Alsouah ran past stores of all kinds, although most were closed. He ran past one in particular, then backtracked a little bit. There were people in there. And knives. Knives were fun, too.

"Indeed we do" Louis responds. He's quiet for a moment, looking lost in thought. "Have you ever considered merging out stores together?" He asks. "I'm sure our stores would flourish if we weren't competing. Two brains are better than one. We could think of ways to push business"

Roxy frowns at that comment. "So you weren't looking for guards? Security cameras? Entrance and exit points? Did you take time to think about tomorrow at all?" She asks harshly. She glares down at the girl before she crosses her arms and huffs. "The other two better have better results..." She mutters

Alsouah entered the store and immediately tuned out of any conversations, absorbed in the knives and other blades. He walked around the store, checking prices after comparing his wallet to his wants.

Smoke started to curl from the boy's sleeves as he grew more and more excited about the knives on the shelves. Having memorized the amount of cash in his pocket, he quickly filtered through the knives by comparing price and shape. He was walking by a shelf and took a step backwards, pinpointing a switchblade on a lower shelf.

Louis watches the boy carefully, his conversation drawing away. "Excuse me!" He calls kindly. "May I help you?" He asks as he walks towards the younger boy.

Roxy rolls her eyes. "How smart can she be? You should be more secretive about this" she sighs. "Whatever, thank you for trying at the very least" she says cooly. By now her cold and harsh deminor would not be something to take personally.

The boy pointed at the switchblade, then noticed the smoke in his sleeves and made a small sound and dropped his arm back to his side. "Pretend you didn't see the smoke real quick. How much for the switchblade?"

Louis grins and names a pretty cheap price, especially for the quality of the knife. "We have other weapons as well if you are interested... Although it does seem that you are pretty drawn to that knife in particular. Could mean something, these weapons are compatible with our powers, it could be calling you. Go ahead and activate your powers, let's see how it reacts with the weapons" he coaxes with a curious glance

Alsouah 's eyes popped open a little bit, as he was saying, "Are you sure that's a very good idea..? I mean," he held up his hand, which was 'leaking' smoke, "The stuff tends to choke people out and make in a bit hard to see.." He let his hard drop back to his side.

Roxy stands up, leaving Alliana behind. She walks up to the window and leans against it, she watches the streets. She doesn't care that she is within view of any passerbys. Killing someone wouldn't be hard, especially since this window lacked, well a window. All she would need to do is fire down electricity and then ice. She shuts her eyes for a moment, enjoying the slight breeze

The boy shrugged, the held his arms out and let smoke billow from his sleeves. It started to fill the room, almost like a liquid, from the floor up. Some of it leaked under the door, but then the rest quickly moved away. "Well, tell me when," he laughed.

Louis watches the knife and tries to notice a change. He blinks now, his eyes tearing up from the smoke. "Ah you should stop now... Hopefully you can notice a change" he coughs and holds the neck of his shirt against his face

The boy quickly clenched his fists, stopping the smoke. Not just from coming from his sleeves, though. All the smoke in the room suddenly froze. He watched the knife closely, a brought the smoke down a bit so the man could breathe.

After a moment, Louis opens his eyes. The smoke seemed to be absorbed into the blade. In return, smoke curled around the blade like fire. They increased and decreased in size on their own accord. "Very nice, power absorbtion is very common, but very powerful as well. If you stab someone with that, well.. it would be very nasty for them with the added layer of smoke" he holds up a hand. "I do hope you use this for purposes of self defense only"

The boy nodded slowly, then said, "By self defense, does that include purposefully getting into a fight, or seeking out a mugger to bust up..?" He looked a little guilty when he said that.

Mulling over the question as Louis went and dealt with the customer, Shion scratched their heard. Of course they had thought about it but at the same time there were many problems in the process. Would they have two separate storefronts, and if there would only be one, who's store would become the main front? Not only that, but the work space in their store was barely large enough for two people to work with but they weren't willing to let their precious store be sold off. Grumbling under their breath, Shion simply sat back and watched Louis.
