So I have an idea, I know when I’m on ph at night the light blue theme can be a bit much. I was thinking we should have a night mode or a dark theme. Personally I like having a dark theme because it’s just easier for your eyes to handle! So that is an idea I have and I want to hear you opinions on it!! ^^

Oh my god ! I did a feed a few minutes ago about this and I was about to suggest it since I saw the site's layout gets lighter and lighter.
Fortunately I searched before making the suggestion. I am glad I am not the only one that would love to have in the ''Style settings'' a dark theme. A dark theme is, as you said, easier for everyone's eyes to handle !
Additionally, Riako could make other themes with different colors.

Thus being said, I support this.

I often play games using the darker theme they have available just because I prefer the look of it, now i know you can change the background background but i mean, it'd be so cool to be able to have a natural "dark theme" for the forums and well, the everything else! (also the idea of being able to have multiple themes in the future to choose from would also be amazing lol)

Just turn the brightness down? If your computer allows it. And plus iOS users already have a mode like this. And if this were to happen only at night, the time for the server would be completely messed up.

Wonderful idea! I love dark themes as they seem more appealing to the eyes in my opinion I’d love a dark theme

support - it's good to avoid bright blues (esp at night) since it keeps you up later and messes with your sleep cycle. That and i'm just photosensitive and like the option to have contrast.

Giratina background does not change the color of the site's layout (light blue), which is what I'm guessing op is suggesting to be changed. Subsequently, some people only have time to play this game at night due to their busy lives, like school in the morning, work, etc.

I have an eye condition that makes my eyes sensitive to light so I'll be using this permanently. Lowering brightness (my phone and laptop are already on the lowest) and using certain apps on my phone bring about the same results but a darker color scheme definitely is better on the eyes. I support this.
