Forum-Index → Roleplay → MineGames (RP)"Oh, she's still there, trust me" Kayda replies as she leans back against the wall again. "While our interaction may have calmed the raging flames in my heart, it didn't completely snuff them out. Let's just say... My target has changed a bit" she seems to stare off into space, quietly forming a plan in her head. She may not be able to harm the other tributes, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to hurt anyone along the way. Her dangerous self was still here, curled up like a snake, ready to strike. Ultimately, she simply had bigger fish to fry. She would have to focus her attention on the real monsters here: the Peacemakers and the governmental figures that put them in this situation in the first place.
She can't help but smile at this plan. She was talking about an impossible feat here. There were too many enemies, all incredibly strong and protected. Still, somebody had to try, and who would be better than Kayda? She had nothing to lose. Besides, the Peacemakers would likely expect trouble from her anyway.
All Coraline could do was stare up at him. Silence.
He chuckled and cracked his knuckles as he prepared for a fight. "I take that as a no. Shall we get started?"
"Shall we get started?"
Coraline's eyes widened as she took a step back from the boy, her mind flashing back to that same sentence from another time. One of pain and misery.
Two armed guards were leading a prisoner down a long hallway, one hand on either of the shoulders of their prisoner. As they escorted her to another test. Even if she wanted to run, she couldn't get far, not with the straight jacket holding her arms in place. She didn't want to be here, she wanted to be at home with her mother.
Two dark eyes darted around, bags formed under the slightly blackened marks under her eyes that were markings of her being part Inkling despite her mostly human appearance. Her hair mostly resembles a human's as well, though it was clear that she still had tentacles for hair, which also doubled as extra hands when needed.
They opened the door at the end of the hall with a squeaky creak. One of the guards roughly shoved her in the room and the door was shut behind her. A machine ripped off her straight jacket, but then it forced her into a chair where she was restrained by her wrists and ankles, someone was already waiting for her. She stared up at the man as he held a palate of colors in his hand and a simple paintbrush. Admittedly it was a laughable form of punishment if any, for anyone else. For Inklings or Octolings, touching ink or even paint that wasn't your color directly was painful. Everyone knew that, even humans.
"I-bew-wew-squee-weew!"
"So you are one of them after all," the man mused as he watched Coraline squirm under his gaze. "Well then, shall we get started?" He dipped the paintbrush in the color red and let the color drip on the palate.
"Sam-myooh!" (Help me!) Coraline's cries were ignored as he pressed the paintbrush and red ink onto her bare arm.
The blood-curdling scream of pain and agony burst from Coraline and it echoed around the room.
Kayda strolls over to Tenacity's side. Standing next to him, but still a short distance behind. If Tenacity wanted this fight, he could have it. But she was more than willing to back him up if it were needed. She glares at the boy before returning her gaze to Coraline. Kayda seemed to be silently asking if she was okay.
It was pretty clear she wasn't okay.
