second years, but everyone else had shot up while she'd been left 'down here', as she often said, really only growing an inch or two since then. "So what's going on with you this year? Any fancy new titles, classes, etcetera?"

"Unless you count N.E.W.T.s as interesting, not really." He laughed, a relaxed smile directed at Ri. "Speaking of which, you have O.W.L.s this year right? If you ever need any help, don't be afraid to come to me. Those things are pretty hard but I know that you'll pass them with ease." He had to refrain from ruffling the other's hair, his own instincts to help out anyone younger than him rearing its head.

Anthony slipped out of a bookstore. He wasn't sure which one as he wasn't necessarily looking at the signs. Mostly the third year was following his parents as they moved from store to store. The boy started as a cat skittered in front of him, giving a slight yelp and jumping back. Looking back up he realised he had been separated. Frowning the boy stayed put. That was what you were supposed to do when you were lost... right?

Brooke browsed the inside of the Qualoty Quidditch Shop. While Hogwarts tended to provide the basics for the sport, Brooke preferred to get some of her own just in case. She picked up a quaffle, turning to continue browsing. She was hoping to find a broom maintenance kit as her broom was getting rather worn.

After spending what seems like hours looking for the "perfect fabric," which Alison wasn't even sure was an actual thing, and really wanted to go home. While she was curious about Hogwarts, and was excited to go, shopping for robes for what was really was 20, 30 minutes was not what she wanted to do. Finally, her mother grabbed her hand and hurried her over wait to have the robes made and fitted when she saw that there were others. Alison leaned against the wall quietly, watching the others intently, perhaps even a little akwardly, though not on purpose.

"We'll just see about that," she joked, only slightly admitting how she truly felt about the upcoming exams. "Thank you very much, I quite appreciate it. At the rate I'm going, I'll end up creating a tea kettle or something that turns everyone it touches into a koala, and while it admittedly would be quite interesting to have to deal with the Charms examiner trying to eat eucalyptus leaves, I doubt Professor McGonagall would be too pleased with me." While most students seemed to have a relatively easy go of the subject, she personally found it a bit too easy to have something random flicker into her mind and mess up the whole spell. One time she'd accidentally Charmed the table instead of the quill, and the result was that when her friend who had been trying to help her study bumped into it, words related to her Care of Magical Creatures studying appeared in ink all over the other girl's skin.

"Lemme tell you a little something. Headmistress McGonagll wouldn't mind you jinxing a poor examiner. It makes her job a little bit more fun, you see. Most of those ministry examiners could stand to loosen up a bit more too, get better sleep, so really Koala's are a good choice." He joked, snickering at the time he had accidentally transfigured Professor Ruby into an inchworm in his own fifth year. It had been his first attempt at a nonverbal transfiguration spell and while it worked, he also got points docked because of it. "But all jokes aside, I know you'll do just fine even if you turn the examiners into koalas. Which I doubt since that's a sixth-year spell but you're smart enough to probably know it. I've got to run now, but I'll see you on the train. Good luck with your shopping!" He waved, regretful that he had to cut the conversation short, but his own time was running out. His mother would be expecting him back soon and as much as he hated it, he was still living under his parent's roof so their rules were to be followed.

I will take that as a challenge, she thought with a grin, recalling that she still needed to go pick up those books. "You, too," she nodded, turning and heading for the Sugarplum Sweets Shop. Sugar Quills, then Gringotts, then Flourish and Blotts, then back to Mum, she decided. Maybe she could figure out a way to Transfigure normal quills into Sugar Quills once her supply inevitably ran out. Was that possible? 'Ri hoped so; if not, she'd just have to replenish her stock every so often at Hogsmeade.

Its dawn of September the first. While a normal day of no interest for most muggles, it was a really significant day for each aspiring wizard. Today, was when they had to embark on a new journey, or continue their old ones, from the Kings Cross Station, onto the Hogwarts Express, and off to Hogwarts.

Suvansh, as enthusiastic as ever, woke up at 5 in the morning. While he was always excited about going to Hogwarts, today was different. Today was when he would finally adorn the Gryffindor Head Boy badge, which most people thrive to get their hands on. He got ready, wore his best clothes for the journey, and when Rohit was awake, they both set off for King's Cross Station, along with their father. The whole platform 9 3/4 and the running into the wall thing made their mother a bit dizzy, so she chose to never visit it again, after each of their first years. Once they were on the station, as usual, they saw wizards running into and disappearing into the walls between platform nine and 10, and the stupefied faces of the muggle-borns. They followed suit, as calm as ever, onto the platform, where the brilliant Hogswart Express awaited them with her welcoming crimson flares. While Rohit bid their father goodbye and got on the train first, Suvansh decided, after keeping his luggage in the council quarters, he would get down on the platform and then meet and greet new people, and potentially be of some help to some people, particularly muggles-borns. He was now a headboy he recalled. He proudly felt the wait of the badge on his chest as he marched about on the platform scouting for people in need of help.

