There's a river full of memory.
Sleep, my darling, safe and sound,
For in this river all is found.
In her waters, deep and true,
Lie the answers and a path for you.
Dive down deep into her sound,
But not too far or you'll be drowned.
Yes, she will sing to those who'll hear,
And in her song, all magic flows.
But can you brave what you most fear?
Can you face what the river knows?
Where the north wind meets the sea,
There's a mother, full of memory.
Come, my darling, homeward bound,
When all is lost, then all is found.
Coraline snored lightly as Akane gently moved her to the bed and tucked the inkling in before going out to check on Kayda and Tenacity. They were just on the roof and the formerly mentioned tributes had flown up there, leaving Akane to climb up on a neighboring tree and carefully drop onto the roof. When they looked back at her Akane just blinked and joined their sides as the three kept watch and/or hunt for the mobs that were out. "What's up? I just got the kids to sleep." Of course, they didn't have kids, but Meg and Coraline were the youngest among them so the phrasing made sense at least.

Ba-bum
(apologies if I do this wrong-)
Akane felt herself suddenly getting jerked back. Back to when-
"What a loser!"
Akane jerked her head around and she felt her stomach knot. She was reliving it again. There was a group of four picking on the younger version of herself. Laughing and pointing as they mocked her for being a late bloomer with her powers. Their words getting worse and worse as all the younger version of herself could do was cover her ears in failed attempt to block them out. But it didn't matter, in the end, they got to her and when the tears streaked down the younger version's face, the mocking just escalated again.
Then one of them punched her square in the face, knocking her into the mud.
That's when the younger Akane let out a wail, a red aura suddenly surrounded the wailing Akane then suddenly a large Pheonix formed behind the wailing child.
This was the Elemental Pheonix, and he wouldn't allow his keeper to be harassed.
When the group of four kids saw the Pheonix they turn and ran, but not before he had given them a small dose of their own medicine. The first was lucky and only had their clothes ruffled by the sudden blast of air, the others weren't as lucky. The second was forced to run through poison ivy to escape his wrath. The third nearly drowned after being trapped in a small whirlpool. The final one was assaulted by waves of fireballs and escaped with minor burns and singed hair and clothes.
When Akane's assailants had left the Pheonix turned his attention back to his young keeper and gently wrapped his large wings around her to protect her until the child had calmed.
Despite the single tear that had streaked down her face after reliving that, Akane felt oddly light, like she had been congested for a while, but then her nose was clear the next day. It was oddly, freeing. But Akane still had to wonder What the hell just happened?
Kayda had remained silent. Like the others she was busy staring up at the sky. How could such beauty come out of a cruel place? No matter where they were, they always had the same sky. It was a an oddly calming thought to her. As of the sky were some sort of protector or something. Being distracted by both the sight and her inner thoughts. She didn't even see where she was laying down before it was too late. The realization was sharp, she had just laid down on his wing!

A classroom, but with no students. A girl stood there, sitting on a desk in front of the viewer. Behind her, a set of wings, similar to a butterfly. "You're lucky you know me," she said. "A lot of other fae are tricksters, a lot like your 'Loki' god." They had been trading stories about what they believed, teaching each other about... Well, each other. Behind the girl's wings, there were words and drawings across a chalkboard, some being symbols while the others were just scribbles. Loki was near the far right of the board, two serpents wrapped around his portrait. "Are they shapeshifters too?" A laugh. "No, but they like to play tricks. A lot of the tricky ones have different wings, though. You can identify a lot of them that way." "Am I a trickster?" A louder laugh this time. "No, you're just a symbol. Dark magic at your hand, light magic at your head. And, at your back, the thing that urges them to attack each other. You're a symbol of revolution. You practically mean the fall of the Capitol." A moment of silence. The memory faded with a few words: 'I never saw her again.'
