The was a warning growl at the back but Ritsu obliged and loosened his grip slightly. Well, it was a smooth ride anyways so Ritsu really couldn't complain. The slightly warm scales also made for a great pillow, even if it was a bit too hard for his liking, so he found himself nodding in and out of consciousness

As if right on queue, Riva entered the room that Merek and Dustine were located, with not so much as a knock. She had been following Mr. Puzzle for quite a while, but soon grew tired of the leisurely pace and walked on ahead. "Room for one more?" She asked, though not really waiting for an answer, sitting down in one of the vacant chairs near the other two mages. The spideress looked around at the oddly empty room. "One would think the discovery of a corpse would have everyone in a rush." She mused as she rested her head on her folded hands, voice somewhat low as she spoke in order to keep anyone outside from overhearing.

Dustine smiled tiredly at Riva's statement. "Yeah, maybe," she sighed. She looked over at Merek. "And yes I just sent them- wait... you kept the letter?" she said when she saw the old paper in his hands. It reeked of the corpse and she wanted to throw up. "Mr. Charlie said we might meet Puzzle again," she added, looking back to find where the Pumpkin teacher had gone. She remembered the chat history she saw and almost laughed out loud in front of the other two but she managed to only smile, like the weirdo she was.

"Of course I kept the letter!" At the last moment he remembered that they were right outside thr teacher's staff room. "Not only is it of great importance but Mr. Puzzle mentioned that we're going to swear an oath silence,which means that he most definitely knows something." he said as he looked around. "Good point Riva! Mr. Puzzle didn't seem fazed in the slightest wheareas I got horrified" he added.

Charlie emerged from the Staff room, seeing the Mages without hearing about the letter. “Right! Everyone take a seat,” Charlie put his hands together, his gaze flickering over the Mages he didn’t recognise until his eyes reached the door. Puzzle stepped through. “W-welcome back!” Charlie stammered, glancing at Dustine as Puzzle grunted in response.

“I take it none of you know who Darius Flynn is?” Puzzle muttered, pushing a pair of reading glasses up his head while he flicked through a book. His tone was serious, his gaze remaining on the book as his gloved hands flicked through the pages.

Merek sat and shook his head negatively. "Never heard of him, sir." He placed the letter underneath his thigh as he sat,temporarily hiding it. At long last,Puzzle would tell them about Darius Flynn. Merek was extremely curious and excited but he would have to keep quiet and act serious.

Puzzle closed the book in a single movement. His eyes narrowed. “Before the Queen was crowned, nine people fought for royalty. Seven died, one went missing and the final was crowned Queen.” Puzzle took a breath frowning and looking away for a moment. “I believe the corpse was the missing person.” Charlie took a loud breath, watching the other the other teacher with worried eyes. Puzzle’s voice was deep, his gaze hard and serious. “Darius Flynn.” He finished at last.

"I found this next to the corp- Darius Flynn." he said as he raised his thigh and taking out the letter,presenting it to Puzzle and opening it. "What can you make of this,sir?"

Handling the letter with the utmost care he read the words slowly, eyes widening with every second as it passed. “We can’t let this information get out.” Puzzle snarled, pitting the page down gently as he stood up, holding the bridge of his nose.
“S-surely we should tell someone?” Charlie meekly murmured, his face showing how afraid he was for Puzzle, his head lowered like a scolded puppy.
“Of course we tell no-one! The to-bes could be killed out there? Do you want to challenge the Queen!?” Puzzle faced Charlie with malice in his eyes. Charlie took a step back.
“The Queen is a murderer! We can’t let her get away with this!” They seemed to argue on and on... they showed no signs of stopping.

Adelaide frowned slightly, her wings bristling at the raised voices. Part of her, the cold, ruthless behemoth beneath her skin, was roaring for a fight. Unsurprising, for murder to be the key to the throne. The elimination of rivals was something that she, as an angel, saw every day in mortal rulers, blood tainting the throne. She cleared her throat, hoping to be of some service. When she spoke, her voice was hard. "We shouldn't let news of this get out. But we should start increasing defenses of our own. Maintain a strong front." If this letter started an uproar, the Queen would just turn her attention to the school.

