Garrick sighed and lifted up his head before resting it on his arm. His eyes began closing again though remained open as he watched everyone else grab books and start reading.

Marina by now had picked out a book she'd found about different types of powers, though she was already knowledgable on the subject.

Ashley settles down with a Warrior Cats book. They were always her favorite. Cherry eventually found a sports book he liked.

Marina began reading aloud, though in a quiet mumble. "An Active Power is a power within five separate categories: Offensive, in order to attack or otherwise harm other beings such as Telekinesis or Cryokinesis; Defensive, to defense oneself from harm or detection such as Invisibility or Force Fields; Supportive, not generally used in battle though otherwise useful such as Premonition or Empathy; Transportative, to transport oneself or others such as Flight or Levitation; and Teleportative to transport oneself or others through time, space or planes such as Time Traveling or Portal Creation."

Garrick grumbled at Lunara sitting next to him and Marina's mumbling, turning away from the both of them.
"We get it, Marina, there's subcategories to powers. And that means you don't have any passive powers considering Empathy is listed as a Supportive Active Power."
