With the new Gigantamax update, a few pokemon that have shinies and
mega evolutions have more value now. Like Charizard for
example.
I personally haven't hunted much so voting "Won't use it".
A few may now have extra value, yes, but there are more mega
pokemon than giga pokemon, and even fewer overlap, which would be
the Kanto Starters and Gengar. I don't believe the gigamax update
would cause the value of shinies of pokemon that can mega-evolve to
increase enough. People will still get swarms of shiny mareeps,
ralts, magikarp, etc. through SWT and still have an incredibly low
value.
I
promise to do all in my power to see us through this safely

Honestly a better idea would be to just make the gem collector take
the shiny extras and give us gems for them instead. With the
discount with gem spending and the royal tunnel nerfing (though dw
did make up for it a little) plus the galar map requirement gems
are needed a lot. This could be helpful then.
The gems will be given according to rarity, cost off egg with
collector and type. Bug types give bug and poison give poison. Dual
types will have a 50/50 chance. Fairy and dragon will have 10
percent chance of fairy and dragon gems and 90% of random unless
they dual in which case it will be 90% of that type like Deino will
give a dark gem 90% of the time.
Instead of pokeballs, I suggest that we could get gems of which
type of pokemon in exchange? These feature should be in gem
collector, where we can trade shinies to gem collector with gems!
:)
I really like this idea. It makes it so shiny pokemon dont become a
waste product and you just release them. For example if you are
looking for a shiny mega-able then you will have lots of extra
shinies. Maybe we could make this idea with mega ables to.
I also think there should be a cap for how many pokemon you could
exchange per day, så the shady part becomes even more shady like.
