Aurora just hugs him. She takes the chocolates but doesn't say anything. Her eyes say it all for her. She hugs him again, just about losing the little self control she has. She almost bursts into tears, but somehow manages not to. She gives Suvansh the book she had gotten for him.

Suvansh took the book and read the cover, 'A Catalyst's Guide to Charms', "Exactly what I wanted, thank you!" he laughed a bit, on the verge of tears himself. "I missed you." He said.

Aurora looks at the ground for a moment. "You're taller." she says finally, looking up. "I...I'm sorry I never responded. To your letters I mean." she takes one of her hands and rubs the back of her neck. Her hand barely covers the black ink etched in her skin.

Suvansh grins at the comment. Then his face softens, as he apologizes again, saying "Glad that you are fine." He noticed her hands, and his eyes catches the black ink, when he shouted "What happened?" in concern. Aurora was a morphmagus, she could will it to go away, but if she didn't, or couldn't, it must be something serious- he wondered.

After finishing at Flourish and Botts, Alison's mother immieadiently was off for the apocothery, and quite eager about it as well. There, Alison muttered loudly, "This place has an awful smell." After getting several dirty looks from her mother and some of the other customers, she apologized hurriedly, feeling awful. Alison's filter about what not to and what to say was..well, nonexsistent. So, sometimes, she slipped up. After moving around the Apocothery, colleciting potion indgredients, Alison's mother looked at the list. "Now here's an exciting part!" she said. "Robes!" Immieadiently, it was off again for Alison and her mother, Alison simply watching the other customers as they walked, her mother half-dragging her.

Aubrey was terrified from what she heard about hogwarts. Her mother had to carry her the entire way to diagon alley while she kept telling her “I don’t want to go! I’m gonna get killed before I can finish my first year!” Her mom tried to convince her that it’ll be alright but that didn’t make the fear go away. She was a bit excited about some of the classes though so she used that as motivation to at least get the school supplies.

Aurora stepped back. "Nothing." she lied, wiping her mind of any reference to what happened. "Don't worry about it." she says. Aurora covers the ink with her hand again. She closes her eyes for a moment. "It's not anything important."

Suvansh's eyes softens. "You sure? It looks bad-" He tries to get her to tell the reason. "Also taste that dark chocolate I got you" he smiles at her "you will like it".

Aurora doesn't meet his eyes. "It isn't anything you need to worry about. Not yet anyway." she murmurs, placing the chocolate in her bag. She keeps one hand over the ink at all times. Her dark hair hasn't changed color once in the conversation, which is worrying in itself, because last year, Aurora couldn't go one conversation without changing the color of her hair or her eyes.

Suvansh notices the lack of change of colors in her eyes, the fact that she was reluctant to eat the chocolate, or even meet his eyes. Then he remembered what he was about to do before he met her- get a broom. "How's your broom?" He asks Aurora, out of nowhere.

This question surprises Aurora. She looks at the ground again, her hand dropping from her neck. A small gust of wind blows her hair from the ink and Suvansh gets a better look at it. It appears to be three intertwined circles, with a weird looking sign in each circle. "I'm not sure how to answer that." she says.

Suvansh grins. He waits no further for a reply. He knew she had been using the same broom for about 5 years now. He took her hand, and gently started guiding her over to Quality Quidditch Supplies. "How much is the Cosmos broom?" He asked the shopkeeper. "It would be 400 Galleons." Hearing the price, he decides to count how much he's left with, because he did not want to ask his parents for more coins. He used the counting charm on his pouch, non-verbally, as he was practicing for his NEWTs. 700 Galleons, he got to know. His parents were ready to buy him such an expensive broom already, so he really did not want to ask for a hundred more. So, me decides to ask the shopkeeper, "How much does the Centauri 2000 cost?" being the second best at the moment. He was glad to hear it was 350 a piece, which meant he could afford two, and so he bought it. He went over to Aurora, and handed her the just bought gift.

The 16 year old walked quickly into the robes shop, her silver-grey eyes immediately darting around to take in the variety of clothing items. While she was only here for one thing, she had to admit that the dress robes did look quite nice... There were only a couple other students in the store, and she knew she needed to hurry before a large tidal wave of First and Second Years swept in. Quickly selecting the style of cloak that caught her fancy, the kindly Madam Malkin was able to tend to her almost immediately. As with most of 'Ri's clothing, the item needed to be shorted considerably. Sometimes, she really did hate being short.

As Suvansh excused himself, Jules got ready to head back before pausing. He should probably drop the by the bank, huh. Although his own account was connected to his family's, after reaching adulthood he could technically ask the bask to separate his account. That would probably be for the better, he supposed as he made his way to Gringots.

Having gotten all the 'lockhart' books on the list, Aria followed her parents to Gringots, because they had 'something important' to do. Ofcouse, Aria wasn't allowed to go to any of the shops because of 'getting lost and such'. It was a bummer really, since she wanted to look at brooms and maybe buy one for herself this year. The comet and nimbus ones seemed exciting to her.