It was the same fanfare. Stiffly bow, thank the relatives, the whole song and dance were so familiar that it almost hurt. He was given the same speech, the same disapproving glares, the same rabble about how he could at least try and find a nice purebred lady to court, sire an heir that wasn't a disappointment like him, return the top of the class with perfect N.E.W.T.s, everything expected of the Hadrien heir and more. But the ending didn't follow the script when Jules slammed the door behind him, a nonverbal charm cast as spiders began to swarm the interior of the mansion and the pygmy puffs that he had left behind went to town on a feeding frenzy with his relative's screaming and cursing like music to his ears.

But no matter how much fun he had, laughing until his sides hurt when his mother cursed his full name for all the neighbourhood to hear, his heart was still heavy. He knew that this was the final year that he'd have the whole school year away from his family. He honestly didn't want it to end but all things had to come to an end he supposed as he made his way to Kings Crossing. Like every year, he only had one carry-on luggage and a heavy backpack. Changing out of the stuffy suit that his parents had forced on him, Jules instead put on a warm sweater and a cardigan cape, matching a pretty skirt and light brown boots to complete it all. It was much more comfortable than his suit which he threw outside the train window. The only thing missing was his Head Boy pin which he attached with a spark of glee. With the weight of responsibility on his shoulders, he got to work by organizing the prefect schedules and assigning certain prefects to different cabins.

Brooke walked through the brick wall, quickly surveying the student already there. The Ravenclaw took her luggage from her mother, hugging her parents goodbye before climbing aboard the train. She entered a compartment at random, setting her luggage beside her as she sat down. Her leg bounced up and down as she excitedly waited for the train to depart. The ride to Hogwarts was always somewhat thrilling to her, mostly because of her own anticipation.

Anthony hesitantly waved goodbye to his parents, taking his luggage and hauling it over to the train. The bright red color of the locomotive always confused him. It looked good, he supposed, but it was just such a bright color. Shaking his head, he clambered up into the train. He found an empty compartment, sliding inside and slipping his luggage in the overhead apartment. The train still seemed fairly empty, he must've been pretty early. The boy awkwardly sat down, crossing his hands as he looked at the ground.

While Alison was a early to bed, early to rise sort of person, she didn't really want to be woken up at 5:00 in the morning by her overenthusiastic mother and dragged out to get ready. Since her father, who knew next to nothing about wizardry, insisted that they take the car to get to Platform 9 and 3/4, unsure how safe magical methods of transportation could be for his daughter. So, living a couple of hours from the station, they arrived at 7:00. Allison's mother was more than happy to help her cross through, and they arrived smoothly on the other side. It was a rather odd goodbye, Allison looking slightly bored, her mother in emotional tears. After what seemed like over 10 rib-breaking hugs, Alison was able to board the train, gripping the small amount of luggage that it had taken to fit evreything that she would need. She glanced around, seeing the amount of students hurrying to find friends, or just take a seat. Her main goal was finding a empty compartment where she could hide away until she either a-warmed up to someone who didn't mind her..er, abrupt nature, or until they got to Hogwarts and she could loose herself in schoolwork and lessons.

Dragging the heavy luggage along, Alison wondered how her mother had managed to fit evreything into the trunk, making it a dead weight that was extremely difficult to carry. Combined with her lack of her normal amount of sleep, and the fact that she was quickly losing options as to where to sit, she tried to remember one of the many things that her mother had chattered about, namely what to do if she needed help. Head boy? Was that the proper term? Regardless, when she saw the boy with the badge, who was looking around and didn't seem to be occupied at the moment. Perhaps he could help her, at least with this unreasonably heavy bag. Was her mother trying to kill her?! Hefting it one more time to save her feet from the pain that would have come if she were to drop it, she aproached the Gryffyindor head boy, quiet as a mouse. At the last minute, when she spoke, she said, "Excuse me? Could you perhaps help me find a empty compartment? Preferably before I end up crushing my foot with this?"

Samton was up by the break of dawn, and was ready to go before long. He was glad it wasn't a repetition of yesterday. He wanted to be there as early as possible. Reaching there, he saw that quite a few families were there already. Looking around, he noticed the Gryffindor Head Boy. What was his name again? Nuance? Bromance? He didn't remember. Embarrassed by this fact, he slid by and got on the train.

Adalwen was all ready for Hogwarts. He looked at the mirror and smiled; or smirked, rather. His red eyes seemed to glow. He picked up his stuff and headed for the station. Platform 9 3/4. As arrived at the station, his father greeted him. Maibi Nott was not of the main family, but the puritan status still stuck. It was clear who's sly smile it was that Adalwen had inherited. Together, they walked into the wall, to the next year in his grand future.

Aubrey arrived at the train station, and it was quite crowded. She quickly ran right through the brick wall as she saw someone else do and said goodbye to her mother. As she boarded the train, she saw multiple seats were somehow already full. She saw an empty seat and just waited.

Aria was pretty much excited to be back. She was at the station, about to board the train, not recognising anyone. It was sad really. She wasn't too social last year and she was excited to be with her fellow hufflepuffs again. Getting on the train she sat down in a empty carriage by herself, before pulling out her copy of her favourite book, fantastic beasts and where to find them and started reading
