I know there is shiny wonder trade. The point of this suggestion is to help clear out the overabundance of leftovers from SM hunts (especially Gyrados and Gastly) from the SWT, as it offers a new way to dispose of them.

Honestly this would be a good way to use shinies that are considered SWT fodder and make some of them worth more without having the spriters give a SM to literally every non-legendary evolution line

Total support, but I think the values for each rarity should be increased, like 10 points for easy shiny, because 1 is just too small.
Also what if somebody puts their sm inside(on purpose/by mistake)
And if, say I put a shiny inside but then I remember that I had borrowed it/selling/my only shiny I got/rarer shiny(eg female starters), then should there also be an option to get them back in exchange for the points?

Support, but i dont think the prizes should be extremely valuable, that would then set a price of all other shinies, and further destroy the shiny market, but it shouldn't be just pokeballs too, maybe great-ultra balls? And for a really high tier, master balls too.

Trading repeated/cheaper shinies for ítems would be Nice. Maybe collecting f.e. 10 shinies of the same for a secured Shiny egg of a poke with the same rarity o something like that also would be Nice.

How about instead of items, trading with the NPC will give u "shiny points" which can be used to redeem other pkmn?

Nuggets are a premium currency for a reason. If this were to be implemented, you wouldn't be able to get nuggets through it.
