Dormition of Peace
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Dormition of PeaceIsa coughed and grabbed Gira's arm, hauling him up onto his back. Muffling a cry of pain as the fabric chaffed against burned skin, Isa pulled his mask back up to dampen his laboured breathing and took one trembling step after another, eyes trained on the stairwell. They had to leave as soon as possible. Isa had a duty to keep, to protect those who needed it, to be someone dependable, to be helpful. He wobbled, shoulder hitting the doorframe and a weak grunt of pain slipped past his clenched teeth. He began to levitate off the ground, flying slowly up the stairs as he spared one look backwards to insure November's safety

Meka was startled by the sudden slamming of the second person into her, and stood invisibly against the wall, a little winded. She waited for Fyssi to do something.
Gira reaches up an arm, and grunting in pain, tried to open a distortion, though his body was wracked with pain as he tried to do so
Sensing an incoming attack, Shaka flinched at the sudden contact as he was pushed out into the open, stretching out his senses as far as he could. There was someone close to the epicenter, a cold but warm heart, ushering himself and others outside towards safety. Her heart rung with pain and Shaka pressed his hands together in a mantra, words tumbling from his mouth like a fountain of prayer. "I believe that won't be necessary with me here. I can ensure the safety of everyone." He vowed, gliding back as far away from the rest as he could before promptly disappearing. In his place was Akuma, energy coursing through the denizin of nightmare. "And if I don't, well I can always heal you again and again as many times as it takes."

Off in the distance, surrounded by a cacophonous typhoon of unbridled rage and hate, Eraqus stilled, arms poised to conduct a symphony of death dropping weightlessly to their side. That voice, that mournful voice full of discord and regret, begging them for strength. No, that was impossible. Out of all their creations why him?! Why would He be the one to plead for their assistance? Why?! After what they had put him through, after ignoring him for centuries, millennia, Eons, Why Him?! Eraqus was sure that he was the first to turn his back on them, to renounce his Creator and forge onto a path that they had never intended him to take. The storm rumbled under their skin, tumultuous and untamable with regret and grief, rolling and crashing against their heart as they screamed. Screamed to the heavens about the things that should have been but never came to be. Of love lost millennia ago, of a son they had locked away, of his children, broken because of their foolish mistakes. They had to make it right again. They had to set the clock back, back to a moment when all was well and nothing was ruined because of them. They wailed and howled and brayed, dissonant voice rattling the skies as regret tore at their very being. Unfathomable power running untethered and free, leaping from fingertip to fingertip as the earth bent to their will, reconstructing to the whims of a wreaked God.
"I will make things right once again" They snarled, their words vibrating with holy authority and inhuman power. The frigid winds howled in assent, the elements bending a knee to their ruler. "And I will start, by granting you the power you desire, Gira."

Isa took the berry out of surprise, eyes widening as Bri forcefully pull his mask down and pressed the healing fruit to his lips. Chewing slowly, he ducked his head almost in shame. "You don't need me. No really needs anyone, least of all me." He mumbled quietly. If the intention was for no one to hear him, it might have worked if not for the fact that Bri was right under him.
