Eura turned her head curiously at the question. It was a good one, no doubt, and she'd be lying if she said that she wasn't curious herself. She hoped for specific answers. No doubt they wanted to create more angels and demons like Joshua and Chae, but why.

"Some are driven by hatred or fear of the unknown, and those bad emotions make them hurt the ones who are here. However, not everyone's like that. I came here because I was curious, and I wanted to set an example for the others. You can be nice and still get results. Truthfully, I was going to leave, but then I created Chae." She reached back slightly to brush her fingers against his. "I became a pseudo-mother, and I had to stick around to make sure he was okay. Testing on the others is just a bonus to the job."

"Okay, so you're Chae's... 'mother'," Garrick noted with air quotes. "but how does everyone else know that we can actually trust you?" he questioned as they continued to walk through the halls.

Marina averted her attention from looking down at the ground to looking at Cocoa after apparently walked fast enough to push her up towards the middle of the group. "Her intentions are pure." she revealed, empathically channeling, "she really cares about Chae."

"I do care about Chae," Cocoa said, nodding at Marina. "anyone in this place can tell you. I don't like some of the things they do here, but I stay because I have to. Even if I can only be nice to a handful of angels and demons, it's better than none, right?"

(To shorten it, we got taken to a school like gym and a lot of things like fights and yelling happened, and now we are being transformed back to the room.)
