It would be awesome if we had a "lending" trade system with/without timer. Say that someone needs a ditto for dex and it to risky to trade such high value Pokemon. So i would suggest a lending system that is safe and secure (they can't trade or send on rumble missions etc) You can put in a username who you would like to lend too and for how long (max of 10-20 pokemon per lend) or something like that, and with the without timer there would be a button for the owner of that pokemon to be returned at any time. (Y)

sounds fair enough but in the case or ditto, it can't be forced out of the daycare :/

Seems like a waste of space, honestly.
Just don't lend to people you aren't sure you can trust, or make them say that they'll give it back and go to a mod if they don't.

While it may come in handy in the offchance that you lend someone a very rare pokemon(like ditto) and they decide to disappear off the face of the earth, or get banned whatnot. Still, even this seems like a very unlikely occourance that could probably get fixed by having a talk with someone with admin abilities.

Its not just that its the fact of its not gurantee that you will get it back just by talking to the mods etc. And plus what if they get banned in the mean time? Its gone for good so its just a secure way to not loose you're pokemon thats all

Ehh, I say then just don't lend your Pokemon away. I feel like lending is more of an etiquette thing rather than something that needs it's own feature in the game.

Its also to help as well... and most people on here like to help, its just in their minds as well a safe way to get their pokemon back. I see people asking alot of lending the 3 birds i have all 3 but i just want a secure way to help.

Like I said, there is etiquette to lending pokemon- perhaps there should just be a rule on lending or smth like that? I'm just giving my two cents.

I know i appreciate that but im just saying my opinion too ^.^ and i would think it will help future people as well and it will show that people on this site is kind and helpful :)

I agree with mostly with what AcryliCatUwU is saying.

If you have friends you can trust, or people who you know that won't be scummy to you, then it just would make this redundant. Besides, it's not like most people are going to lend out Pokemon to people that are strangers to them in the first place, and for the most part as far as what I've personally gathered from this community is that there's only a small minority of people ever complaining about getting scammed, or having things stolen. It's not like it's even a big problem that goes on around here that needs drastic measures taken for it.

Also, it is true that borrowing things isn't a necessity for people to do just to complete things like dex or whatever. People can just git gud at the game and just afford to buy anything they want without needing to borrow anything in the first place, and they can wait and be patient to get things done. It's not like it's the end of the world if they don't get what they want as it's just a game lol.

So in conclusion, lending is someone's choice, and just doing so is out of their own will. NOBODY has to do it. This also wouldn't make the site anymore more kind and helpful (it already is also) if you need a dedicated system that validates people to ensure they're safe, just because you're insecure with someone and don't want to tell them "no". It's not teaching people any better with finding other nice and understanding people to associate themselves with even after they've met some bad eggs along the way that have screwed them over. I just think it's important for people to learn and have experiences as it's what makes us grow.

Well most of that is true altho there is no real need/use for the salon because it only for 1 pokemon and doesnt make the site "beautiful" or even really helpful but we still got it.. i just think shes saying that altho people don't have to "lend" i get that all she saying is for safety reasons... thats all and with the "growing" like you said its only a game. 8)

@sjknights26 yeah but the salon raises Pokemon's stats as well as having the furfrou part which gets you different Pokedex entry Furfrou. Also personally i don't agree with the suggestion. If you don't think you can trust someone with a Pokemon, don't loan it them, its really that simple. I love helping others but I don't loan out Pokemon what-so-ever, even if we had the suggested feature I still wouldn't loan out my Pokemon, but that's just me and my opinion.
