Pokemon: Heaven's Duality
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → Pokemon: Heaven's DualityVeil was among the confused looking Pokémon, the lanky lizard’s mask on his face. His tail flicked impatiently, waiting for the crowd to disperse so he could see the mess.

There were two pokemon there. One would be recognisable as Harringale, one of the higher ranks of the Republicans. The other...was a knight. A Braixen...those who have been around Luminia would recognise her. The War Mage Miranda.
Emerald would find himself near Mordred...as well as Fortem. He had accidently bumped into her in a bid to get here. He was surprised, but happy to see her, as he gently nudged her. After all, he hadn't seen her in some time due to the event
"And so... to the citizens who are indecisive!" Miranda declared, voice proud and projecting. "The King has lead all of us to peace, no? There has not been one single incident that has been caused by the king itself! There is no reason for the status quo to change! And under his rule, we have lived in a golden era! With no wars or peace!"
"Ridiculous." Harringale retorted, also projecting his voice out to the crowd. "The King does not care for each individual citizen, there is no reason to believe the words of a knight who has sworn fealty, no matter the situation! We fight to bring the people's voice to court, we want our voices to be heard! This is our home, and we should have a voice in our lives, how we live!"
The two of them went back and forth, each of them trying to persuade the gathering crowd. Each of them making points to convince, some understandable... it was all but a glorified debate. Despite the words used to discredit the other, they mutually waited for the other to finish talking before making their point.
Meanwhile, the crowd were all talking to themselves, talking amongst one another...Loyalists mixed with the Republicans mixed with the Neutral, all have discussions to one another...whether it's talking about the politics, or talking about the daily, or simply trying to catch up. At the moment, many were taking the opportunity for the mixing to talk to other people who they lost contact with and to catch up...
It was to be noted that it wasn't the leaders of each factors talking. But someone lower ranked. Each side had little clue as to who was leading the opposing force, though there were some guesses
(Author's note: In a sense, everyone who has showed up here will be able to talk to each other, everyone has been gathered in the same place)
Audax listened to the voices. Both made good points... He sighed. He thought it would be cool to live through a major historical event, but... not like this.
Clamor recognised Harringale's voice from a long way away. He bounded up before seeing he had been blocked by a thick crowd. He scanned the area, just looking around for now.

The Drizzile looked among the crowd and tried locating some intriguing conversations, any chatter which would absorb him. He stayed mostly to himself.

"Heya Fortem!" Emerald said cheerfully and then looked at Mordred. "Well, he's on your side! You don't have anything to worry about..." He then paused and then went to hug her and softly wept. "I haven't seen you for so long...I'm sorry I haven't been able to see you recently... I've missed you and Fortem...all my friends..."
Xatina + Clamor + Audax
"Mm..." The voice belonged to the Umbreon. Professor Thea from the School of Magic. "Is everything alright over here?" She looked at the three of them with a steady gaze.
Winter + Aero + Aether
A group of three were near them. One of them was Summer the Leafeon. The other two were also shopkeepers. Hanson the Rhyperior and Emerson the Snorlax. The trio seem to be discussing something... and made a point to keep to themselves.
Helda
The tree that she was all rustled from the wind...there was a small clang as a knight walked past and accidentally bumped into that tree. She could see the various interactions in the crowd, and was near enough to see Emerald with a Lycanroc and a Thievul
Fae + Toto
The duo were also close to the three shopkeepers, Summer, Hanson, and Emerson, albeir they were standing from a different angle.

Her eyes widened a little as she caught sight of a familiar Riolu, accompanied by a Lycanroc and a Thievul - all of whom she recognised from her quest to save Luminia. Emerald had forgiven her almost immediately, but she knew not how Mordred and Fortem would react - though she was sure she had never spoken to them. Better to stay hidden for now, she figured. She laid on the branch, one paw tucked against her chest, the other hanging over the side. Despite being fifteen feet off the ground, she looked not at all worried; cats always landed on their feet, after all.
Clamor took a step back. Right, he was close to the school of magic, there were bound to be loyalists... but perhaps he could learn something. No one knew he was a republican. This could be a useful trip after all...
Audax watched the situation unfold, eyeing the absol and luxio suspiciously.
“This event was long coming, another attempt to persuade to join each side.” Thea sighed. “Of course, this was the most tame thing they’ve done so far. Both sides for that matter.”
Winter + Aether + Aero + Fae + Toto
“So what now?” Summer looked at the two shopkeepers. “This cannot go on...the people are suffering and yet...”
“We’ve chosen a side and we’re fighting for it, correct?” The Rhyperior’s deep voice, flowed out. Hanson looked at Summer with stern eyes. “The quicker we end this, we can get back to daily life. Perhaps a better one.”
“I don’t know...We’ve lived a good life-“ The Snorlax, Emerson, started to speak up before he was swiftly silenced by Hanson.
“We sided with the Republicans to improve public life. We’re going to bring hope. No doubt about it, and no hesitation.” Handon rumbled on
It was apparent which side they sided with. Whether this was brainwashing, false hope, or otherwise...it was alarming at the speed that people were willing to turn against the creator
Fortem + Mordred
Emerald pulled Fortem a little closer to him. “I missed you too...I kinda wished you came to hang out...” He looked at Mordred and Fortem. “We could’ve haved happy times while this was going on...”

Clamor and Audax had to agree. Each nodded as Thea mentioned the sides trying tamer strategies. Audax sighed.
“Two sides of a coin, two sides to any situation. That’s how it’s been, no matter what. You never know what could’ve happened.” The Umbreon spoke, closing her eyes as she grimaced
Winter + Aero + Aether + Fae + Toto
The three shopkeepers left the vicinity...on the other side of them there were another small group of pokemon discussing the loyalist side, their reasoning was recapturing the life they had before
Fortem
Emerald playfully bumped Fortem to try and get his attention
Audax returned another grim nod. He was still balancing on the edge of said coin, but spoke nothing of it. Clamor huffed. He probably wouldn't get anything meaningful out of this situation, but he supposed it was nice to be around others... besides, there was always a chance.
