"Well, it's not like they have digestive juices meant to annihilate rocks. They tunnel by consuming the material in front of them. I'd advise against it, but you can if you like. Just expect tremendous amounts of pain." He started to claw the ground beneath him again.

"we've seen before that the worm can't be hurt by small cuts and fire, but it can jump high." Aaron says. "Lets try to lure it to jump land on those sharp rocks, maybe. They might pierce into its skin, and at the very least, hold it for a bit so we can figure out a plan."

"Oh, sure?" Sunflower decided her idea would probably be emergency backup. She doubted it was easy to get swallowed-she had been swallowed by other creatures before, and as long as you grab their throat tightly, you wouldn't fall in. In Sunflower's case, anyway. However, she chose to not voice her opinion. Besides, she believe sandworms don't have as much digestive juices in their mouths, and she might be able to avoid it, worst comes to worst. "But, uh, if our claws can't hurt the worm, would rocks do the trick?"

"As I said, it's going to try and cut them off, then try to eat them. Wait for it to do so, then get it to swallow as much fire as possible." He watched the worm again, as it surfaced and sank back into the ground.

Cinder ponders for a moment. "Well, they're much bigger than our claws, and with the speed that the worm falls on them..." He thinks for a moment, analyzing the situation. "I'd give it a 60% chance of working."

Jade and phantom nodded and heated the flammable gas inside their chests, ready to ignite it and roast some worm. As much as their claws itched to try to slice it open, they knew with the rational parts of their brains that it would be useless. The little spark that would ignite their flames was flickering, ready to be unleashed on command as they studied their prey with blazing eyes, like a snake coiled to strike.

"What if we combine our plans?" Asks Aaron. "We can lure the worn to jumping on the spiky rocks, that should only take a minute, and while its trapped and damaged from them, we can collectively shoot fire in it's mouth."

Phantom and Jade sent the telepathic 'okay' before following, they could practically feel their chests sweating from the growing heat and the excitement of the igniting spark, ready to unleash the burning plasma right into the threat. Mostly Phantom, if anyone was gonna attack that worm, he was going to make it there first. His rage had built up like the gas inside his chest, ready to ignite and needing to be unleashed. His emotion and his soon-to-be fire were in perfect parallel, at the max and in need to be unleashed onto the unfortunate victim, the worm.

The worm roared and jumped up, not noticing the spikes beneath it. Once again, Aaron, Cinder and all of the other dragons were just out of reach, infuritating it. It fell, and landed onto the spiky rocks. From Aaron's angle, the worm appeared to not be punctured very much, but it had a few small scrapes, revealing tissue under the skin, and it was trapped and held in place. "Okay, some of us can attack the scrapes, and some of us can get its mouth." Aaron nods to the group. "Quick, before it escapes!" He swoops down and begins breathing fire on one of the small scrapes, making the worm grown in agony, hissing and jaws snapping furiouly.

Phantom almost scratched Jade's snout with his back claws in his haste to reach the worm's mouth before everyone else. His anger at his brother, his anger at Gold, and this blind energy that had built up over the agonizing wait had turned him into a monster, a beast who's only goal was to destroy the only enemy in his sights, this worm. Before he had ever properly reached the weakened foe, his mouth was open, unleashing the raging plasma as his talons scraped against the ground in his ungraceful landing in front of its face. Right now, the only thing he could think of was his own anger, that had built up to a level that simply Gold would not be able to create alone, it was the anger that he had burning his whole life, the anger that Gold had only built on, the anger of his brother leaving, the anger of whatever caused his parents to pass on without him. This wasn't even a mission anymore, it was Phantom unleashing his troubled, angered soul on the threat to so many lives.

Crimson leapt toward the front of the worm, ripping up a small but sturdy tree on his way over. "Open wide, big ugly!" He thrust the tree into its mouth, keeping it from shutting them.
