The Reincarnates-Roleplay
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → The Reincarnates-RoleplayThe war had been going on for...200 hundred years now? Who was counting? Everyone had lost track. What were we even fighting for? Territory? Honor? Our own pride? So many Pokemon have died...Many agree this needs to end..but no side is willing to back down just yet.
The war had started many years ago, and Pokemon died constantly from the brutal fighting constantly going on in this useless, bloody war. Many Pokemon...including the ones of Legend... including Xerneas, the god of life itself...
However, all was not lost. Before his death, Xerneas restored the lives of all the Legendary Pokemon that died before him, using the last of his energy, before he fell asleep himself. However, the Legendaries were unable to come back in the way that they were intended. Rather, the souls of the Legendary Pokemon came back as regular Pokemon, these Pokemon however were...strange.
The first thing up with these..reincarnates..was that they were born to seemingly the wrong parents, for example, a bulbasaur being born to two Charizard parents. They also retained the eye color of their former, truer form, as well as different abilities resembling somewhat, but not quite, their Legendary glory form, as well as not retaining their previous memories. As such, they were destined to be outcasts.
The reincarnates are hiding in their own tiny village now, living only among themselves. Xerneas's voice echoes in their ears, however...End the war...end it and you shall return.
Spiri was going about her daily life in the Outcast village. She had come back with resources to share with the others, mostly food, but she'd had a run in with an enemy fighter, and was forced to kill him. She brought back his weapons for use of the other villagers, the closest thing to friends Spiri had. Though, formerly being the legendary Pokemon Reshiram, Spiri had lost all memory of her former self, and was clueless as to just why she was different...but oh well. The night her parents had cast her out was about a year ago now...but it still hurt. She'd been forced to follow as all the 'misfits' were removed from their previous homes after being there for basically their whole lives, mocked and belittled for small differences, but differences nonetheless. Mortals feared what they didn't understand. Spiri herself barely understood why her parents were Absol. Why her fire was different. Why she could rat out those who lied... Just what am I...? she always asked herself. Every time, a voice would echo back. "You are the saviour of this land...end this war... Yes, the war. The war that raged throughout her childhood. That voice was of her imaginary angel, telling her she was something other than an abomination... or was it...? No, the Devine creatures of legend died long ago.

Agent Fallows, signing out~
Raina tapped the water in the lake with a paw absent-mindedly, and all of it instantly cleared. All murk and pollution, plus all trash, had disappeared completely. The lake was where a lot of the pokemon came to get water from, so Raina had taken it upon herself to make sure they had clear and clean drinking water.

Raina stretched and decided she should head back to town to grab something to eat. Maybe something from the bakery would be nice... She headed off in its direction.

Raina made her way over to the duo. Giving Summer a slight grin and Spiri a respectful dip of her head, she joined them as they went into the bakery.
Both of them contemplated over what to get.
