A short "fluff" story between any characters/persons that you ship. It can be OCs, it can be fictional characters of games or series, actual people, users on here (you should ask for their permission tho, pft), random characters you made up for that story, anything. It doesn't have to be canon.
The prompt/theme:
A Festive Night.
Get creative with this one! It can be anything, as long as it's cute, maybe a bit cheesy, you can bring in humour as well!~
... It'd just have to be approved by Inno. :0
Aww.. Come on ;v; I believe you were one of the people that told me on Jadey's art stream that
"You are your own worst critic" , and if that should apply to me, it should apply to you, too. No one starts off as an expert, at anything, believe me; I know. When I first started writing stories... I was about 5 years old. Then I quit, because I felt like.. they weren't interesting enough, and the illustrations were obviously pretty-- sloppy because I was only five... but.. I'll share a pretty emotional moment of mine. It may not be emotional to any of you, but it meant a whole lot to me; and was one of my major accomplishments.
When I was around five years old, I was writing a story about 3 girls (can't exactly remember their names) (the story also came with illustrations!), there were these three girls that researched George Washington, IN Washington DC, so- naturally, I felt I needed to know how to spell Washington. I remember this so vividly, I feel like I shouldn't, but it was such an accomplishment of mine; witty as it sounds, but it meant a lot to me. I spelled Washington correctly on my paper, and I immediately rushed down to tell my father what I did! I waved the paper in his face, cheering jubilantly. He, of course, told me I did a good job-
ANYWAYS- That's besides the point.
When I first started writing novellas, I was in... the 7th grade. This 'novella' was an Avengers fanfiction; and let me tell you, it was literally THE C R I N G I E S T thing I have ever written in my entire sixteen years of living. I still have the binder with all 100+ handwritten pages of that story- and I never finished it because it was... just so terrible. I took that as a lesson, started improving. I wrote my second Avengers novella in about the 8th grade- that one- was slightly better, but was also pretty terrible. It was the second cringiest thing I've ever written. Then, recently, my sophomore year in highschool (10th grade), I wrote another Avengers novella. This one, if you compared my first fanfiction to my most recent, you would DEFINITELY see MAAAAAJOR improvement. It takes time, and like I said before, no one starts off as an expert; including me.
Here's a little word of advice, which really helps me in some sticky situations when I'm writing a story... Carry a thesaurus! It provides you with synonyms for commonly used words- for example, instead of happy, you could say joyous, glad, jubilant, so on and so forth. Ever since I started carrying a thesaurus (since the beginning of my junior year), my vocabulary has broadened quite widely. And, another thing I suggest, is using THIS WEBSITE if you're writing poems, need synonyms, definitions, antonyms, homophones- this is definitely one of your go-to sources virtually. So, if you can't afford a thesaurus- I highly recommend using the website I linked for you :>
@EVERYONE ELSE
^^^^ Take that advice, too! :0 Take it however you wish! But- I,
and im sure i showed you the cringiest thing i've wrote that i have record of (everything i wrote in primary school was cringey - because i wanted to get it over with, but i don't have any records of it lying around)
I actually have a friend who is kinda writing a book, and he has so many tiny details planned out it's honestly amazing (i haven't read any of the pages but i've saw the amount of detail he's put into it, he has an entire folder dedicated for things to do with his book and characters, and there are so many pages, some being the book and some being the art he's actually drew of the monsters in his world that he's created)

Nickname?: Kuru or Jade is fine!
Favorite Genre Of Writing?: Anything really. However, I am not the best at writing stuff like angst or romance. I plan to practice those, and any help I can get would be great!
Other:
Its actually a lot so im gonna put it in spoiler if you dont wanna be spoiled (and i hope you dont want to):

They are basically going to be the
nymphs for Solgaleo and Lunala. They won't really be demigods since
Solgaleo and Lunala will be able to make them with their essence,,
they will just kinda hang around the Poke-Olympus (i gotta think of
a name) with Unowns, some of them are Cosmogs and some Cosmoems
Cosmogs and Cosmoems are actually not meant to be caught by humans, which explains why their movepool is literally just Teleport and Splash/Cosmic Power. Along with that, them being able to evolve into Solgaleo or Lunala comes from the fact that they are made from their essence.
Its also "bannable" if they manage to evolve into Solgaleo or Lunala. and by bannable i mean turning from the stardust pokemon into literally only stardust

so nebby is literally illegal
Nickname?: Some call me 'Cat', so I guess that counts?
Favorite Genre Of Writing?: Fantasy, I guess, though I do dabble in other genres.
Other: My first [and only] story on PH about PH (for now?) I seem to have developed a habit of writing in 2nd POV? I have no idea how that happened and I'm not sure if I should try and break that habit or specialize in it x' ) Some critique would be appreciated, though ^^