"With all due respect,no matter who won,they would still be murderers since there was a competition between nine people for the crown. Isn't the Queen in danger? I-I don't know what to think..who to trust..." Since the current Queen had to kill in order to get where she is right now,she must have quite some skills and capabilities. Why was the letter there though? Was Darius the one who wrote it? "Is there a chance Darius wasn't the one who wrote the letter? Maybe some bigger organisation is behind this..."

Puzzle and Charlie turned to the Mages slowly. Charlie looked at Puzzle with a frown. Puzzle returned his glare, “I saw essence of Darius’ spirit. Barely. Give it a few years and it would have been gone.” Puzzle spat the word, looking down at the page with cold fury. Charlie put an orange hand on Puzzle’s shoulder, causing the colourful man to whip around and shoot him with a defensive, furious glare. Charlie staggered backwards a bit, a hurt look on his face.

Riva listened in while everyone discussed this odd predicament. Or perhaps argue in the case of the professors. She glanced at the others as they spoke, her expression unreadable. "I agree with the celestial. Murderer or no, the deed has been done a long time ago." The memory of the rotted corpse almost made her shudder. Almost. "Spirits and conspiracies aside, we should burn the letter and be done with it. Unless someone here is trying for the crown, that is." She adds, her last statement dripping in sarcasm.

"For real!?" He turned to Riva. "You want to burn this letter so much? It's the best evidence we have! Can we not show it to Her Highness and let her take proper action?" Merek was extremely conflicted about this whole ordeal.

"We. Are. Not. Going to bring this up to her highness" Adelaide growled. Her voice was ferocious, "Something tells me that this ... Darius Flynn was executed because her Highness found her a threat." It was too risky to be seen as complicity to Darius. The male had been torn into ribbons, which only hinted at the Queen's brutality. She took the letter into her own hands. "Death to The Queen is easy to remember."

"Her Highness had to kill Darius to get to the throne,since the former King and Queen had arranged some sort of competition for the crown. Please,do not tear it apart. Why would Darius even have that letter if he was also partaking in that 'competition? There's no way he could have known that our current queen would make the cut." He said as he kept looking at the letter. "Won't she believe us more if she show her the letter itself rather than just tell her?"

"Honestly Merek! Who cares if some old crone dies?!" Riva rubbed her temples, her slowly growing frustration at his naivety causing her to get a headache. She sighs and grows quiet a moment, as if trying to calm herself. "Show the letter and she is more likely to think we fabricated it. We will be pinned as traitors, hanged, and then the snake will feast upon our corpses. What then?"

Over the years, having born witness to many of the mortal ruler's tyrannical brutality, she was grateful again to have been born in the heavens, celestial and immortal, and therefore free from such torment. " Puzzle already said that the Queen is a murderer. I doubt our deaths will suffice. I've seen it happen once; she'll likely turn to our loved ones first before she kills us." She clenched her jaw tightly, "I don't think we should bring this up to her at all. Chances are, she already knows that he had ... deathly intentions for her."

She has 'seen it happen once'? Well that was news. Riva rose her eyebrow at the statement. "Have you seen the queen do this?" She had a- likely false- hope that the angel merely spoke past experiences from elsewhere. The idea of her actually seeing the current ruler commit this act disturbed her for some odd reason. Either way, her eyes glanced down at the paper that Adelaide now held. "Just rip that thing already, or hand it over so I can do it myself."

Titik pushed his way through the doors, pulling a vampire and a faun with him. Looking at the deer girl, his whispered, "I need to warm up a little before introductions are made.." Letting go of her hand and shaking the vampire boy off his tail, he made his way over to a torch, pushing his massive body up against the wall to reach it, essentially climbing the stone barrier. Pulling the torch from it's sconce, he slid back down the wall, wrapping himself in a loose ring around the fire, just enough to start heating himself up a bit.
