"Good morning, Chae," he murmured, and Chae's wide silver eyes poked over the edge of the bed. "What time is Cocoa taking you to the library?" Chae shrugged. "Good, just as long as we're both clueless."

Marina woke up at the sound of the click and from everyone else shifting and waking themselves up. She sat up, though hunched over lazily and flapped her wings once to stretch them, yawning soon after.

Garrick remained dead asleep, his breathing deep and heavy in a light snore.
