"That's fine" Sage replies right at the same time as Gwen says "I'll help!"
"Don't you need to keep the army in order?" Sage asks with a laugh. "Don't worry so much Gwen, we have everything under control"
"They'll be fine without me for an hour" Gwen replies. "Besides, if Tani wakes up, I wanna talk to her. Any information that she has will have to go to me first, this way I can gather the resources necessary to catch whoever did this" Gwen explains. This wasn't really true, but it also wasn't exactly a lie either. Sage nods, accepting this answer.

Gwen bites the inside of her cheek. Why am I acting like this? She wonders. It's highly unlikely that Dylan was the one who attacked Tani, it was most likely Benton. She has accepted that as a fact, so there isn't any reason why she should be so hesitant. Besides... even if Dylan did want Tani dead, he wouldn't attack her with Sage and Emi home. The two were smart, they'll know if something was going on. "You'd better" she tells Dylan.

Sage nods. "Great, now that, that is settled, let's head on over. Emi should be awake by now"

*Talla touched her mask* This, my dear sister. This is what's keeping me alive. I'm sure you remember it. *Maddy shook her head* No, but I dont plan on asking. *Maddy charged Talla with her sword and Talla quickly drew hers to stop it* Please, sister, I didn't come here to fight you. Or to kill your girlfriend who you are so worried about. *Talla's words hit Maddy like a brick* How did you know? *Talla smirked and sarcastically shrugged* I have my ways. *Talla pushed Maddy away and Maddy tripped on a tree root.* And let me tell you now, sister, if I did it, she would've been dead and no one would've known. *Maddy fully expected for Talla to gut her there, but she didn't. Instead she held a hand out towards Maddy. Maddy smacked it away and stood up* What do you mean?

*Talla squinted slightly* Are you kidding me? If someone really wanted her dead, they wouldn't have done it in such a showy way. They would have just waited for her to get home and kill her. That means whoever wanted to make your girlfriend into the worlds first roast human was trying to send a message.

Emi started mixing the blackcaps in with the oatmeal and stired it around before making a second bowl for Tani. After she'd finished she brought the bowl in and set it on the table next to Tani's bed. It smelled wonderful.

Blossom gazed around the shop with medical items, picking a product up and examinining it before setting it back down before moving on to the next product. Unknowing to her, Benton was also there though it didn't seem like he was looking at medical supplies, or maybe he was, she wouldn't know.

*Benton looked through the shelves and began to cough. Once he stopped he began to wheeze. He took out a flask and took a sip from it, instantly making him sound and feel better. He looked behind him and saw Blossoms* Why hello, Blossom. What have you got there?

*Dylan and Sage walked into Blossoms house and saw Emi sitting next to Tani's bed.* Hello Emi, your mom wanted us to come over and watch over you and Tani.

Blossom didn't look up from a product as she responded. "Pain relievers. They're much stronger then my homemade remidies, good for helping people with broken bones and the like. I don't ussualy use them, but if mine fail. . .well, it's better for someone not to be in pain." Seeing that the product was to her liking she put it in her small cart along with some medical herbs. "What about you? I dont recall ever seeing you over here in the medical shops."

Emi looked up at Sage and Dylan. "Oh. Okay. Where did my mom go? Medicine shopping?"

*Benton walked over to her and looked at her stuff. He then looked around and grabbed a glass of a white powder and a green herb* Mix both of these with the stuff your buying. They numb the skin so she wont feel that stuff. And trust me, if you just put that stuff on, she will be in even more pain then she's already in.

*Maddy looked at Talla* A message about what? *Talla looked very proud of herself* That you will have to learn on your own. *Talla turned around and went into the trees. There stood her horse. She mounted it and looked at Maddy* War is on the horizon, sister. Best be prepared. *Talla's horse began to move into a sprint towards the north*

*Benton looked at her. He pointed at the powder with his glove hand* This is Aloe Powder and *He pointed at the other item* this is Mandeline stem. Just crush them up in a bowl and lightly rub them over the severe burns. Granted it will slightly sting when you apply it, but nothing to bad. Just like a pinch on your arm

Sage laughs. "Oh that's quite alright. There is no hurry anyways"

Gwen is once again sparring with a newer solider. Her army has been busy training non-stop since they caught wind of the possible return of the Cloaks. Her movements were slow and sloppy, her thoughts keep returning to both Benton and Dylan. She didn't like the idea of Dylan watching Tani, even if Dylan most likely wasn't going to hurt her. At the end, Dylan was still a suspect, she would have to keep an eye on him. Should she tell somebody her fears? She wants to, but she also doesn't want him to become a suspect. It was annoying how she wanted to both protect and expose him. She winces when the new solider lands a hit. She is thrown to the ground by one of his kicks, before she can get up, the "knife" is pushed towards her throat, a deadly hit if it were a real knife. He raises a hand in the air triumphantly. "Good job, go train with someone different" Gwen tell the boy as she stands up and dusts herself off.

*Benton limped back to his house and heard a noise. He drew a sword from his cane and it collided with a dark grey sword, who's owner mearly hit it out of his hand. Benton put his hands up and looked at its owner* Madam? Wha- what are you doing here? We all thought you were dead. *The figure spoke in a calm but stern voice* Everyone did, *Talla stepped out of the shadows* But you thought wrong

Gonna post something so you can finish the interaction between Talla and Benton
As Gwen walks deeper in the barracks, the higher up the rank people are. They soldiers go from fighting with fake swords to fighting with real swords. To even fighting on horseback and throwing punches at each other. All of these soldiers have the control to block each hit but also hit with just enough control that if they do land a hit, it won't kill or injure the person. She pauses by a few archers and watches them for a moment. She critiques them before moving on. Most of these people had fought with Cloaks first hand, so they know how to defend themselves against them. If the Cloaks have indeed returned, they weren't going to be met with the puny army that they dealt with all those years ago.