Two brown-haired, amber-eyed boys stood calmly by a brick wall. "Tsukasa," one sighed, gently lowering the other's outstretched arm. "I've told you a million times. It's this brick."

"Oh!" Tsukasa gave the wall a short rap, and it peeled away to reveal one of the boys' favorite places on earth: Diagon Alley. Even after four years of returning to this spot, the boys were no less excited than the first time they'd discovered it.

"So, where should we start?" Amane jostled a large trunk in his hands, reaching for a list. "We've already gotten all of our books, but we need some ingredients from the Apothecary and- woooOOOAAH!" Nearly dropping everything in his hands, Amane was yanked forward by his brother, who was already making a beeline for Madame Malkins. "O-or we could start there, I guess," Amane said, half-exasperated and half-amused by his brother's usual antics.

As they burst into the shop, Amane noticed with relief that it was still fairly empty, with only a few students here and there. "Amaneeee! Look!" Not a moment of rest, not with a twin brother. Tsukasa was pointing eagerly to a new color of fabric, somewhere between a deep blue and an emerald green. "We should get robes in this color! It's like, both Ravenclaw and Slytherin colors!" Tugging gently on his brother's arm, Tsukasa glanced all around the shop. "There's a Hufflepuff," he said, pointing over to a girl who was getting her robes tailored. "Look, she's pretty short, isn't she." Amane frowned and jabbed Tsukasa's side. "What? So are we!" Well, Amane thought wryly, I suppose that's true. We're going to have to get our robes hemmed pretty high up, too. Figuring it would be good to get a head start on that, Amane scooped up a pair of robes, walking over to stand quietly to the side of the Hufflepuff girl and wait his turn. She looked vaguely familiar, but Amane couldn't quite place it. He'd become familiar with many Slytherins, and Tsukasa with a handful of Ravenclaws, but beyond that, he didn't know many people outside of his house.

"Are we getting the cool fabric?" Tsukasa popped up behind his brother, resting his chin on Amane's shoulder. "Yes, yes, we're getting the cool fabric," Amane replied, rolling his eyes, but he still smiled nonetheless. "Yaaay!" Tsukasa cheered, squeezing his brother in a quick hug. "Oh, and she's a fifth year. Who's the girl that just came in, though?" Amane turned his head to see who his brother was talking about. A girl - she looked like a first year - was being dragged through the aisles by her mother, and she looked rather disinterested in the whole thing. "No idea," he said, shrugging. "I think she's a new student."

Hearing the loud, rowdy voices of the twins from across the shop, she turned her head, feigning a cross look as they came to stand near her. "I beg your pardon! Just because you're taller doesn't mean I couldn't turn you into onions if I tried hard enough. Or maybe pineapples. I am rather hungry," she grinned, crossing her arms and accidentally tugging on the cloak a bit. "Dear, stay still, please," Madam Malkin sighed, and the girl had to suppress a giggle. 'Ri was aware that she looked rather odd, what with her Muggle attire mixed with the flowing cloak, and therefore was quite grateful when the woman finished.

Not missing a beat Tsukasa turned to the Hufflepuff girl with a smile. "Oh, I doubt that. You'd have to actually hit me with the spell first. Amane says I'm the best dueller in our year!" Amane sighed, rubbing his face with his palm. "Sorry. My brother has no - filter-" he said, nudging Tsukasa with each of the last three words. Tsukasa merely shrugged. "I'm just saying. And we're like, barely taller anyways. We gotta get our robes tailored too." With that, he tugged one of the robes free from his brother's arms and promptly stepped up to Madame Malkin, chattering eagerly about the color and the length that he wanted.

Amane sighed once more. "Really, I'm sorry. He doesn't mean to be rude or anything, he just...he's really blunt. We're Amane and Tsukasa Yugi. Fourth years. I'm in Ravenclaw, he's in Slytherin," he quickly introduced, gesturing to himself and his brother as he spoke. A slightly amused smile crossed his face. "He's uh, probably right that you would have a hard time getting a good spell in, though. I mean, I've lived with him my whole life and even I have trouble keeping an eye on him."

Sorting out his business at the bank, which was surprisingly fast and efficient, Jules was left with more time than he expected. He knew the unspoken expectation that he be out of the house no longer than three hours and he still had time left to explore before returning to his family house. Contemplating, he decided on treating himself, just once. A purchase of a warm knitted shawl or even a fluffy blanket to share with his housemates didn't sound like a bad idea. With that on mind, he began to make his way around they alley before stopping at the ice cream shop. Well, a little wouldn't hurt he supposed buying his own cone to childishly nibble on.

Eyes sparkling, the girl quickly shrugged off the black cloak, laying it over her arm. She shook her head with a laugh. "No worries, he's probably right. Dueling's not exactly my specialty, anyways. Although, if it were, you pineapples had better watch out." Holding out a hand, she added, "I'm Hurricane Nightingale; that's kind of a mouthful, so most people just call me 'Ri. Fifth year Hufflepuff, though you knew that already. It's a pleasure to meet you."
