Clamor supposed they were correct. The sheer number of guards here
meant they wouldn't be able to do anything significant except hurt
their own forces.
"This is awesome." Winter murmured, his jaw whispering just above
his friend's ear. "I'm not surprised everyone loves this place."
Still practically trying to suffocate Emerald in floof, he asked
cautiously. "So, how are all your Luminian friends doing? I haven't
seen them in a hot minute, after all." He hoped he'd be able to get
a casual conversation going. Fun as bubbles were, he hadn't seen
his old classmate in so long...or his friends, for that matter.
Especially them, actually, the last time he'd seen most of them
being...
"Oh..." Winter murmured quietly. This must have gotten pretty bad,
then. "Well, I have some news to report on Typhoon, if you're
willing to hear." He attempted to get Emerald's mind off the chaos
outside for now. He hoped news of the Riolu's godfather may help...
"I guess you're right..." Fortem hesitated. "Sorry, I think I
should go... It's getting late and I should be back at the castle
by now."
After a while of just reading, Audax made his way to Thea's
classroom. He poked his head shyly through the door. "Hello? I
think you said I'm learning the next dark magic spell around now...
that is, if you still have the time." He almost whispered.
Clamor's ears were on high alert, searching for any information
that might be useful to them. He pulled out a berry and began to
eat it: something to do so he wouldn't look so suspicious.
[Fortem]
“Knowing Dainn...he sent you out here for a reason...not just to
check up on me of course.” he smiled as he pulled Fortem back up
the bubble and began a treatment
[Winter]
Emerald looked up. “Huh? Did something happen?”
"His mom's been nagging him to give her grandchildren, or so he
says...he says he's got a girlfriend now." Shortly before Winter
had left for his vacation, Typhoon had gone out of town. He'd been
speaking to Winter and his friends through letters...Winter still
wasn't sure exactly where he'd gone
[Fortem]
Yung just continued what he did best...just taking his time and
using all his techniques he knew to make someone relaxed. It had
been weeks...almost a month or two since he had the opportunity to
do this
[Winter]
“Y-You’re kidding! No way! Not even a peep to—“ Emerald exclaimed.
He was cut off however as he heard some shuffling outside. “Hey
Wints...I think...We have to leave. Like now. Undetected.”
The Vulpix stiffened, his ears angled toward the entrance.
"R-right..." He stammered, his calm, pleasant tone shifting to
nervousness. He let go of his friend, rolling over, his eyes
cautiously glancing in the direction of the curtains
[Winter
“Hey I’m sure we’ll see each other again soon! And when that
happens...” Emerald playfully nuzzled his friends cheek before
standing up. “And when that happens...I’m going to send you
bouncing off the walls and ceiling.” He grinned
But he guided his friend outside...as it turns out though, there
wasn’t much of a need to hide

The commotion was at the plaza...something was happening
"I should get going... thanks Yung" Fortem smiled as he stretched,
than hopped off the comfy bubble. He walked out the door with a
nod. As he neared the castle, his ears picked up some noise... near
the plaza. This was worth checking out. He changed directions and
marched on over there.
While reading, Audax picked up a noise, seemingly coming from the
plaza not far from the balcony he was standing on. Setting aside
his book, he strained his ears to hear what was going on. Knowing
the... situation, this couldn't be good, right?
Clamor's patrol had split up, heading back for the base. They
hadn't been able to attain any useful information... the guards
were stepping up their game. On the way back, passing the plaza,
something was happening.... huh. He stayed to watch.
Fae said, “I hear something!”
Toto said, “This may be stupid but I need to know what it is.”
And with that, the siblings walked towards the plaza, hoping there
will be a place to eat, and some good news.
The Torracat yawned, settled in a tall oak tree, over watching the
sparse crowds, an almost cruel smile covering her face. Though she
was worried for Lumina, she found the situation amusing, to say the
least. In her somewhat crazed mind, she saw the rulers of the Land
above the Clouds as selfish, and the people as idiots - just
another of her twisted views. There was some pity, though, for the
innocents of the war, who would surely turn into collateral damage.
She hadn't the time, nor the patience, to worry about that,
however. She suddenly perked up as her ears swiveled around towards
a noise, not too far away. Her eyes now alert and vigilant, she
leapt from the tree and trotted towards the plaza, each footstep
creating only the smallest sound.
Xatina's (ear? Even she wasn't sure if she had them) perked up.
Huh? Something was happening at the plaza? She turned to one of the
knights around her. "What's going on? Can you hear that too?"
Xatina's mind was torn between the thought of action, and the
thought of obeying orders. This was going to drive her mad! She
bounced impatiently on her paws, her sytche swinging from side to
side. "It's coming from the plaza!"
Winter padded toward the plaza, eyes wide. He feared the commotion
might be violence... He let himself grin slightly at his friend's
promise, but felt inclined to check on the chaos, he'd have to deal
with this in his own Kingdom, after all, he reminded himself
Aero woke up after a short nap and slithered outside, she saw
people rushing to the plaza. She slithered over to see what's going
on and saw her brother there too. Aether flew over to her and
hugged her. "I'm so glad you're safe!"
"I'm glad you're safe. Anyway what's going on?" Aether stopped
hugging and looked over towards the commotion.
"I don't know myself, I came over to see what is going on."
