Dormition of Peace
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Dormition of PeaceMeka woke up from her nap. She let go of Farore and slid off the bubble. Glancing around, she looked for her missing friends, beginning to share Fyssi's concern. Why weren't they back yet? Farore had sat up straight and began to slide off the bubble as well.
Meka floated above their heads, nodding vigorously. She hadn't had any doubt at all at the start, but could see now that something was probably happening
It’s cold here. A white-hot agony beyond any description, anything she could have even imagined. It was burning and unnatural, something that would have made death a mercy. Pain thrummed along her bones, making her let out a groan as she came to. Oh gods, she just couldn’t begin to describe how she felt right now. Memories flooded her, making her head throb. Eraqus’s hand on her shoulder just before the ice claimed her consciousness. The black nova. The burning conviction in the deity’s eyes, so confident was he of his victory. Shame and bitter defiance curled in her gut. Ten burning hells, she was supposed to be stronger than a mere damsel captured on the fly. It turned out in fact that she could not move an inch without pain spurting through her limbs so she tried to stay still. She listened for Eraqus’s footsteps, trying to gauge vaguely where he was. Mor had not lost contact of her surroundings, just movement. The goddess of death, her namesake, would not bow easily to change. And Seth damn her before she went against it.
Meka shrugged. "Then take him with you." She turned to Bri. "Umm, with your moves, obviously."
Zexion hung around awkwardly with the rest of the group, shifting from one foot to another. "I can stay behind and watch Farore." He timidly offered, raising a hand. He often wondered if anyone in the group could even remember that he had tagged along, staying in the back of the group along with the Lunala mostly staying silent. "I'm not one for fighting..." Trailing off, he ducked his head nervously, shuffling under the anxiety that built up in his throat.

Meka felt her pocket. She also had one more note for Eraqus, if she saw them. She dashed off in the direction November had gone.
