There was a shuffling in the barracks as Zuki sat up in bed; her hair a static mess and standing on end. She was still partially curled under the thin sheets, her icy blue eyes glancing at the other sleeping forms. She glanced at Sleet, who was curled tightly under his blankets, his breathing sharp. He was still having nightmares, she could tell.

A loud snoring came from a bed towards the corner and Zuki flinched at the noise, one orange-runed arm hung down from that bed, a flask forgotten at the bedside.

"Yeah, Yeah, I'll feed you, Kitsu. Don't worry." He smiled at the fox, scratching her ears. Kitsune huffed and tilted her head away, clearly grumpy. Kibin sighed.

Mika let out another long, loud snore, causing her guide, Arishamel, to ruffle his feathers in annoyance.

The loud shuffling of noise in the barracks drove the short-haired white girl from her sleep, and groaning softly, she shoved the covers back and climbed out of bed. Kodiak nuzzled her softly whimpering slightly. Either he was hungry or he was just simply saying good morning. Kela affectionately tangled her hands in the Guide's fur.
"Good morning Kodiak. Let me guess, you want breakfast?" The grey wolf nodded, butting his head against the Guardian's belly again insistently. Kela chuckled, before nodding to the others, "Alright. Go socialize, and after I get a shower, I'll make some food for you." She casually strode away into the doorway, white hair still matted from sleep.
Kodiak on the other hand joined the two foxes Kitsune and Marie. He nudged Kitsune in a friendly manner before giving the other, more friendlier fox, a lick on the cheek.
Trying to be a reasonable peacemaker in the face of all early morning tensions, Kela's loyal grey wolf calmly nuzzled Sylphid, trying to say that not only was now not the time to fight, but the grey wolf knew that the over-sized fox did not mean anything off. Sure, the wolf did not usually trust foxes; they were shifty creatures to Kodiak at best.
(a bit rushed...but I would like to see what you come up with Tsu
A snake and a wolf...would could go wrong?)
CD returned from her late night hunt and curled up at the foot of Ellie's bed, watching the other people and their guides with wide, teal eyes.
