The man tried to follow. He raised his gun, aiming for Gem. "I won't shoot if you give me that notebook," He offered, finger on the trigger.

Clover raced away from the shack and into the forest, looking for the source of the noise.

Gem shook her head, and jumped off the tree. She ran away with all the strength she could muster, and activating her slightly increased speed abilities. She ran and ducked behind a snowed-over bush. She dusted away the footprints in the snow around the bush, and waited. She began to glance around, examining possible escape routes.

The man watched Gem go and turned, glaring at Angell. "I could say the same thing to you," He growled.

Clover almost crashed head-first into Gem. "What happened?" She asked, letting her guard down momentarily.

The man grunted and closed his finger on the trigger, but fell so that it shot more upwards. A few birds flew away, squawking an alarm call.

Makau, as silent as a mouse, started to follow Rylie outside, but changed course slightly. She'd already heard a couple of gunshots, and wanted to make sure she didn't run directly into anyone if they went after Gem or Rylie. This is the time where your gun would have come in handy, Kau. This is what you get for leaving without it. You're probably going to die now.

Anubis entered the tunnel and began the ride to his safehouse. Inside the tunnel was a railway he set up with a cart that rode it. He jumped in and flipped the lever that pushed it Once he got there he took one of his cases and took swords, guns, ammo, and rations from his stock... then he took the railcart on the transport rail back to the entrance. On the way back Anubis heard a muffled gunshot since he was underground... He had to keep going. When he reached the exit he threw the case onto his back and climbed up... He turned toward the direction of the trainers safehouse and slowly jogged there.

(I feel like I should state again that we are alone here. There is no one to help anyone in this organization and that's why everything seems hopeless)

Clover growled. "There are more, than," She mumbled, taking out her throwing knives once more. "Come on. This is our first training session now."

She sprinted off, glancing at the grunt who was taken down by Angell. "Check him for any trackers. We'll take him back into our base as prisoner."

A few more were hidden in the trees, watching the agents with interest. One of them raised a gun and shot at Makau (and another scolded him for giving away their position).

Gem carefully followed after Clover. She glanced around, and thought she heard something. She shook it off as just the wind, and continued.

The bullet only whistled by, but it was close enough to send Makau's heart leaping in fear. But she didn't flinch, didn't give any outward sign she was terrified. Instead, she looked up, directly at her attackers in the trees. "Too afraid to come down and fight a lone kid?" She asked, raising the pitch of her voice slightly. If she tried, from that far away, she could seem little more than 11 years old, and it'd be too late once they came down.

Anubis took his sword, a Scar Light, A Remington, and two silenced Desert Eagles out. He saw Quiet Girl looking around and a gun shot flew past her. Anubis ran behind cover and quickly spotted other men.

(I'm controlling all of the men, Kohaku, and they don't know where the safehouse is)

The man growled and leapt down. The others stayed up in the tree, guns raised. One had a net.

"Get down!" Clover called, practically tackling Gem aside as a gunshot whizzed by them. She threw the knives, sticking one in the attacker's shoulder. Another fired in turn and though Clover was able to dodge most of the impact, though it did graze her arm.

Gem blinked when she heard the gunshot sound, but stayed down. She glanced around, trying to look for somewhere to go.
